We had some problems with the Jeep we rented during our vacation on the island las winter (January 2023). When we returned it and explained what had happened, we were given a very fair discount. Christina was very good to us. :)

While visiting Kauai, used Enterprise car rental. Shuttle from Lihue airport to rental site. Vehicle was ready and waiting with a short bit of paperwork to complete, and we were on our way!Very easy return, quick check in and quick shuttle back to airport. Super convenient.

Have used Enterprise for years, both professionally and personally. Always find a good options at a fair price, online rental and pick-up is always quick and efficient. Vehicles are clean and we have never had an issue.

We rented a mid size SUV for a week. Getting the car was VERY simple, no pressure to upgrade or add unwanted charges. The vehicle was clean and operted withouot issues. Return was equally easy. All charges, were precisely as expected.

Terrible car rental location! Spent nearly an hour sorting through the sub standard condition, high mile and very dirty vehicles until they finally came through with a clean vehicle from the "back"... then nearly 4 weeks after we return the vehicle we get a damage claim emailed to us?? We did the walk around and confirmed the fuel was full upon return etc... we did absolutely no damage to the vehicle. Nightmare to deal with! Pick another company to deal with.

Perfect car for the family vacation! We used it to make a super early morning dash to Tunnels Beach before the masses of tourists took all the parking spaces and left us to walking! Thanks

The car rental experience at Enterprise in Lihue, Kaua i was outstanding. The transition from the airport to the rental site and then to car pickup was seamless. I advise pre-checking online to quicken their already efficient process. The vehicle was not only clean and well-maintained but also equipped with modern features. Returning the car was also straightforward. If you're planning a trip to Kaua i, I highly recommend their services.

I always use enterprise when visiting Kauai however I had very disappointing experience today while returning the rental car. The agent who was checking in returns attempted to blame our family for the dent that was not noticeably visible at the bottom of the cars frame. I m grateful I had a taken a photo of a more obvious dent on the cars body. Here is the photo for dispute for anyone who takes out a silver Chevy Malibu after 3/4/23 and they attempt to charge you for destruction. Safe travels!

I ve never written a negative review before. Unfortunately, when we returned the car we were accused of damaging it. We take great pride in taking good care of our cars, especially rental cars. The front license plate holder was not secured properly to the bumper and there was a slight miss alignment with front left bumper. We picked the car up with these damages. We were NOT responsible for them. Nevertheless, we we accused of causing them which was a most distasteful experience. The worker implied we would likely be receiving a claim for these damages, which we were NOT responsible for. This pending problem is adding unwarranted complication and stress to our lives. We paid ~$1000 to rent this car and this is the last thing we expected to deal with. It honestly feels like we re about to get scammed. Speaking of getting scammed, they added a second driver fee when we picked up the car without asking if anyone else besides me would be driving. After calling this out they removed the fee. Shady stuff. This is the last time we will rent from this Enterprise because of this experience. I d recommend renting from a different company in Lihue. If you do rent here, take close up video/pictures of the ENTIRE car to protect yourself. To Lihue Enterprise, stop renting out cars with damages and then falsely accusing customers of causing the damages upon return.

Process was easy. Rented my vehicle in Kauai through COSTCO/Enterprise. Best price we found for small SUV was given a Ford Edge. Its Hawaii, it is at the airport if you expect instant service you might want to take a shuttle. Everything was great with the rental. Customer service was top notch. Just be patient you are in paradise.

Enterprise at the Lihue HI airport was so nice and helpful. When our engine light came on they made a vehicle exchange as seamless as possible so we did not miss a minute of our vacation. Thank you!

2nd time the wife and I have gone through enterprise on one of the islands and by far my expectations are blown out of my mind once again and my families...we Rented online ,a Tahoe, for space and when we arrived very very late in evening the gentlemen thought that we would be more comfortable in a 2016 Yukon :-) 4x4 fully loaded...no charge for,upgrade ~~what! Deal! Rides so smooth... One full tank lasted all week..

This Enterprise location is so fast, friendly and helpful.. it's the best experience I've ever had renting a car. Within my rental I had to call to extend twice, and it was a quick, painless experience both times. I'd like to shout out to Retha, who helped me when I turned the car back in and easily answered all of the questions I had regarding my bill. Thanks for your patience!

Good shuttles to and from the airport, friendly service, and good vehicles. The jeep we rented wasn't as clean as I've come to expect from Enterprise - but this is Kauai and Jeeps get dirty. It's also more expensive to rent here than other places - but again this is Kauai...They say don't take vehicles off road but this is Kauai: Our VRBO was technically off road, so our jeep was muddy when we returned it and they asked where we had taken it - I told them we drove it to and from our VRBO which was down a dirt road - and it had rained so it was muddy... Not much I could do aside from maybe taking it to a car wash before returning it so you might do that if the place you are staying or visiting is down a dirt road that is muddy. I'm including a picture to show an example of what they considered muddy (and there IS some mud - but like I say it's hard to avoid on Kauai)

Have been using Enterprise for many years. When signing in at the counter to pick up the car, the agent asked if we wanted to add my wife as another driver but failed to mention that it would be another $15/day for the 15 days we were renting the car. Due to an unfortunate situation, we had to rent another car and extend our stay. We checked with Enterprise but they didn t have any cars available so we had to go to one of your competitors. They don t charge extra for adding a spouse as an additional driver

First of all, renting cars on Kauai the last few years has become a big PITA....long, slow moving lines and very expensive. I have been coming here for 49 years and overall has gone down--GUY Enterprise moved their south off airport office to merge with Alamo and National--thigs are very tight there but it is shorter to get there as they are now with the other rental places. My biggest complaint is that the prices are just awful at all the places and it is a profit grab--if you do not like it - too bad--same all over the USA, not just Hawaii. Enterprise as a company is one of the best out there in a declining service world. I just wish that the area in Kauai that has all those car rental buildings could expeand so that they are all not jammed together- it makes it very uncomfortable for the folks renting.

Very pleasant experience all around. Quickly picked up at airport. In a car of our choice within minutes. Zero hassle.Great car. Same experience checking back in. Very fast service. Within a few minutes we were back in the shuttle and on our way to the airport.Charges were exactly what we had been told.Can't say enough good things about this company.Clearly an Aloha Spirit experience.

Tough one to review. Staff was great and friendly. Above expectations. Mike or Michael helped us with a complaint. BUT THIS REVIEW IS FOR ENTERPRISE. We reserved a premium car quite literally 10 months ago. Arrived and they very simply state sorry we have no premium cars but help yourself to these SUV or we can give you a charger. Both vehicles a lower price vehicle????? Terrible. When you don't deliver on your contract a better car or a discount is on order. Standard business 101. The vehicles were dirty and used up. Nearly 30k miles on the four we looked at. I complained and Michael (above) gave us a Chrysler 300. Hate that car because major gas hog but a little better than the run down SUV'S. Would not go back. Staff was FIVE STARS on friendly but may need trained on how to properly take care of customers.

Booked a vehicle for Monday till Saturday usage while in Kauai. I had originally needed Saturday till Saturday but they couldn't meet that need, but could handle Monday till Saturday. Got our pick of any vehicle in one line of vehicles and chose a 2019 Ford 4x4 Super crew pickup. It was fun to drive, plenty large enough for our gear and got 18 mpg which wasn't too bad. Our in and out experience when picking up and leaving was quick, courteous, and well organized. Would use Enterprise again and again.

Best Experience EVER! The Lihue Airport Enterprise group was so amazingly efficient and kind. It was the quickest, best experience I've ever had at a rental car company, seriously. I walked in and they told me to go pick my car from the aisle and I was on the road to fun. The return was even easier. A smiling face met me, reviewed the car for damage as I was removing my luggage and I was on the shuttle with a fun and upbeat driver who dropped me off at the airport 5 minutes later. Easy peasy. They have a great group of employees there.

Before my trip to Kauai I was warned to expect long lines at the rental counter. I was pleasantly surprised that when I got to the counter it took me less than 10 minutes to get my car. The return process was the same, the shuttle driver when thru a checklist and I realized that I still had the keys, he said no problem he would take care of it. The car was clean and well maintained. I would definitely rent again from Enterprise.

Enterprise had the best price of the rental agencies I checked. A shuttle picked us up at the airport and immediately took us to the car lot, about a 5 minute trip. Spent about 15 minutes at lot to register and get the car. Everyone very professional and courteous. Car was nice and clean. Turned car back in a little early 3 days later and got a partial refund which I was not expecting. Turn in was very fast. Got on shuttle and went to airport immediately. There was very little waiting for anything, really nice. Great service, thanks!
