I made an appointment for February 28, 2024 at 0700 I arrive early and checked in by 0700. I was told with the issue that I brought my vehicle in that my vehicle may have to stay overnight. So I took my uniform out of my vehicle because I had another job after my primary job. If someone schedule an appointment, vehicles should be worked on the day of the appointment. Second Item I had to call at 1:27 PM the next day to find out the status of my vehicle. I was told it was ready after electing not to have the over $1000.00 for radio screen replacement. When I pick up my vehicle I notice on my bill $14.40 hazmat disposal fee. I had a diagnostic of my radio and side windows, no hazmat. I called the service manager and he said it was the cost of using the tools and everyone has to pay for the use of the tools up to $50 depending on the amount of the bill. No worries I will not go to this dealership again. This is the third time that I was not satisfied with the service I received. If I am spending my money I deserve what I pay for in a timely manner. Know my sun roof or back window doesn't open. I take my vehicle in for one thing and leave with other issues. They worked fine two days prior to this service.

Super awesome customer service. Dora was the sweetest and was very patient and accommodating with me throughout the entire process of me choosing the vehicle that I wanted. If you ever go there ask for Dora and she ll take great care of you. Lee and Colin were also very professional and helpful with explaining each step of the process. Mahalo Nui!

Our Service Specialist Mike is always engaging and gives us a sense of purpose when visiting you folks at the Waipahu Service Center. He's always welcoming and gives assurance that my vehicle is in the best hands. My car has been in the shop off and on for the last 7 months and my passenger window is still not fixed. So far I have spent $1,230.75 and was told that I will need to spend another $2,000. when the part comes in. That will bring the total to $3,230.75 which is NOT RIGHT. Please help me. It is a safety issue and I need it fixed.

DO NOT TRUST SALES AND FINANCE TEAM!!! Extremely crooked business practices here. My family is expanding and I needed to trade my truck for a vehicle with more seating. It was January 2024. I had a 2017 Colorado with 20,000 miles on it, pristine condition. I traded it 10,000 below kbb value on the premise of getting a better out the door price on a 2019 Caravan with 60,000 miles. Ended up settling after negotiations with Mark on 6,000 ABOVE kbb value on the van (I understand dealers need to make money) but was promised that they would match our Navy Federal loan of 4% apr. We met with COLIN PAGBA, who assured us multiple times that our loans interest rate would be matched at 4% apr. MULTIPLE TIMES TO OUR FACE. We signed on the deal, all on an iPad, never touched pen to paper (will be important later) and everything looked great. Fast forward to our first payment of almost $600, the entire payment went to interest and didn t even touch the principle. We called the lender, Santander bank (we found out is a scummy subprime lender after our research) and they clarified that a 17.64% apr had been requested by Colin. We were floored. We drove back to the dealer in the van they sold us with multiple issues that they STILL hadn t fixed or even made an appointment for with my 3 kids and pregnant wife. We met with General Manager Shane Lawrence who defended his team and denied that they ever make any shady or misleading deals despite him not being present when it transpired or doing any research into the situation. His attitude showed us that this is their regular practice and they get away with it quite often. There is no way both me and my wife overlooked and signed a deal of over 17% interest after coming from a Navy Federal loan of 4% which the interest was the only thing we stayed adamantly focused on even when they tried to distract us with just our desired monthly payment or loan length. Colin and Shane both promised to call us back the next day to address the situation further and neither of them have to this day. I admit my first mistake was not going back to Navy Federal first, but I didn t think that Colin and Mark of Cutter GMC would do something so detrimental and disgusting like this to me and my family in the name of profit in their pockets. Nefarious business practices being done here. They came off as very caring and assuring so I let my guard down, I didn t expect a couple of nice seeming local bradas to enact such predatory lending behavior but they did. I am reporting this to the BBB, Federal Trade Commission and the State District Attorney. We are also seeking legal council for guidance on next steps. STAY AWAY FROM ALL CUTTER LOCATIONS.

Was able to negotiate with our numbers. Appreciate his hard work and professionalism. I recommend Justice (10/10) perfect customer care .

I still feel like I m back in the 70 s and 80 s before the credit card revolution. My dilemma is that I can go to Costco, Walmart, Firestone or even small store like Lex Brodie s and buy my tires at the same price for Cash, debit as well as credit. I have to pay extra fee for using my credit card at this establishment, before paying my credit card company charges. I m not used to carrying over $1500.00 cash on me or easily use debit card for such big expense. When will Cutter join mom and pops restaurants who doesn t charge extra for credit card use. This used to be a thing in the early days of visa and Mastercard. Many modern American businesses today gets suspicious when people are paying thousands of dollars in cash, but I wonder if this business has limits to how much cash it s willing to accept per transaction.

Unprofessional. Not forthcoming. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I bought a used car & did a trade in. One of the salesmen provided me with incorrect information multiple times. They add in coverage and say you can t remove it, even though it s about $3k. They pressured me into trading in my vehicle for another one when I wasn t really ready to do so. I didn t get to drive it on the freeway before purchase and now I know why. Less than a hour after sold it to me I called back and confronted one of the salesmen about the issues and said I wanted to cancel the transaction. He said he would call back and never did. They also made it sound like they dropped the price to negotiate, but really they removed coverage and then tried to sell it back to me later. The car was listed WAY more than it was worth initially. There s pretty significant cosmetic damage to the vehicle, but it doesn t stand out because it s somewhat hidden, and they didn t disclose anything about it to me. They re supposed to send me paperwork and haven t. Any time I call, I m told I ll get a call back and never do. Not to mention, they gave me way less for my trade in than they should have. They print things out that show prices, but look carefully because they ll show you your car graded as fair or poor so the price is lower, but it s so small on the page you don t notice it. This has been an absolute nightmare.

Mike over at the Service Department is the best!! He was so patient and reliable in servicing my vehicle. He never hesitated to assist me 20 times and follow-up with! Ok, it wasn't 20 times, but it felt like it. But he was patient, professional, and genuine! I hope he is recognized for his exceptional work and service. People will always remember how you made them feel, and I trust the service department at Cutter Buick GMC entirely because of Mike's dedication and commitment to providing quality customer service.

Almost appears to be a decent dealership, but falls short using dishonest tactics that gives car dealerships the negative reputation they are known for.- They go to extreme measures to lie to you- Not upfront with pricing- Takes the crown for playing dealership games *Went to Honolulu location but read below and you ll see why I m reviewing this location as well.BUYER BEWARE!*My Experience:Wife and I stopped by prior to closing. Fell in love with a LandRover LR4. Made an offer on the vehicle (to take off approximately half the cost equivalent of the state tax, off the price of the sticker).After them trying to persuade me to come inside, claiming it would take only 20 min - I declined, saying I needed to get my family home and we came to a verbal agreement on price and the 1500 or so I wanted off the sticker and that I'd return the next day.The very next day I show up after work... USAA approved, ready to print out the USAA check... the 20 minute process turned into 30 min of filling out paperwork and questionnaires, waiting around for 10-15 minutes, then finally the paperwork is placed in front of me without the money taken off as discussed the night before, plus literally 5-6 thousands of other fees, and useless warranties... so the dealership games had begun!After the salesman goes back and forth speaking to the GM... they finally just tell me they can't go that low in price. I simply wanted what we discussed the night prior and without the added warranties. I was dropped off and wanted to get in and out before traffic. Instead I waisted two hours of my life and ended up getting an uber and going home sitting in traffic for an hour and a half.That story isn't simply my biggest disappointment. After I left, the dealership maintained communication with me via text. Finally when I was ready to accept their price, the response was we received a better offer from another guy. I thanked them for their time and I found a different LR4 the next day and bought it.So the DISHONESTY of this dealership is really seen here...I happen to drive by the cutter dealership in Pearl City and to my surprise the same exact LandRover with the same license plate (MBC 1) has been moved to another lot and market WAY up in price!They could've simply told me "no thank you" regarding the price and not wasted my time with dealership games and then lying about selling the vehicle. What was their to gain from that? ...besides a bad reputation.I dodged a bullet by this deal falling through.BE AWARE OF THIS DEALER!The risk with buying from a dishonest dealership is usually the relationship isn't over once you buy the vehicle, especially if you have to go there for service. I'd stay away from this place. Plenty of other places on island.I purchased a new lease for my wife from Servco Toyota. No issues at all with them.BUYER BEWARE!

If you need a car and are looking for honest service, go to Sean. When I tell you I went in there nervous because I've never walked into a dealership alone! This man made me feel welcome and like family. I went on a Saturday, was welcomed in and Sean was friendly and understanding. Went the following Thursday to just test drive and before I could sit in a 30k car they had, he told me another one was brought in 2 hours prior that was 21k, just detailed, and was the make, model and year range I wanted. Its like God dropped that car off for me. Best service I've gotten.

I was first assisted by the GM Shane coming in for a Terrain AT but after comparing the differences with a Terrain Denali, my mind was set that if I made a deal it would be for the Denali. Salesperson Matt took me for a test drive and helped work out a fair price on my trade in. Great Experience and highly recommend this location.

I have been a loyal customers for years. The customer service has always been top notch which is why I keep coming back to work with them. I recently purchased another vehicle at GMC Waipahu this weekend and worked with Johnny S. and Chad K. and they went above and beyond my expectations. Customer service is huge for me and they checked everything off my list and then went beyond that. Johnny is an amazing salesman. He takes his time to explain all the features on the vehicle, He is honest from the start and checked up on me to see how things were going after my purchase which I really appreciated. Chad really worked his magic and got me everything that I wanted and then more.Thank you so much GMC Waipahu for always taking care of my family. You already know that I ll be back in a few years. I had a great experience there. Car buying process can be stressful but Romeo is the best. He was honest, reliable, very nice, has good energy and humor! I felt confortable all the process thanks to him.I would definitely recommend this place. Even if you live in Honolulu, it s worth coming all the way.

Dont ever buy from this because they going to rip you off!! My first ever American truck but sadly it didn t go well! They are not honest people especially their agent Sparks who lied to my face saying they dont put a mark up price on any vehicle which at first i found absurd. Only when after signing the paper works their money faced manager Melvin told me its a 20% mark up price! Avoid this dealership and bunch of crooks they are no good. They wont help you instead they would help themselves fattening their pockets! Look for other reviews who experienced the same. Way better to go GMC Honolulu and look for Sean.

Very poor customer service. Johnny Sparks helped me and my brother with a car loan, my bro don't even have a license. They all just worried about the money and because things are financially hard I tried to "unwind" the loan which we CAN do because I called Santander Consumer for info about what happens if I can't make payments. I tried calling Johnny but it keeps call forwarding and also I talked to the GM and he just hung up on me when I asked to unwind.Sad. This kind people just makes me feel some type a way. Sad. Can't rate no stars so I had to do with 1.

Editing review: so it was a mistake, but I received a call, sincere apology and frequent follow-up through the day from manager Tom. He acknowledged that he accidentally cashed the check too soon, and after spending about 18 hours in a panic, my original deposit cleared and the 20k check did not bounce. Cutter Buick did offer to cover any fees associated with the early check-cashing but hopefully that has been avoided. I appreciate and accept their apology...it was a stressful day, that ended okay. Very much looking forward to enjoying my new vehicle.I wish I could say it was a good experience. Buying a car is a taxing process. I was told the price and said it was too high so I was fine to leave and they insisted I stay and came down a bit in price, so I accepted. I was paying $3,000 by credit card immediately and I left a check for the remaining balance, which I stated many times, was to be cashed when I called to say my money had transferred and was available. I wake up Thursday morning to see that THEY HAVE CASHED THE CHECK. It seems no one even listened to my request and now you have an upset customer.

I loved this dealership. The sales woman, Katie Blevins, was such a great pleasure to work with. She helped my wife and I every step of the way to decide which vehicle we wanted. She never pressured us into anything we were not comfortable with and always had straight answers. She was extremely up beat and had an awesome attitude the entire time. Even the other workers we spoke with, they tried their very best to accommodate us in every way. They did not give up until we were satisfied with every aspect of our new buy. This is definitely a place that values their customers and prides themselves in good business.
