HORRIBLE.I will not be spending another dollar of my money here. The fella at the front desk is as rude and unprofessional as they come. There seems to be a trend in his awful reviews he keeps receiving for the same thing. Being rude. I hope he changes his attitude or I think he will run himself straight out of business as his google rating will continue to drop and eventually became 2-3 stars. He also seems to reply to all the reviews of his customers being treated poorly and continuously blames them. Honestly once of the worst customer experiences I have had in a while. Waving his finger around, talking down to you, short rude responses to fair questions, rude answers to his cash only business. Just overall a poor interaction with him. Hope he takes some of this feedback and treats his paying customers with some decency... Wont be back!

Avoid if you value being treated like a human being. There s nowhere to park and no signage to tell you where to park. I pulled up and I m greeted by a rude man yelling that I cannot park there that I need to move and that he cannot do my inspection because my license plate is not mounted on the front of my car when I explained that it has been taped before he yells at me who who like he s a darn owl . Then he starts yelling that he doesn t have what I need. I don t need to be yelled at I will go somewhere else gladly . Rude, unfriendly and truly unhelpful. Piss poor customer service. Go somewhere else the reviews are deceiving. You shouldn t yell at people and raise your hands when you don t have an answer.Response to reply-You did yell at me. I wasn t pissed, I was taken back that you where so rude and short with me! I took my business elsewhere after I mounted my license plate. I did not ask you for anything. I simply stated that it wasn t a problem before it had been taped. So I left and took my business to a true professional. Not someone who comes out and waves their arms and in a loud voice/ telling me you don t have what I need. Your customers even where looking at you yelling at me. No you clearly did not have the aptitude or knowledge on how to talk to a person that was trying to conduct businesses. It s okay I m not pissed I actually laughed about how tackless you are. You are the one who seems pissed. Good luck either way. That trash you tried to serve me is not how you conduct business.

I just left this place without my safety check after returning with the additional needed paperwork, The large man, working at the counter demonstrated appalling behavior towards me. It was extremely sad, and I would ask you not to give your business to such a place. He didn t like me as soon as I entered. He gave me a terrible scowl, the minute I walked in and I knew I was in trouble. I came in, in a rush and in my medical scrubs because I m on my break from work. He was hateful and mad because I didn t read the directions on the wall. Its sad but I honestly think he didn t like me because I was a white woman with Boston plates. What he doesn t know, is that I am not a tourist. I am here living permanently, as a healthcare professional and am trying to get to my Lahaina patients ASAP, who are in extreme crisis. He was extremely rude and hateful and threaten to deny me service. I left after that and I wanted to tell this story because that s not the aloha spirit. I m not a tourist, but if I was, I d be ashamed of him, you must be kind to everyone to matter what race, color, or religion. Unfortunately, people have to come from the mainland to provide medical services here and I am the only one of my specialty on the island so I m spread very thin. Let s try to be better people and do better for each other. Instead of being nasty, take that energy and volunteer in the community we really need to help now. Mahalo.

We needed a safety inspection and came to Broncos. Very thorough but quick, friendly service. Nothing but down to business with local flavor. Cash only, easy parking.

Really nice guy, casual and good at what he does. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes (but there was no one ahead of me and it is first-come first-served). Cash only.

Quick and easy. Super efficient. Inspected the vehicle, installed a brand new safety plate that I purchased offsite and removed the old sticker affixed to the bumper. Really nice guy; great service. I'll be back there next year.

Great service I go to Bronco garage all the time everyone that leaves bad reviews usually doesn t have the proper paperwork. It s not the shops fault you don t have the documents that you need to get a safety.

This place is the best! I called at 4:40 and asked if I could still come in and he said it was no problem. It s cash only so I stopped to grab some cash. When I got there he told me my safety wasn t even up until October but my documents weren t qualifying because the last person who did my safety typed in my license plate incorrectly. I was happy to spend my money here for him to correct it. Amazing service! I will definitely come back.

Worst customer/human relations service. Shame on him! He needs to learn.. to respect the customers. Inform them.. don't treat them to your bad attitude because they are unaware of something.*Temp safety (good for 30 days) an option he did not offer like the guy around the block happily suggested. He got my business in the future as well.

Support a local independent business. Owner is super practical and very efficient. His passion for old Broncos creates a great personality for his shop. Communication of policies for safety checks is clear and consistent whether you're checking online or calling.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Super fast service. Very reasonable price for safety check! Was in and out in less than 7 minutes. It was a state holiday and middle of the month, so it may have been busier at the end of the month and a non-holiday. Mahalo Robert!

Easy and the guy was really nice. Quick and thorough. They were actually there when I showed up for my safety check, unlike the guy at Kihei Auto center who is never there and charges the wrong price. Go here for your safety check.

AVOID. This man threw my license plate against my newly painted dashboard, and chipped the paint -- then yelled at me for five minutes in front of all his customers about how he 'doesn't have time to deal with me'. He was extremely rude, and so rushed that he was rough with every vehicle he worked on. I get that you're busy, but there is no need to speed around and damage anyone's property. I asked him politely that if I thought I would fail my safety, that I should just wait until later to do it -- he insisted I would be okay, and then lashed out at me when I didn't pass. (I have a classic vehicle and knew there may be some issues, as I had just gotten it out of the shop after a year and a half).Moral of the stiry: There are many other, very decent people to deal with and get your safety from -- don't go here!

Do not go here! This guy is not good people, avoid if at all possible. This guy was really rough with my car and broke the latch on the hood (popped it and then started yanking on it). He initially tried to help me fix it, then when he couldn't immediately fix it, he started claiming that it was already broken when I got there (it wasn't). I said you broke it, it was a mistake please just help me fix it. He said I was just trying to get him to pass me through inspection with a broken hood. He immediately got defensive and told me too many people were waiting and I should go. I asked him to fix the hood first and he said I should call the cops but otherwise to get out of the garage. I think accidents happen and I have an older car, but I was really disappointed this guy would not own his mistake and fix it. Also, as I was walking out he slammed my hood shut and now it will not pop up at all when I hit the unlatch button. This guy is not good people, avoid if at all possible.

The owner is AMAZING! Quick, courteous, inexpensive and knowledgeable. Plus if you just need to swing in for a safety check you dont need an appointment. I wouldn't go any place else.

I took my Tesla Model 3 in for its safety check. He asked for the fob, but it doesn't have a fob. My phone is the key, which he didn't know. I walked to the car with him so that he could open and drive it. He didn't know how to open the door. When he managed to get in he asked if there was a push-button start. (There's not! Which he didn't know.) So I said "If you don't know how to drive the car I'd rather you let me drive it in." Last year he did let me drive the car in, but this time he said No. he said his insurance would not cover my driving into the garage, and he would not know if it was safe unless he drove it. So I said, "Okay, drive it in." But by then he'd gotten out of the car and said "I can't help you. Find somebody else!" I apologized and he just grumbled and walked away. I had to chase him back inside to retrieve my registration and insurance card. I apologized again and he just grumbled.

Rude! Went in for a safety inspection. Couldn't get a few questions answered without completely rude responses. Waste of time. Read the responses to negative reviews and you will see how condescending he is...

Never thought this place was that easy to find. Right up Ohukai on the right. Look for his safety check sign on the main road. Great service, fast and easy. He does it all quick.
