I initially thought I had a transmission problem with my Camry, but Frank quickly diagnosed it as an electrical issue, saving me time and money. Their honesty and professionalism are truly commendable. I highly recommend to anyone in need of reliable and honest service.

Do yourself a favor and go to Pearl Harbor Transmission. Amazing customer service and staff who treats you like family. Frank was amazing and let me bring my vehicle in same day. I truly appreciate being able to support businesses who are honest people.

I went here back in July to help find out what was happening with my 2003 Nissan Murano. Frank was pleasant and went above and beyond just checking out what was happening with my transmission, even letting me know what estimated cost and labor of parts and services from outside his shop might be like. Aloha All,I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. I broke down on my way to work a few weeks ago. I heard a lot of positive reviews about Frank and Pearl Harbor Transmission so I decided to call. Frank answered the phone after hours and spent a good 10 minutes with me over the phone diagnosing and listening to me explain the problems I was having with my transmission. I dropped my truck off to him the very next day. Frank immediately took my truck (with me) for a test drive. I was amazed and impressed with him for immediately knowing several issues with my truck. Within hours, I received my phone call from Frank with his diagnosis. Not only did he repair my truck, but he took the extra time to explain in detail the intricacies of his craftsmanship and what he did to fix my truck. He even gave me my old parts that he removed and replaced so that I could see the damage. No other shop was able to accomplish what Frank was able to! My hats off to Frank and the entire team at Pearl Harbor Transmission! Excellent service and extremely friendly, courteous and kind! I highly recommend using Pearl Harbor Transmission!

I took my 1990 Montero to this shop because of great reviews and few people told me to check with him .. well I decided to make a call and speak to the boss (Frank) about my car issue . frank said come by.Made my appointment . super nice man with his work and professional knowledge. did a test drive of my rig! and gave me his honest option that I didn't have an issue with my transmission pretty much saved me 2500-3800$ repair according to another shop estimate. frank took the time out of his heavy day schedule to take care of my truck. and to be honest I wish he does more then just transmission I would have love for him to work on my car felt comfortable and friendly guy.. aloha vibes thanks a lot Frank you are the best! blessingsService: Transmission

Aloha!! That's what this man has! Passionate about his work and goes out of his way to help you. He's not about what other people say if there is a problem with your vehicle. He will literally get in your car and assess it himself right there.I was referred by 808 Automotive ( best mechanic shop EVER!) to have my car get checked out by Frank at "Pearl Habor Transmission" I called and talked to him and arranged a time the next day. My 2000 Lexus RX300 was not up shifting and Frank was able to pinpoint the issue. It wasn't a Transmission problem fortunately but Frank referred 2 other mechanics that could.It is important that people be respectful and realize that this is a specialty shop. Transmissions is what they do. Not tuneups.Mahalo Frank for your time and efforts.

Took my car in for assumed transmission problem.Once we started test driving my car, Frank immediately told me it s not the transmission but probably the axle. After checking the car on the rack,Frank was right! A few moments later, it was all fixed and at a very good price ! I was happy!! This is one of the best experience I ve had at a car shop!!! I took my Nissan Versa there thinking it was a transmission problem, however after checking my car that was not the problem..he was kind enough to follow through trying to find what was wrong..turned out needed other repairs but he followed up with me two or three times to advise how to handle car issues..I would recommend taking your transmission repairs to him as he is honest, and very thorough..

Frank is just amazing! I m glad I went to this place. We drove my Cadillac due to a noise, suspected wheel bearing issue. The previous shop I went told me it was transmission differential bearing. I almost spent thousands of dollars for no reason. Frank help saved me money with his technical and mechanical prowess. I paid less for a wheel bearing work. I was quoted $3800 (=/- 10%) and was charged $143 to be told what was wrong with my car from Pearl City Transmission. Pearl Harbor Transmission, gave me a free estimate and a quote of $3000-3400. I feel they are MUCH more careful about saving the customer money and doing their best for their clientele. I trust them. Frank was Great.

I would definitely recommend this guys service. Took my Nissan Sentra in November to get looked at and the guy was very helpful seeing if it was a transmission problem and helped with a plan for the best action for my car. Very honest and won t scam you. Definitely recommend

Couldn't get service done on my wife's vehicle because Frank refused to tell me the cause of the problem. My transmission was leaking which I knew, that's also all he told me. " your trans is leaking from the front, I'll give you two prices 1500 to fix it and 2500 to replace it". I asked what was causing it and he told me it would be 1500 dollars to tell me the cause of the leak. These are his exact words. I request my car be taken off the lift so I could come pick it up.

Paul was straight forward and honest with me. Service was fast and high quality. I dropped my transmission off my car myself and brought it in to be re-sealed. they replaced all my seals and the bushing and pressure tested my torque converter. I had quotes from other shops for replacing only 1 seal and was quoted over double what paul charged me for everything he did extra. Hopefully I'll never have another vehicle with tranny problems, but if i do i am bringing it straight to Paul!

Had the transmission on my 07 escalade crap out. Called around and decided on this place. Paul was very straight forward and checked the entire drive train to ensure it was indeed the transmission. He explained to me what had to be done step by step. My quote came out a little more than originally quoted, but this was due to the parts supplier miss quoting the price in parts. They took a big hit for their bottom line but still did not waiver far from the original quote. The transmission came with a warranty and the vehicle drives better than it did before. Great staff and experience overall. If you got transmission problems this is the place to go to. They will be honest with you and come in way under price than all of the other transmission shops around here.

My Dodge Journey 2015 couldn t even move when it was on drive. Been trying to call around but most people don t do interior repairs on the transmission. Called Frank and he said it was a go! Thank you Frank for taking care of the car, means a lot us.

Took my H2 in for transmission repair and they knowingly put the wrong transmission into my truck. Transmission that they put in my truck only lasted 6 months before having to spend for a new one. They then proceeded NOT to honor their own warranty. I repeat, avoid this place at all costs.

This place in 100 percent amazing! They have great customer service and are very friendly. I received a free quote, when everyone else wanted to charge $100+ to simply figure out what was wrong. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. You will not regret it!

I thought I had a transmission issue. After testing the car they told me that my issue wasn't from the transmission. They didn't try to sell me whatever. I appreciate that. Thanks guys.

Great company they had my husbands truck up and running within a week. We were so lucky they had a transmission for us!!
