I highly recommend Waipio Auto Repair. I have depended on them for routine maintenance as well as AC and brake repairs on my Tacoma. From intake to mechanics, the shop is staffed with professionals. Excellent follow through on every job, they always checked in after work was completed to ensure I was completely satisfied.

Luzcille, Jesse, and their crew are always very professional. For the both times that I needed service on my Tacoma, they were very efficient in scheduling an appointment and communicated what needed to be repaired and offered other options if they were available. I know there are many auto shops to chose from, but I feel very comfortable in referring Waipio Auto Repair for your mechanical needs.

Best mechanic shop around. I ve been to 3 different mechanics on island & they are the best ones I ve been too! They always get my car in & out in a very timely matter with everything fixed. I know mechanics tend to have the reputation of overcharging but not Waipio Auto Repair. They ve always been very transparent with everything and always allow me to review the prices before they proceed with the solution they recommend. I ve taken 2 different vehicles here and have had great experiences both times. 10/10

This shop has been so helpful since moving to the Island, always communicating with me as a customer and doing there best to fit my jeep in quickly. They are kind, honestly and very respectful. Their work is superb and quick. This.iz where I will continue to take my jeep for work.

Drive from Waianae to come to this shop and would give more than 5 stars if I could. Allowed me to drop off my car earlier than scheduled, offered to give me a lift to Zippys when I said I would wait there, asked how my family was doing, and didn't pressure me to make repairs (told me could wait until the next check-up). Really appreciate the customer service.

My long time mechanic had retired, and I needed to look for a new place to take my truck for repairs. Waipio Auto was one of several shops I looked at and called. They had the best ratings/reviews so I made an appointment with them. Luzcille and staff were very friendly! Waipio Auto Repair did an excellent job in servicing and fixing my Ford pick up. They fixed it in a very timely manner, and their pricing was competitive. I have serviced my car here three times, two oil changes and a transmission flush and I never had issues. Luzcille is very friendly and polite. She even give suggestions where to take your car for services they don t provide. Their price is competitive.

Been going to them consistently for over a year , always good service , timely and communication is great .They pointed out one of my wheels was splitting (inside metal) when I didn t even know . Probably saved me from a major accident . I come to them for my regular maintenance , inspections etc .

If it wasn't for Ray, who knows how long I would've continued to procrastinate on bringing my car in for service. Luckily, he texted a friendly reminder that Waipio Auto Repair is there if I ever need any car service or repairs. Ray was able to book a same day appointment per my request. The service itself took about half an hour (literally about 2 hours faster than my previous maintenance appointment at a different place). Needless to say, I will be back...hopefully not for a repair since now I will keep my car maintenance on schedule.So if you are looking for a locally owned auto shop business with good work ethics, honest mechanics and fair prices, you found it!

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change. The mechanic doing the service discovered that a couple of oil gaskets leak and the wiper reservoir top was broken. they called to see if I wanted the extra repairs done. they got my permission and completed all repairs in 1 day. Waipio Auto does good work and the mechanics are top notch.Thank You Jessie Luzcille and crew.

The crew at Waipio Auto Repair are always very knowledgeable, helpful, honest & precise. They have serviced/repaired two personal vehicles and one commercial vehicle of mine. I highly recommend their services. Work is done by a Mercedes experienced mechanic. Personnel here are always friendly and courteous. Service is done professionally and at reasonable pricing compared to dealers pricing. Shop also checks with you periodically to see if you re in need for any services. Also checks to see if service performed was without complaints. Shuttle service was also great. Recommend this shop without reservation. Comments are based on doing service here on my Benz for almost 3 years. Service has been consistently great. I ve used the dealership service also. Great and honest service! Easy to work with and very communicative. We originally took our car to another mechanic on the island who charged us a huge amount of money only to find out that they had installed a faulty, after-market part. Though it took some time, Waipio Auto was the one to discover this and fix the problem at a fair price. Highly recommend.

Kindest people ever. Best and most honest service I ve had here in Hawaii! So thankful to have found them! Highly recommend coming here for all of your needs. They did a great job on my son's RAV4 brakes, so I had them change my oil on my 2003 Toyota P/U. I had a small oil leak, which I had a hard time finding the right repair shop to fix that problem. They suggested to put a dye in the oil to see where it was leaking. That was a great idea. They found the oil leak. I plan to have my Civic AC recharge there next. Mahalo, Mike

I always go to Waipio Auto Repair for all my car needs, and you should too. They've always been super helpful and accommodating. I love that they check on you even after you get your car serviced to make sure your car is doing good. The customer service is exceptional. Ray has been especially helpful throughout the years. At Waipio Auto Repair, I was happily surprised with the great service. I received updated text messages regarding the status of my vehicle, estimates of how much the service would cost, and was able to get my vehicle back all fixed up sooner than anticipated. Everything was done as intended, I was advised against unnecessary repairs, Ray was very informative about the progress of the repairs, my vehicle was evaluated realistically for how long I wanted to keep it and my driving needs, and the car was kept clean. I have been to many mechanics and auto shops, and none have come close to this professionalism and care. It s been 6 weeks after having repairs done and I still feel confident with my operating my vehicle. My van did not pass the safety inspection because of a leaking end boot. I made an appointment with Waipio Auto and they took me in within a few days. They inspected the van and gave me an estimate. During the repair, they kept me updated as to what the status of the van was and how soon they would finish the job. They replaced my stabilizer bar link, tie rod boot, axle shaft, and had an alignment done (all this was done in a day and a half). They are professional and friendly. I won't take my van to anyone else. I highly recommend them.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Waipio Auto Repair has performed various services for all of our vehicles. They performed routine maintenance and some engine repair. They've always done a fantastic job on all services and are very detailed in articulating needed repairs to the customer prior to performing the repairs. The staff is very professional and courteous. The mechanics and techs at Waipio Auto Repair are very knowledgeable. All of our vehicles are running great. I have been coming here since it was called Taira's and they were always helpful and friendly. It's a small shop and mainly for maintaining your car/cars and repairs to best of their ability. So if you need a minor repair or just maintenance I recommend coming here. I think they also do safety checks. Not sure tho.
