Shannon, his wife Malia, and the rest of the boys at Auto Genius were super solid from the get go. They were honest and upfront from the beginning, and quickly earned my trust. Shannon was able to diagnose and correct a few problems caused by another shop across the street. I have recommend them to friends and have already been back to service my other vehicles. Their hard work and honesty speaks for itself.

I am very happy and pleased to share my recent experience at Auto Genius. I went in for an A/C issue and had it in my mind that if it were to cost a lot, I would have to retire my car. Both Bill and Shannon are very honest and skilled and saved me a lot of money. So happy that I now found a terrific mechanic shop. Check them out and see for yourself.

As most car owners feel, having someone diagnose & repair your vehicle requires Trust. Shannon, Malia & their company have definitely earned my Trust. After being badly screwed over by another local mechanic, shannon dug deep into my vehicle's problem, explained what was initially done incorrectly, gave me a price and fixed the problem as promised. Not only did he warranty his work, but he called me a week later to see how the car was running. Auto Genius is my place!

So happy to have found an auto repair company that does it right! They are integrous, providing quotes for work before they proceed, they explain whats wrong and what their going to do. FAIR PRICING! They don t overcharge and don t perform work you don t need. They are GENUINELY concerned about your vehicle because they care about the driver & passengers. They also tell you what needs to be done soon. We trust their work. Plus they are a AAA so if you have AAA you will get a discount.

The Auto Geniuses come highly recommended by people - and I now understand why. For people, especially women, who are not very well versed about cars and repairs, the biggest fear is always being suckered or conned into paying for something that isn t broken, or duped into making you think your car needs more repair than it actually needs. It s so valuable finding an auto repair shop that you can trust - with genuine people you feel who are sincere about wanting to help you - with no BS attached.I was unfortunate to buy a lemon off a guy in Craigslist, and Malia and Shannon were the most amazing people to help me with my car s repairs. They are hands down the only people you should take your cars to, because they are amazing and I am so lucky to have encountered such gems. Thank you Auto Geniuses!

Awesome people who are knowledgeable and care about getting it correct the first time. Honest with how it can and should be done. Very good with cost and gave great options. Aloha and humility from beginning and all through the visit with auto genius. Never felt like I was a pest. I ask a lot of questions always felt important and what i asked mattered. Love this place and the team that work there. Highly recommend auto genius for all your auto repair needs. God bless!

Auto Genius quoted me a price, got me an appointment slot within the same week and were done with everything within the time they set. I appreciate fast and efficient service, so mahalo.Also, the waiting area is nice, and Malia is very polite, personable and kept me abreast with how the service was progressing.I have no reason to not return to Auto Genius.

Really reliable and on time, trust these two power house with my cars and my families cars. I would recommend them to everyone, and they're very knowledgeable on what they do. And takes pride in they're work. I got my truck on the day they said it'll be ready by, and I love how my baby is back to life.

Shannon and his wife Malia were friendly but most of all they were kind. They listened intently to the problem and calmed me in an already stressful situation. They didn't overcharge and was even able to pricecheck the parts that were needed to ensure we got the best deal. Thank you very much. We will becoming there for all of our future auto needs.

Love Auto Genuis of Waipahu...... I recommend this shop to all my family and friends. Thank you Arnel Cruz for the referral. First off, this husband and wife duo, works great together and cares about you and your vehicle. Malia was very customer service oriented, patient and upfront. Shannon was very knowledgeable and honest on what needed to get done first in terms of priority due to the problems he diagnosed. In addition, he was transparent with everything for example: pricing of parts, labor and expected timeframe. Moreover, his forsight and consideration for the financial aspects of the job was brilliantly offered into options for me to choose. All in all, I enjoyed the clean and cool waiting area provided while I waited for my vehicle. Keep doing what you guys are doing, you guys are the BEST in this business. Wait......p/s : "Auto Genuis offers rental cars if your vehicle is to be kept overnight for repairs etc.." Great added service to compliment their aloha and humbled overall experience they have shown to both my husband and I. We have used them twice already for my Dodge Ram 1500, (Fuel pump replacement, Transmission replacement, Tune up and Oil change) Always satisfied after leaving their shop.2 thumbs up ,5 Aloha and God Bless,Ed and Moreen Kea

So glad AAA suggested me this place! My car got broken in the middle of the road and was towed there. Very professional, wonderful, polite people. Work fast, have all needed parts available withing few hours. Reasonable prices. Highly reccomend.

Great team. Couldn't have found a better crew to work on my vehicle. They diognosed the problem gave me estimate and asked me if I was willing to move forward. It took about two days. Before you know it I was up and running very efficient that's what I'm talking about . Yes with out a doubt I'm recommending friends and family. Awesome customer service, honest prices, and A LOCALLY OWNED business!!! I was quoted over $700 at Midas Waipahu to change my break pads and rotors! Took it to Shannon and Malia and paid $400. Glad I found them

Staff was nice, however, charging me over $60 for the 2 minutes it took to change two blinker light bulbs, it's way too much. I could have done it by myself if I wasn't a disabled wheelchair-bound Iraq veteran.

There was a confusion about payment. If I was told cash only without a fee I would have shown up with cash. Because I used my debit card I was charged the same 3.5 terminal fee as a credit card. I was confused. I want to say that the job was great and all repairs were beyond expectation. Thank you
