I m an owner of a tow truck company and this is the Tow truck company that myself and other tow truck companies owners call when they need their tow truck s or personal vehicles TOWED .! They came out in the middle of the night/morning and towed my friend who also owns a tow truck company when his Tow truck needed a Tow. Excellent service and beautiful people that run it Mahalo s to the office workers, drivers and Ken !!! Mahalo s

Car was towed by HPD on a Thursday night, Friday morning both my insurance agent and I called to have the vehicle released. We were told on 5 occasions that they didn't have my car. I called HPD, who was also confused because they called kens themselves. Its confirmed with the police report that they did in fact tow my car. They magically found it, 15mins prior to closing on Friday. By Monday the fees were up to $700+. The lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. Argued with me back and forth that I shouldn't have my car released to the insurance. She gave me the impression that whoever moves the car from the insurance company may take things from my car. The truth is They just want you to pay extra storage fees. You cant find my car and when you do, you're extremely rude!

My car was impounded and honestly I thought I was going to have a horrible experience because of the reviews I had read. I was charged less than I've ever seen per day for storage and they were very friendly. They gave me a discount because I couldn't pick it up for a few days due to the holidays. I didn't have the proper ID on me, but they let me use my college ID as long as a licensed driver could drive it home. All my belongs were still there, no damage had been done to my car. Everything was quick and amazing. I appreciate their service.

Ken's picked up my motorcycle after I was in an accident. They refused to return any phone calls I made in an attempt to get the bike delivered back to me. My experience with the driver picking up my car after the accident was 5 star but after that it quickly went to a zero. We went the day after the tow to collect our belongings from the car. Only one person was allowed in the yard and was with a chaperone the entire time.This was ok but kinda weird.Then I wanted a auto body shop to come look at my vehicle for an estimate and they said "NO!"Since all the auto body shops were full and had no space for my car, my insurance company wanted to tow my car to my house until a space opened up for repair. This was understandable to avoid more storage fees. Many phone calls were made from myself, State Farm claims and my State Farm agent to arrange a day to tow it to my house. All of these calls were hung up on by Kens towing. After many phone calls over a few days time, they agreed to tow it to my house. The driver would not drive his truck with my car up my long driveway because he was afraid he would not be able to turn around. I have had several other tow company's bring up cars with no problems at all! He backed my car off the trailer in the street. My car had a flat tire from the accident and he drove it up my long driveway on the flat tire. I dont know yet if the wheel is damaged. The front of my car was very damaged including my bent, twisted and crumpled front license plate. I can't even imagine how this happened!My experience of them was rude, NOT helpful in any way and completely unprofessional.

They arrived at the time they said they would be there, with the right equipment (I have an AWD car and was not sure if they would have the drive-on truck as opposed to the one that pulls the car on two wheels), and treated me with both professionalism and aloha. The first body shop I asked them to go to could not take the car since it had more damage than we originally thought, and they were willing to take it back to their place and store it briefly while we decided on another shop. At at time when I was very upset about my accident, it was comforting to have understanding, flexible, and great service.

We waited for a replacement rental car for well over 3 hours because Ken s towing never dispatched a driver to the location. The woman who called me never introduced herself or her relation to the company, said that she was confused, and hung up. We talked to the supervisor and wasn t offered any better resolution than to continue to wait another 1-2 hours. The supervisor, Cynthia, lacked professionalism and told me let me stop you right there as I was explaining that noOne canceled the order. The company also tried to accuse me of canceling my order for my replacement card which was not true. After that, they tried to say the rental car company canceled the order which also wasn t true because the rental car company called me when the car was supposed to be dropped off. When I told them the car hadn t been dropped off they are the ones who pushed to make it right. Terrible experience.

Good people and fast service. The lady who came to help me out was super helpful and very friendly, we worked together to maneuver and 800 lb Victory high ball onto the back of her truck and it was a great experience. Thanks for making a rough situation a little bit better!

I believe this is a courpt company, they will rob you. Cost me $280 just to get belongings from wrecked car that they where going to make a lot of money from parts with. My friends car was towed by tgem also and they would not let me 8n 5ge 6ard to as his mechanic to make sure it would strsrt. All about ripping iff customerService: Local hauling

Rude, discourteous, untruthful and argumentative are just the very first things that come to mind. I was involved in a serious rear ended. Collision. I was not allowed to retrieve my eye glasses , medication and valuables until I received permission from my insurance company to see the car! Of course, that was a lie, they want to be paid for the tow and their nonsense was an excuse to be paid.. Do not trust these people, they are like greedy pigs at a TroughService: Car towing

Too big to be bothered showing up for you. Just because a car isn't broke down in the road doesn't mean it's not important. Had an appointment 3 days in a row and they never show up, don't bother calling until an hour later. Never mind that I have to take off work to meet them. I am still waiting, now they say it will be 2 more days. I guess if you're not calling from the county or state with their overpadded government contracts they can't be bothered.

Front customer service and towing driver were excellent very polite and they provided the service professionally with very reasonable price. I called other 5 companies which I don't want to name it here did not bother to answer the phone or return the call when u are in desperate need. Sadly this is one of the biggest salvage yards around, its too bad they are crooked. I bought a full 5.4L Engine to replace my 4.6L, We knew there was a chance it would not fit but Kens Towing offered a 10 day FULL money back guarantee, approved by the owner, in case it did not fit. 5 days after purchasing the engine I returned it, due to it not fitting, when I ask for my refund I am told there will now be a $150 "labor" fee and if i grumble about it they will not even except the return. I continued to wait 4 hours for my $300 refund. The final receipt I received stated a $150 "Shelf Fee". Moral of the story is, Don't Trust Them! If the $150 labor fee would have been agreed on before purchasing the engine I would have never bought the engine. The owner lied and cheated me and I will NEVER do business with them again. I suggest video recording on all deals if you decide to buy from here.

Towed for accident. Stuff missing from my car.got signs up say not responsible for theft, won't let you retrieve belongings out of car when they have it. Pretty nasty. They will hold your things hostage for payment.Service: Local haulingService: Local hauling

They towed my uncle truck all the way to their shop in Hilo even though my uncle was only a driveway away from where he got stuck because he was drunk. Then the next day when my uncle calls about his truck they tell him that can't find it in the mess of cars they have . and every day they supposedly tell him "it's lost" they are charging him $25 a day . 15 days later they call to tell him they found his vehicle and that he must pay $375 to pick it up. I laughed and told him I going call and get it straightened out. It's kens towings responsibility to keep track of their inventory of vehicles it was their fault for misplacing my uncles truck . my uncle only had to pay $25 tuo pick his truck up. Don't let them cheat you or lie to you. To me they rip off their customers more then one person I know has had all bad experiences. To me RYANS TOWKNG IS NUMBER ONE!!

Just drove a friend over from Kona to pick up an engine from Kenny (the owners son) , and possibly one for myself , but after multiple attempts to contact him , he didn t answer calls or texts !!! Waste of time !!!! BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!
