I was forced to take my car to Lex Brodie s because of a two week wait at the dealer to get the brakes serviced. Lex Brodie s were able to get me in the next day. Service experience was sort of neutral. Nothing negative but then nothing really positive other than service was fast and I received what I paid for which I guess doesn t get any better. Prices? I needed the work completed ASAP. Maybe bought more than I need?

Great customer service. My wife's car got a flat. Called several places, Lex was the only place with tires in stock and able to service the car that same day. The lady on the phone and the office were friendly and knowledgeable. Competitive prices as well. Will definitely go back.

This is a place you can trust! Writing this review so Sam can get a free lunch (see photo)...but the service was worth 5 stars!! Bottom line - I gave them permission to replace parts that they found out were actually still ok, so they didn't do the extra work. The overall cost was 5x less than the original quote and 2x as fast as they originally thought.Had the car towed here because it died on us after filling up at a gas station. We dropped off on a Sunday and they said they would take as soon as they could (either Monday or Tuesday) since they didn't have any mechanics on shift for the last half of their day. Sam ran a diagnostic and the alternator and battery were both bad, but the quote had a ridiculously expensive alternator listed so he promised to re-run the parts search Monday to see if he could get a better deal.Fast forward to Monday and he found a much cheaper alternator so I gave the green light to get started. Imagine my surprise when they called me two hours later and told me the car was ready for pickup! After replacing the battery they retested the alternator and found it was actually functioning fine. They *did not* need to do this and I NEVER WOULD HAVE KNOWN if they had just replaced the alternator anyway. The overall cost was 5x less than the original quote and 2x as fast as they originally thought. I will be taking my car here from now on - thanks Sam!!

I would like to give a shout out to the Lex Brodie Team in Waipahu who were professional and informative every step of the way when purchasing my tire. I hit a pothole on H-1 and it destroyed my tire! Tesla said it would take 3 weeks to get the tire in, Lex Brodie had it in 1 week. A special thank you to JR for ordering the tire, and the rest of the team from installation to completion, you guys ROCK!

Needed a tire repair, never tried Lex. Wow, they fixed my flat for no charge!! That was amazing. Stella gave me 5 star service, I am definitely a customer now! Truly amazing experience, highly recommend!!

Please stay away. I m sure they are great for a wheel replacement. If you need anything more they will take 3 days longer than it would take, at which point you will charge you 1,900 more then you should just to have a major break down a mile or less down the road. When you tell them the part now broken was part of what they messed with they will charge you ten times more and take ten times longer to fix. Please take my advice and stay away. I thought I had found my lifetime garage, i however found a garage that will bend you over the barrel at any chance they get. Wether it s poor employees or poor management. Doesn t matter. They won t do what they need to. Please please please choose anyone else on the island.

I should have left this review a long time ago, but now I have more examples of why this "auto shop" should never be visited.My wife has been bringing her Subaru Forester here for a while because it's easy to make appointments and it's close to where we live. We liked how they take pictures of potential problems that need fixing to show you so that you feel you're not being scammed.When our AC went out, we brought the car here. They changed a small part and said we should be good to go. Less than a week later, the AC was hot again. We took it back. They changed another part. 2 days later it was hot again. I called them myself this time, and they said "oh yeah, this is how we do things to try to figure out what's wrong". So they kept expecting me to bring the car back until their trial and error approach would work? I don't think so. I took the car to Mike's Auto Air Conditioning. It took him 5 minutes to diagnose that the evaporator needed replacing. Would have saved over $1000 by taking it to him first instead of having Lex fumble around with it.Oh, but it gets worse. I didn't leave a negative review before since Lex is a "Tire Shop" at its core. So I chalked it up to a lesson learned. However, it appears they can't even do that right. Previously, we brought the car in multiple times to get an alignment because the steering wheel always pulled right. It would come back from the shop STILL pulling right, just slightly less. I thought "it can't be that hard to do an alignment, so maybe something else is wrong with the car". After driving it like this for a year or two, one of our tires had excessive wear on the outer rim. I knew I had to take it in, but we needed a safety check first. My wife made the mistake of coming back here to do the safety check. They denied the safety check because of that tire, said 2 of the other tires "were on their way out", and tried to sell her $900 worth of tires that day! I was livid! The other 3 tires are just fine, and $900 for a set of 4 is ridiculous. So I took the car to Discount Wheel and Tire today in Waipahu. Great experience. Had the one tire changed and confirmed the other 3 were fine. They found that the alignment was all jacked up and fixed it for me. Driving away from the shop, the car finally does not pull right. So ALL THIS TIME the problem was that Lex can't even do a proper alignment.I'm not convinced anyone at this auto shop knows what they're doing. DO NOT come here for AC problems. DO NOT come here for tire or wheel problems. And DO NOT come here for a safety check. Just don't come here in general. Taking pictures of potential problems means nothing when they can't even fix the problems.Like I said, Mike's AC and Discount Wheel and Tire are top notch. Go there if you want a fair price and actually get your problems fixed.

Great shop, communicated with me clearly and were straightforward. They worked my car in for service in a timely manner. Sam T was my technician and he took time to explain things, talk about my options, and saved me time and money. I d go again!

Updated:Scott D Williams, Vice President - Marketing & Brand Management, went above and beyond to ensure Lex Brodie adhered to values of the company and I appreciate the work that was done. My car was unsafe and with Scott's help, we were able to find a win-win on a price. He did honor the Premium Brake Reline Package on their website.I would recommend Lex Brodies if you need auto work done, they will try to find you a win-win solution. Flawless experience. Called in to make an appointment, they ordered the specific tires I wanted, delivered the next day & installed. Price matched Costco that would have taken 2 weeks to get here. FREE rotations as long as I own the vehicle. Mahalo!

The gentleman there was super nice, lady friendly. I got there at 9:40 didn't leave till 12:40 so just expect to wait a while.

Great service, fair pricing, friendly staff, and professional management that actually cares for the customer.Hard to find good, trustworthy mechanics nowadays and I wouldn t trust my Nissan Altima getting serviced anywhere else. They will square you away. Save time by making an appointment / getting in early - it s worth the wait!Many thanks to Sam for his hard work and dedication to ensuring my car was taken care of. He deserves an amazing lunch that reflects his amazing work ethic. I highly recommend choosing Lex Brodie if you want to get your car serviced the right way!

Nice to see women taking part in the Servicing of your car. The Staff was nice and the waiting room was clean and comfortable. They even had 2 massage chairs :)

They're usually pretty good. This last time was a disappointment. Dropped off the car to change 2 tires. Ended up changing 3. But the unhappy part of it was it took all day and I didn't get a call when it was ready. I took a gamble and went in. Car was sitting there. Don't know how long it was ready. The guy fixing it already left for the day.

Polite. Thorough. Willing to go to warehouse on a very busy Saturday to get the tires I wanted. Safety check, oil change and the mounting all done smoothly. Why can t all commercial encounters be this professional?

Plan on waiting for 2 hours or more as after 2 hours my vehicle was not touched. All I needed was to have the tires rotated. Sad.

So one of my tires was losing air slowly. I went to Lex Brodie's on 05/03/23 at 8:30 a.m. I had scheduled an appointment prior. I wanted to write a review to say just how much I appreciated this visit. I went in thinking I would need to replace my tire. But staff was friendly, and notified me they would take a look to see if it could be repaired instead. They did just that. Turns out my tire was repairable and it was an easy fix. I so appreciated the honesty and not trying to take my money unnecessarily. As a woman, this is HUGE. I will definitely return for future services!!

Update** To my previous review of 1 star rating was a total miscommunication to the unforeseen circumstances that took place on that very day due to a bad traffic accident causing the Techs to be late and therefor longer wait to completion times.Here's what I will share, My previous Past Experiences 10+ Years of being a customer to Lex Brodies Kalihi location has always been a pleasant Visit and very time efficient to completion times of my Vehicles. I have had nothing but good customer service over the years. My correction to this 5 star review is solely based all my years as a customer and my experiences that I will not let one bad experience and total misunderstanding to the circumstances be a unfair rating to the years of great service & experiences they have shown.

Amazing!!!!! I had an appointment at 9AM sat in the lobby for 3 1/2 hours and they hadn t done anything. In my experience it doesn t take maybe but 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. If you make an appointment just plan on waiting. It s funny to see all these 5 star reviews. I saw that they had a promotional in the lobby that if you leave a 5 star review on Yelp or the Hawaii BBB that they d buy you lunch .

Came without an appointment for a check engine light, and was told it could be the next day before they could look at it. Two hours later, they looked at it, found it was an invalid fault, and didn't even charge me for the diagnostic. No complaints. Leialoha rocks!

I went there for a safety check and although I just walked in and no appointment, they took me in. Staff are so friendly especially Leialoha Santos. Awesome service and they are digital as well. I would recommend this place. They are honest and they service your car with aloha. Great job. More power
