Best auto shop on island with some of the most honest and hard working mechanics you will ever meet. Every time I have taken my car here, they have gone above and beyond to meet my needs and make it as affordable as possible. True aloha!

Horrible place! Was told repair would take 2-4 weeks, ended up taking 9 weeks with only 2 calls! Then since my Jeep was sitting there for so long people damaged my car trying to break in at night or day who knows . Ian was helpful, friendly, and accomadating!!! Fixed my issue and answered all my questions. I walked away having learned a couple things. Also didn't try to push useless services or snake oil like many auto shops. Overall professional and friendly, awesome service at good prices.

Awesome group of mechanics! Helped me with my Mitsubishi Lancer Evos clutch and helped me buttoned up the car. Definitely will be a returning customer to finish up my car!! Highly recommended!!

They ve been super open and honest with the issues we had with our Jeep. They worked at a good pace and were a VERY good price even let us have our vehicle towed their after hours which was the only shop that let us do that after calling 7 different shops. Will refer everyone to them from now on because they seem to genuinely care or try to help.Service: Electrical repair

The staff is unprofessional and the service I was provided was terrible. They take advantage of you based on appearance and rip you off. I do not recommend this place if you want actual professionals and experts.I brought my car in because the AC was not blowing cool air. I was told that they will need to run diagnostics and the freon my car uses is the expensive kind. They explained to me that the freon is going to be expensive on top of the diagnostic. The bill was around $500 for both. After waiting a while, they said no leak, just needed to refill the coolant. This was summer last year - around August. The AC worked fine for a while. But only lasted 6 months.We moved to the mainland several months ago and took the car with us. The AC stopped cooling again a month or so ago. We took it to firestone where the staff was super informative. Explained us the issue, what it will cost and how the diagnostic is going to work. They said they will put a dye that will help trace the leak since we likely have a leak somewhere. Then we will bring it back in once the AC stops working again and then they can fix the leak. Obviously still expensive especially with the type of freon our car uses.They explained this all to us and quoted us the price before doing the work. They were realistic with us as well about how the diagnosis is going to be like.I admittedly don t know much about cars and neither does my husband. But I felt like they saw a young looking girl and took advantage or they really are just vultures. Either way they don t come off as a business with ethics. Shady people all around.Really regret going here. I wish I went with my gut cause the moment I saw this place I had a bad feeling.

I gotta say this place really came through for me. I called a few dealerships and they were all booking 6 weeks out which did not work for me. Got a recommendation to check this place out and I could not be happier. John gave me a very reasonably quote to replace the rear main seal on my Chevy Suburban and was able to get me in the following week. Not only did he knock it out a day earlier than promised but he was also a under the quote. Straight shooters here, no BS, Highly recommended! I had an engine misfire in my Ford Expedition and LS Auto did a great job solving the issue. It took longer than expected, but I believe they treated me fairly and the car is running great, no more check engine light and no more issues of any kind. My starter was dying on my vehicle and I called to see how long it would take to get my car fixed. The moment I called, they went ahead and ordered the part. I got the car to them and it was ready to pick up about 2 hours later. I had a good experience there. They spent time/labor looking at my car and taking it apart. Gave me their honest opinion about it. After i decided it was best for me to have it towed to a scrapyard instead of fixing it, they said they didnt feel like they should charge me anything. Thats some integrity right there! I gave them $50 dollars for lunch which the guy reluctantly took.

This is my go to place for auto repairs. The staff is friendly and professional. All repairs done in a timely manner with complete explanation and cost. I wouldn t go anywhere else.

Since when can you find an auto repair shop that is friendly, efficient, and doesn't overcharge? L&S meets - and beats - all the criteria.This is my second time here and I am pleased to say that my second experience is just as good as the first.I had a hole in the heater hose. They diagnosed it quickly, and got to work on it right away. They had to locate the part, but overall, it was another great experience at L &S.If you are having car trouble, go to L&S. Wish I could give it six stars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

They deserve every 5-Star review! Looking for a mechanic nearby, I saw that the reviews for LS were glowing, specifically for their honesty. Sure enough, they lived up to all of the positive reviews! Lester was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. It is such a relief to find a business that is as helpful and reasonable as LS, especially in my urgent time of need for vehicle repair.

THEY ARE AWESOME!Both times that I've taken my car in, the guys were friendly, really quick and did a phenomenal job.I love that they're honest about what needs to be fixed and charges accordingly.Today I needed the exterior door handle fixed.Charged my Kindle and IPad.John changed it in less than an hour!No time to read a book or watch a movie :DThe cost literally was half of the highest quote I got elsewhere.Thanks guys!!!

I'm not sure who gave these guys a 4.7, but I stopped by the shop after reading all of the good reviews and received the worst treatment. Just simply wanted to see if they were willing to work on a project of mine, and got completely blew off. I've experienced this a lot with the locals, they're very passive aggressive. The "Aloha Spirit" in my opinion is just myth.

These guys are legit. Brought my F350 in multiple times for different reasons. Each time they were up front about cost and let me know when they didnt need to replace/fix something. Saving me hundreds of dollars. They are fast and do flawless work. This is the only shop ill go to now and I would highly recommend them to everyone. Most honest mechanics I've met

I had taken all my cars to John Davis and he alwayz does the job right the first time. He might be pricey but he gets the job done right and I've never had problems for years. He is the most honest mechanic I've known and knows his stuff son I would refer anyone to him.

Had them replace the clutch in my truck last summer. Had some issues with the replacement - they fixed it for free, no hassle. The staff/mechanics are super nice and helpful, and walked me through what was causing the issue and how they fixed it. Would HIGHLY recommend.

My estimate from another auto shop was 5000 to change radiator, a/c and timing belt. Of course way too much, I'd rather purchase a new car. Anyway, found LS automotive on Yelp with great reviews and decided to check them out. Lester checked the car within an hour and said my radiator was leaking and the A/c blower needed to be changed. I asked if he could do it today and he said yes!!! Plus he estimated about 600 total for the work. Great shop, very reasonable, super friendly workers and awesome work.

Outstanding Auto Shop! I highly recommend this place. One of the most honest body shops you ll ever find. My car started making a loud squeaking noise. From what friends told me, my brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. I went on Amazon and bought all replacements for my car. I was initially taking it to Goodyear but found out they would charge me roughly $500 just to replace my brakes and rotors. Keep in mind I bought all supplies, just needed installation. I saw many recommendations to LS Automotive so I decided to give them a call for a quote. I quickly realized how nice and affordable they were. Once dropped off, Lestor called me back to let me know that all four brakes didn t need replacing. I was shocked to know this because other shops would have changed them anyway and took my money and charged full price! Not this place; they do the right thing! They even serviced my back brakes for free. My neighborhood app recommended this place and boy, am I not disappointed. It s hard to find an honest body shop as it is. Super happy I found this place. I will be doing business with them for years to come! Thank you Lestor and technicians! You guys are a great team!

Awesome work by John and his team. He ordered and replaced my 2012 Sonic Radiator fan while I was waiting, damn he was fast. Much appreciated John and definitely will let family and friends know about this place.

Very nice staff. Went in for a diagnostic test because my transmission had a leak, the guys ended up just looking for the leak and fixing it within the first 15minutes and only charged me for the clamp that they replaced instead of the diagnostic which would ve been $150. Good job guys

I previously left this review on the page for ace transmission in Wahiawa which I believe is the same business under an old name.Had to have the clutch assembly replaced on my vehicle, did the whole job for over $1000 less than I was quoted elsewhere, and now my clutch is working smooth again. I was called about any issues that came up along the way with a new plan of action and nothing was done without my approval. Work was completed within the estimated time frame and any parts ordered but not used were taken off of the total bill. All of the old worn components were shown to me at time of pickup.I will be back here for future work on my vehicle and I recommend this shop for your vehicle repair needs.

I have used this shop for all my auto needs I gotta say John a is the freaking man. He's awesome always available to help with all the random questions that I've asked and always ready to help outHis team does awesome work and I mean I have 4 company vehicles and 3 personnel vehicles he and his crew have worked on all of them and they guarantee their work.

Reliable, Knowledgeable and will check without a huge fee...The most trustworthy and honest mechanics you'll ever find. I'm so lucky these guys are near my home. Lester & John know their stuff and aren't trying to just take your $ for nothing.

i have transmission trouble with my car and the mechanic actually scared me that he would charge me $7k to fix it... but instead he directed me to go to nissan because he probably knew at it may still be under warranty based on the info that i gave him.i scheduled an appointment at tony nissan and they fix my 2016 nissan altima transmission problems free of charge.... i only paid $43 for tire rotation... it only took them 2 weeks to fix it because they waited for the parts to arrive.these are the people that we should trust with our vehicles... very knowledgeable at what they do and with integrity. upfront and very professional.

Always friendly. Knows what they are talking about/doing. Best mechanics I've came across so far. **John, when I took my Odyssey to do trans work. **Lester, who helped figure out my problem with my F150...saved me money big time lol. Although the drive for me is further out I'd rather take it, then be left with unknown answers and worries. **Mahalo LS AUTO
