Willy's Transmission provided professional and efficient service on my SAAB's transmission within the scheduled time. My car runs so much smoother now that I'm very happy with the mechanic's work. I'll come back for my next service for sure. Job well done!

I had to have a complete trans rebuild. They did a good job at a fair price and done within a week. I had a small issue after picking it up but called, brought it back and it was fixed in a few minutes. Solid local company. 3 year warranty which gives you some peace of mind. Do need to bring it in twice during that period for annual inspection and fee to maintain warranty but worth it,.Service: Transmission

A little hiccup when scheduling but otherwise good customer service. They even admitted the mistake was probably something that they wouldn t be able to get money for but had to refer me back to servco to reprogram. Grateful that they didn t lead me on and waste my money. Would definitely go back to them for any transmission problems.

Great Service! They kept me in the loop as I knew my car would take a bit longer for parts, also since it is a manual transmission. They needed to get a specialist from the dealership as well to take a look which thankfully they didn't tell me that I needed to take it to the dealer. They quoted me a price and after all was said and done it was the quoted price plus tax. I know my car specifically was a pain and not fun to fix but they did an amazing job. My clutch is way easy, the pickup I didn't realize was supposed to be this good. All together my car is running like it should be now much quieter, a smoother ride, and super responsive! Thank you for the hard work with this one! Highly recommend for service, will continue to bring my vehicles here for the big jobs!

Willy's came highly recommended from a friend of mine. The key word was "trust." If you're not a car person like me, there is always a fear of being taken advantage of. That being said, my cousin looked at my car before I took it in, and diagnosed it, but realized it was more complicated than he was comfortable with repairing, When I took it to Walden, his diagnosis was exactly what my cousin had found and his rate was actually on the lower end of what my cousin estimated it at. In this world, having an honest business to work with is worth it's weight in gold. They did the job quickly as well. I would not hesitate to recommend them again,

Took my car to check out my transmission, it needed to be rebuilt. They quoted me a fair price and gave me a discount. I paid for the parts to be ordered it, and within 5 days parts came in. Scheduled for the car to be worked on for 5 to 6 days. Took it in on Tuesday and by Friday afternoon it was completed. Im very satisfied with their workmanship and timing to complete the job.I would highly recommend this transmission shop!

After hearing from another shop that I needed $3000 of work done to my car, I went to Willy s for a second opinion. They told me that the parts the other place said I needed replaced were fine and I left with a much smaller bill. My air conditioning is still blowing super cold a month later and I will definitely bring my cars back to Willy s in the future. Mahalo for taking care of my car!Service: Air conditioning

5 stars for Willy's. My AC fan motor was on the fritz so I initially took my truck into a different shop around the corner to have it looked at. That shop told me they'd have the pull the dash off and do all sorts of work to fix it and quoted me around $2500. This sounded absurd to me so I took my truck to Willy's to get another opinion. Willy's identified the problem with the fan motor and wiring harness and had the entire thing fixed in a few hours and for $300. Much much much mahalos for a job well done, Willy's.** Had a follow up with Willy's for a wonky electrical part in the AC system. They identified the issue, ordered the required parts, and kept me informed on the shipping date for the part. As soon as the part came in they got me scheduled and quickly fixed the issue. After all of that, I was only charged for the parts and not for the labor because they felt they should have caught that the part was going wonky during my first visit and took care of it then. This shop and it's team are top notch for sure.Service: Air conditioning

This is the BEST shop to get the job done! The most honest technicians on this island!My 2009 Nissan frontier Pro 4 had problems. Service light came on at about 98,000 miles. Went to WINDWARD NISSAN! What a rip off! Go to WILLY'S!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU WALDON! You solved my problem in a day. Willy's Transmission & Air Conditioning is a top-tier business for auto services, in my opinion. I took my 2016 VW Golf in to get a diagnostic for my engine light (assuming it was transmission related). I was able to get an appointment within a week (every other place around was ATLEAST a month wait!). Long story short, they were very thorough with the diagnostic, and ultimately straight up told me they couldn't figure out what the issue was with my check engine light. That kind of honesty is so refreshing when it comes to auto repair, as they easily could have lied and "fixed" it. They were also very honest when explaining they didn't have much experience with working on Volkswagen's, which is pretty standard with shops out here. Even though I wasn't able to get the car fixed, I would 100% recommend Willy's to anyone who needs fair-priced and honest service. The lady I was in communication with at the front desk the whole week was very nice as well. 10/10Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I took our vehicle in because three other shops were unable to properly diagnose and fix the issue. I thought it must be a transmission problem, so I took it to Willy s. They worked around my availability, and properly diagnosed and fixed the problem (new front axles). I highly recommend Willy s, and I ll be a return customer if I have future issues that I can fix on my own. Or, more realistically, I ll take the things that I break to Willy s for them to fix.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair

I ve been using Willy s for my van/truck repairs for the past couple of years and have been very satisfied with the service they provide. Walden is great, and the office staff and mechanics/techs I have met have been friendly. In the past, I ve found it hard to find a mechanic/repair shop I could trust. I took my car (2004 Mazda 3, 154k miles) in for diagnostic service on my transmission.Some history:It was a cheap car that I had just bought 2 months ago. Before buying it, I scanned it with my OBD tool with no codes and was hoping to use it for a couple of years since I only drive about 5k miles a year since retiring.It drive okay for the first few weeks but then the transmission started slipping and would have a hard time getting into drive (reverse was fine).The "check engine" light finally came on and it actually threw up a few codes (finally) so I changed the transmission fluid, filter and even several of the shift solenoids that the codes indicated, but that didn't fix it.I called a mobile mechanic and he recommended Willy's straight off so I called and made an appt.I dropped it off and after several hours got a call saying that the transmission needed a full rebuild, but they wouldn't recommend it. Even if they rebuilt it ($3,300 - $3,700), the ECM might also need to be replaced but they may not be able to get the part due to the age of the car.I agreed and had the car towed back home and will try to sell it for parts.Even tho they didn't repair it, I appreciate the straightforward diagnosis (no charge), and they were even willing to hold my car there for no charge until I could get it out.If the cost of the rebuild was lower and didn't have to deal with the ECM, I might have actually had it repaired, but I appreciate their honesty.Service: Transmission

Take your car here for service. I was nervous about taking my car to a mechanics shop because of bad experiences in the past elsewhere. I thought my Jeep needed a transmission fluid flush. Turns out it did not. They told me what was actually wrong and then did not charge me. You can't find this level of honesty and service anymore. BTW, there service fees were very reasonable to begin with. The best shop hands down.Service: Transmission

They were very efficient at rebuilding our transmission on our work van. First they checked it all out to make sure they knew what had to be done. Then let me know how much it would cost and about when it would be ready. Great communication, great value and the best warranty out of all the transmission places I checked with. Will definitely be giving them our business for any transmission work in the future!Services: Transmission, Oil change

Super professional and courteous! Took my vehicle to Willy s after the transmission quit on me coming over H-3. They were great! They gave me a quote and an estimated time to complete the work and then kept me informed along the way. They were also very quick and had my car back on the road fast. Friendly service and got my vehicle in quickly for an estimate. Unfortunately the repairs required were more than we wanted to put into the vehicle. I will certainly contact Willys for future repairs on our daily driver.
