Just got the 2021 Silverado back and was I impressed. The men there r the best of the best. The owner Rod is the man. He took the time to explain n voice his opinion. Something that I m so grateful for. His prices n the work r beyond my expectations. I ll definitely be comin by again n sending more business there way. Thankyou so much to Rod n the Men of Rads Motor Sports.

I am thrilled to have found Rad Motor Sport. I have been to three different Mechanic shops, all could not find the cause of a very loud knocking sound. One wanted to change the entire suspension and more that would cost me $5000, one even told me to take it to the dealership. Brought it in to see Rod and after an overnight stay PROBLEM SOLVED! I m so thankful Rod and Sean did not give up. And the best part is it only cost me $300. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Rod and the team at Rad Motorsport.

WARNING do not trust these guys. The same guy who owns Rad Motorsports owns Tokyo Auto. I bought coilovers one year ago and was robbed. They stole $1300 from me because I paid in cash. They continued lying about the suspension being lost in shipping and constantly made excuses for why I couldn t get a refund. The good news is I sued them and won. Probably because no one bothered to show up to court. DO NOT TRUST THE OWNER OR ANYONE ELSE WHO WORKS THERE. They were all complicit in helping me get robbed.

Super friendly, timely, responsive and very reasonably priced! I have been searching for a JDM specialist for a year or so after some bad experiences with a speed shop on democrat st. Reyn was very helpful to remedy a botched DIY fuel damper replacement on my 350z. The team also attended to other issues that i mentioned in passing convo without pressure. To my fellow DIY penny pinching youtube ebay warriors out there: please believe, be patient and leave it to the pros at RAD!

These guys helped me out twice, once putting new tires on my Honda ACTY and then plugging a hole. Both times took me right in, super friendly and fast service.

Thank you so much guys. Was referred by a friend to check out this place. Had a broken pipe in my exhaust system. Workers were able to fix it quickly, clean, and efficient. Pricing was really reasonable and I would definitely go back again.

So a few months back I went into get my springs installed and alignment done. I found that the alignment could be closer to specifications with adjustments to some areas they were unaware of and after pointing it out they got it much closer to specs. I would give them 4 stars for that work. If you are planning to do exhaust work, let me give you 2 red flags I became aware of. First is I inquired about having my down pipes installed.After mentioning the vehicle type they told me this horror story about how they had done a vehicle like mine and the DPs cracked twice. I told them what brand mine were and they said that was the same one so they are not doing these installs anymore. went ahead and emailed the CEO of the company and informed him of what I was told. He got back to me and informed me they have never had one downpipes from my platform ever crack after selling thousands.Matter fact he told me they have only had one crack in all the years in business and it was due to installer incompetence. wasn't going to believe him and I did my own due diligence. I found this to be true. It was another brand. SPL that was cracking. Matter of fact there were tons of occurrences of it. Turns out this was the brand they installed. Having this reassurance I went ahead and installed mine myself and 2 months later no problems. The second red flag was when I asked about headers on my mustang. The exhaust guy stated they don t do those cause you have to support the oil pan, which is plastic to raise the engine to put in the headers. This was real disturbing to hear. Any reputable exhaust guy will know you support the transmission bell housing, which is metal, to raise engine. Not the oil pan. Guess what. I did it myself again. No problem. I would not have been able to do it without Kalani s garage. It s a DIY shop where you can rent a 2 post lift. Sometimes if you want it done right you have to do it yourself.

Don't waste your time if you have a cracked rim. They don't guarantee their work and can't fixed a warped rim. 95% of cracked rims are warped even if its millimeters. Recommend going to a company on island that can guarantee the repair, fix the warp, and certified to weld the ENTIRE crack! See photo of how it SHOULD look after!

Came in for a new set of tires and rims. Rod helped us figure out what set would be best for a vehicle. He also helped get us the best deal. Rims had to be shipped it but it was done in a week. Came in to drop off vehicle and was really quick (less than 2 hours). Team is very friendly. Happy with my purchase and with this companies help.Service: Tires

Nate was the mechanic who switched out the exhaust flex pipe in about an hour. ROD the owner is personable, professional and reasonable. My total price incl. tax per this post was $183.25. Date of repair without an appointment as a walk in was Thursday 09 Oct 2020 around 10:30 AM. They are a find!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Great dyno prices. Our group got a deal and it was only $80 for 3 pulls. Nate does fantastic exhaust work and was incredibly helpful with making a decision on what to drive for my custom exhaust. This is one of the few places on island people trust with work on performance cars.

Have used RAD Motorsports multiple times for Exhaust and Tires. They are very professional and upfront about their expectations which is a huge plus especially in this industry. Prices are very fair and comparable. Service quality is fantastic and the turnaround time is phenomenal.I can vouch for the services that I have done so far, but plan to use them for more as I see fit.As of current I have done a few custom exhausts from them and tire installs with alignment. The quality of the exhausts were everything I hoped for and they certainly build it to the specs you need it to be and also recommend ways to make it better based on their professional experience. Pricing was more within reason than buying an already built-aftermarket exhaust that can cost you thousands. They make one from scratch built custom just for you for a lot less.Tire service is equally rendered in care and quality. I have called many shops on the island to buy tires and have it installed before asking for RMS's help. Firstly, other shops would tell me they either couldn't get the tires for me since they are odd sized, or if they could, ended up quoting me unrealistic prices. Secondly, even if they could get it, the tire was odd sized that they could not install. Mind you, I have a stock car that requires these sizes, they aren't aftermarket or anything, I just wanted a direct stock replacement.With that said, RAD Motorsports was upfront with me about the situation and recommended me a place to get the tires, which I promptly did, and it has saved me literally at least a thousand dollars, and in a couple days had the install completed here without any issues.My car had to get towed from my residence to their shop and the owner recommended me a towing company to get the job done. The company that was referred to me for towing was just as awesome. To me it says that they value having a network of great wonderful people to work with, which also shows in how they operate their business.Being a customer of theirs for at least a decade now is a great example of why a vigilant consumer such as myself returns for their remarkable craftsmanship and the honest character of the business.I am critical of where I take my cars as there's an unfortunate stigma that looms around in the automotive repair industry, RAD Motorsports is one that I can certainly trust for their work, their attitude towards customers, and their honest prices. They are caring people and an amazing local business I enjoy being supportive of.Personally, I highly recommend RAD Motorsports for these services, and in general other auto-related customizations or repairs as they are a one-stop shop for most jobs. When I moved to Hawaii, I had to recon my car and found that the side-exit exhaust I had fabricated wouldn't fly here so I had to re-route it out the back and didn't have the time or the skills to do it right myself. Nate did an incredible job of reusing some of the original pieces without damaging them. Looks great, sounds great, price was reasonable. I'm very happy and would recommend this place to anyone that cares about quality work.

Took my 2013 Civic Si to Motorsports in Waipahu and my experience was just okay.I don't want to write a big longer review, so in a nutshell:I wanted to have some very basic aftermarket parts installed on my car. Exhaust system and CAI.I would normally do these type of aftermarket installations myself, but I'm a single dad who works full time so it was worth it to me to have someone else do the installation for me.I received mediocre service that was matched with mediocre work. They apparently had trouble fitting on an exhaust system that was designed specifically for the chassis of my vehicle.THEN, they charged me over $100.00 more than what they quoted me over the phone.This intake doesn't require any removal of the bumper nor does it require you to relocate the battery harness... you just take the old intake out and put the new one in. BAM--- DONE! (maybe 15 minutes tops to complete)But yet they charged me for 2 hours of labor for something that shouldn't have taken more than an hour to complete.Again the work is mediocre and their obviously more concerned with making money than with building a loyal customer base.I couldn't recommend that anyone bring their vehicle to this location.

I've had a great experience every time I've had work done here. I've had suspension, alignment, and exhaust work by Rad, and can't recommend them enough. Great process and a great crew!

They were able to install tires onto 13" wide wheels. Most tire shops are unable to do this. Service was fast.I didn't know they existed, because they are back in an industrial section. Looks like a great place for performance parts and wheels.

They were on time and found out what was wrong with our truck right away. The mechanic was nice enough to show us what the problem was. We were advised to come back to address the issue in which we did. The staff was very helpful and friendly. That's why my whole family goes to Rad's!!!

My dad told me about Rads and told me to check them out. So I just got my custom exhaust installed on my '92 Honda Prelude today and it was quick! About 2 hours. The price was good too but it depends which muffler you pick. They got a wide variety! Ren is a cool dude and he knows what he's talking about. Heck he even taught me a thing or two. They got a mandarel pipe bender which was used to make the custom exhaust. These guys are professionals and I Highly recommend them. Thanks Ren! I'll be back!

Wait time varies but the work is quality. prices are good to fair. I shop around and have been back there 3 times because their quality work and price is hard to beat

I love Rad Motor Sport for many reasons. They are honest, reliable, and extremely professional. My husband is a Subaru enthusiast and will not take his beloved Subaru anywhere else.

The guy tried charging 365 dollars for 4 feet of pipe , I was supplying the flange and muffler... asked for a discount and he got in my face... wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. sorry.. got it done at exhaust systems of hawaii for 104 bucks... don't go here
