Scheduled a same day safety inspection. Had to wait in line a little while because one car had some issues, but our inspection was quick and easy once we got in.Definitely difficult to find the place. I think you can follow the sign that says workshop. Grateful for the other reviews that gave detailed directions, but still didn t know if we were in the right place. Overall I am happy with our experience!

Went in for a safety inspection, very efficient but the shop is difficult to locate. Google maps took me down a residential street. I finally found directions on someone else's review. It's located in the Sugar Mill complex on the backside of the building housing the Waialua Coffee Factory. You have to go around the north side via a dirt road and then cut in.

I found the service at this station to be prompt and thorough. The owner is all business, and doesn't like clients to show up late, so I've always shown up a few minutes early, just to be sure, and then pull aside and wait only a short time. He even adjusted my headlights, for no extra charge, which were pointing down slightly. Thelocation is a bit hard to find, in that it is located behind all the retail shops at the Sugar Mill, so if you get lost, just ask someone who works there for directions.

Great service and fast! Got my vehicle inspection It s really not hard to find thanks for the maps others as posted. Just North Shore love and husband talked shop with the guys. Make sure to make an appointment and email your insurance info before. EASY and done.

Went in today for a moped safety inspection. When I pulled up two gentlemen gave me a blank stare and I asked if they did moped inspections and if I could get one today. They nodded their heads yes and said you'll have to wait and walked away. When I asked how long they said not long and they walked away again. When they went to do the inspection they told me I was lied to and that I didn't have a moped, I. had a scooter. After he made a phone call he came back and told me I didn't have the right paperwork. I would rather paddle across the Pacific Ocean in a Walmart life raft than have to deal with their horrible customer service and sad business again.

Really difficult to find. You have to go all the way back into the sugar mill until you see a wide open field with a bunch of parked vehicles and boats beneath an overhang type thing on the left side. Go onto the other side of that overhang (either by driving beneath the open part of the overhang or by driving around the back) and there's a lane running parallel to the field. One of the stalls in that overhang thing is Haleiwa Service. Usually there's a guy in blue doing a safety inspection or something around there and you just have to wait until he can help you. You can also make an appointment by calling ahead for a 15 minute time slot. Either way, have your paperwork ready. Manuel is very polite and will engage in small talk, but he's there for business. $26 for a safety inspection, $27 if paying with credit.

Difficult to find with zero signage. Stopped to ask directions when they didn't answer their phone and the neighbors don't even know where to find this place. They went on today that everyone gets lost trying to find the place and they wish the business would bother to put up signs. When Haleiwa Service finally answered and I asked for directions they were condescending and rude and hung up.

This is a one man show, if there were others working there might be a chance for a bit more technical expertise and customer service. I went there twice with two different vehicles which were low speed vehicles. The first time I pulled up I received no hello, no instructions where to go, what to do etc. and this is while making eye contact with me. Blatant disregard for me standing there. After finally making the effort I told him I had an appt....his response....still no words just waves and points for me to pull in the bay. This first visit ended with him not knowing what to do and he said he needed to call the DMV. I asked him to call me when he found out, a week later still no call. I moved on and just chalked it up to being too busy or not caring.I went there today for another safety inspection on a different vehicle, not out of preference but because he could get us in the same day and he was close. Well again the same story above, except he helped several locals before us (mainlanders) even though we were there first. I walked to him and told him we were his appointment for safety inspections. His response was, I called the DMV last time and they told me to tell you to go there. I told him these were totally different vehicles (make, model, color....hell they dont even look the same. I won't even bother telling the rest of the story but it ended with him ignoring me and walking off.I've had some pretty bad service being a mainlander but this guy tops the cake. I wouldn't go back if my cars life depended on it. My recommendation is to make the extra 15 minute drive to Wahiawa and find someone there. Utterly disappointed in the lack of service and disregard for customers.
