Went there today with having a license plate issue and was running out of ideas. Shane Hew Len helped us out. Felt bad because he's in dress pants and was trying to help us and had to kneel down and got dirty. It meant a lot to us. I had an idea but needed help doing it. My husband who is still recovering from colon surgery. Having stage two cancers limits some of his abilities for now. We were so thankful that someone had an idea and could execute it. Thank you so much Shane.

I've used this location a couple of times now, unfortunately not for anything major so I can't say whether or not the staff will be a big help with your actual auto parts needs. As far as getting stuff for you car or truck they have plenty of over the counter stuff readily available to purchase. I'll just have to update this in the future once I actually need some expert help with parts. As for now, plenty of parking and pretty much anything you need.

Worst customer service on 01/17/2024 around 6:16pm. When I asked for help finding the size of the tire of my car, employee said no, he is not an expert. A customer helped me!

Jordan J and Ethan came in clutch today. Dead battery. The other guys were under staffed and couldn t help me. Went to Auto Zone Kapolei and Jordan J came through! We did a diagnostic on my. After and with the help of Ethan I was out in no time. Highly recommend Auto Zone !! Thank you!!

Montana was awesome! Very friendly and helpful. Needed a new battery and the staff was able to help us out in no time. Montana also helped install our new battery. Will definitely be shopping here for all our car needs.

Aloha store manager,I m writing this letter just wanted to thank your company and the excellent service provided by your delightful employee, Jonah Brown. I just want you to know how much I appreciate the excellent service Jonah provided on past Thursday.At 12:30 pm On June 30, 2022, I was under pressure to get my car safety checked for the last-minute registration renewal before 4 pm. However, I noticed both brake lights of my car were out. I was rushing to AutoZone Kapolei to buy the light bulbs. The young man, Jonah Brown was working at that time. I desperately asking Jonah whether the light bulb replacement service is available at AutoZone. The answer was No . However, after Jonah learned that I do not know how and have no one to replace my light bulbs, without hesitation, Jonah took the extra mile to help me to replace the light bulbs. I was so relieved that I was able to get my car safety check passed and renewed my car registration on time. The work seemed just a small task to Jonah but meant a lot to me. The assistance Jonah provided is sincerely appreciated.Jonah such a kind, helpful and friendly gentleman will bring your company more customers and business. From my experience, I highly recommend your company provide those services to your customers. Buyer Beware! When ordering parts..We ordered parts for my vehicle, at the time of purchase they said it'll be in on Monday at 430pm. I just called and they said it's still on the mainland. I had scheduled a mechanic to install the parts because Autozone Kapolei said it'll be in on Monday. Had I known it was going to be delayed, I would've ordered from another company.Update!!! Called this morning Tuesday, Montana answers and looked up my order and said part is on island call back at 12pm because FedEx is delivering it, i physically went in to the store and now she's saying 4-5 business days! Wth right!? Talked to Lei the Manager (Kapolei) and she tells me the order was canceled this morning and someone tried to call me this morning. Listen I work on my phone no one called! Now the part is expected on Feb 9 because they reordered the part today. BUYER BEWARE.

Stopped by cause my 15 amp fuse on my Tahoe blew. Brought the offending fuse in question in with me to buy a replacement. Good I did. The associate behind the counter told me that he just had another customer that had a vehicle just like mine buy the wrong fuse so he happily helped me find the correct one. If I could tip the man I would ve, but the best I can do is simply recommend the place he works at.

Had a dead battery by target. Talked to May and she was great. People like her are some of the reason I moved back to Hawaii from the mainland. She even installed the new battery for me. Thanks may God bless you allways.

Refused to take my return of an item. They attempted to lie saying it was a law saying they couldn't. Then they showed me their policy where they state "may refuse refund if product has been used" it was a Innova 5160 btw.

I used to be a die-hard AutoZone customer and would shop there first before anywhere else. But over the years I've come to find they're probably the worst auto store out there. This store is no exception.The employees don't seem to care at all. They don't ask if you need anything unless you approach them first. They don't even ask if you're an AutoZone rewards member 9/10 times so earning rewards here is nearly impossible. The managers are even worse than the employees and make it seem like having customers is a burden.The store is never in stock. For example today, I went to go buy a fuse tap. 80% of the fuses on the rack were sold out and they only had one fuse tap in stock (which was frustrating because I needed two). They never seem to have what you need in stock.Honestly, if the nearest O'Reilly wasn't all the way in Waipahu, I would never shop here. I would still rather make the 20 minute drive to O'Reilly than the 5 minute drive here, because I know I'll have much better service and actually be able to find what I need.

What's the point of having a sign requiring customers to wear a mask in store if they're not going to enforce it? I and several people I know who could be considered medically exempt still wear our masks. That is no excuse.The place is spacious, though, so that's nice. The selection of goods is a little limited, though.

I had to replace my wiper blades on our 2006 Town and Country Van. First we replaced and it clasp together, so we took it to the dealership to replace it well it happened again. So we went to Goodyear and they replaced it well guess what its pouring hard rain and dark my husband on his way to work and it happened again only thing worst. Since we in Kapolei I waited for Auto Zone to open at 730. Went in and they greeted me very friendly explain to Hardy and he knew what I was talking about he explained to me what kind of wiper blades to get and why and he put it on. This is what customer service is all about making an upset customer coming and leaving a very happy customer. Thank you from the Ruiz's

Nice workers who are friendly and helpful. Good selection of parts but as it is Hawai'i sometimes they will be out of stock and it takes sometime to get more products. Prices are very comparable to other auto places. Place can be a pain to leave as the exit is horribly designed (not AutoZone's fault).
