I cannot say enough good things about Sam. He did an awesome job replacing my trailer axle and springs all at a fair price. He is an all around great guy and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs their trailer repaired.

There are some before and after pictures! Sam exceeded any of our expectations! We have a modified trailer to haul around our canoes for our club. He replaced all the brackets, springs, hubs, did rust treatment, and did all we needed to get our trailer up and running! If you need help with your trailer, he is the guy to call. He was fast, good customer service, local, and really made sure we got what we needed done and then some! Thanks Sam for getting this trailer done!

I have a vintage horse trailer bar that I converted to a mobile bar and Sam helped me with the electric and with replacing lights in my trailer, he made the wiring aesthetically pleasing and functional. I went back to him twice for help with maintenance. I am happy to have someone for the long run that I can count on! Thank you Sam! You are super nice and helpful!

I am so glad I found this man to help me fix my trailer. His work ethic and craftsmanship is above and beyond.Recently I brought a trailer that was made for a zodiac and hope that I would be able to convert it into something for a 13 1/2 foot Boston whaler. Without ever even seeing the boat he took some measurements and when it was time to pick it up The boat fit like a glove. His attention to detail shows that he is a true master of his craft and looked up to an appreciated by the community for his work. Thank you Sam I will be back.

Sam is a great guy! Fast, personable, and he delivers a great value. I lost a bearing and I when it came apart it damaged the spindle. We waited 3 months for parts and the parts guy messed up the order (not Sam) and the parts were incorrect. This was not Sam s fault. Sam made up for the error even though it was not his mistake.He came out practically the next day and did the work in great time. I m a GC. I deal with subcontractors constantly. If trailers were something my company used, I would only use Sam.To sum it up. I highly recommend Trailers by Sam. I will only ever use him from now on. I know what a good technicians work looks like, and this is it 100%.

Sam's work was AMAZING, Highly recommend him to do any work on your trailer! He's an honest stand up guy. Easy to work with and He comes to you!! His pricing is honest and very fair. I feel like I have a brand new trailer now! Mahalo Sam!

Sam takes personal ownership of the work he does. He was quick to help me from the beginning when my trailer wheels were seized and he had to come take apart the hubs to get them turning.He got me a full repair quote the next day to replace my rusted out brakes, replace an axle, fix lights, and replace carpet on the trailer bunks to name a few things he did.He did a fantastic job and was able to work on an expedited schedule because of my tight timeline. I 100% recommend Trailers By Sam for any trailer repair.

I needed a repair to my trailer done quickly to meet a time constraint. I called Sam and he was able to adjust his schedule to get out to my house at the end of a long day. He got the wheel bearing replaced before dark. It was a kind gesture on his part to accommodate my urgent need, and I truly appreciate his joyful willingness. Great customer oriented attitude and a top notch repair as well.

It was great working with Sam. Professional and knowledgeable. I had a boat trailer that hadn't been serviced in years also sat in storage for 3 years. I needed my bearings repacked but also wanted him to check all the mechanical and moving parts to make sure it was in working order. The prices was reasonable and the best part is he came to my house to work on it. I won't call anyone else when my trailer needs services again.

If I could give 10 Stars I would! The level of customer service and personal interest given is unbelievable. Far before I was even a paying customer I was given thoughtful review, assessment, and advice. 100% if you have a trailer this is the guy you should be calling. The work is exceptional, and the prices are super reasonable. That's the summary.The long story is:I bought a boat with an old trailer. They let me take the trailer a few days early to get a rusty tongue replaced but I had a tight deadline to get the boat out of their slip. I called Sam and he gave me multiple options even taking my calls after hours. I replaced the tongue myself because of the time constraints. Picked up the boat and 5 minutes out of the harbor a bearing broke. Sam not only responded to my call gave my mobile mechanic some extra tips and THEN DROVE AROUND LOOKING FOR ME WITH SOME EXTRA PARTS HE THOUGHT MIGHT HELP. I was not even a customer yet!!!! I was then able to set up a real appointment with him to fix everything else this old trailer needs and hes taken call after call from me and even texted me to make sure I got home safely.One of the best small business owners I have EVER dealt with. Professional, friendly, honest, I don't know what more I could ask for.

The axle on my 31-year-old EZ Loader was rusting through where it sits on the springs. Sam installed a new solid chromoly steel axle, hubs, and bearings. Great personal service, quality materials, clean installation, and a fair price. Thank you, Sam!

Sam is great! He responds quickly to any inquiry. He helped us replace the electronic harness our trailer. Within a few days of contacting him he was at our house to do the work. He did the job efficiently and professionally. He is very knowledgable and doesn't hesitate to share what he knows. Every now and then you come across a craftsman that embraces his skill and profession. Sam, is one of those people. His ability to trouble shoot, repair and improvise on anything trailer is close to magical. I recommend him with the highest level of confidence. His pricing,communication and punctuality are legend. My trailer needed much love after being neglected for over a decade. He basically rebuilt the entire wheel assembly, did custom work to my wheel wells and got all my wiring fixed in a day. He also performed a safety check on the entire rig and replaced bolts that had rusted thru, all on his own accord. Sam, is the man. Support local.

Just wanted to mention that I had a very good experience with Sam helping me with my rebuild trailer. He was very punctual, knew his stuff and was very pleasant to work with. He didn t jack you around and his prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

My old trailer cracked and was beyond repair not safe to drive to Windward Boats to transfer my Whaler to a new trailer. Then I found Sam, who was able to jury-rig it so I could safely drive it one time. Much appreciated Sam!

Brought Sam my trailer that needed a lot of work. Thought the trailer was likely beyond repair. Sam provided solutions to re-build it in a way that was structurally sound and safe to use. Cost was very reasonable - especially compared to the cost of a new trailer. Boat owners are very fortunate to have Sam for just about any trailer need. Highly recommend! Sam is a straight shooter who offers a transparent and honest service at a very competitive price. Sam understood my needs and completed what I asked in an efficient manner with no miss communication, he even went above what I asked and serviced my trailer with little adjustments to the trailer jack which was not in the initial agreement. Sam did an outstanding job in replacing my surge brakes that had deteriorated. He was able to fit me in on short notice on a date that worked with my schedule. Sam was able to complete the brake replacement in one day for a cost matching his estimate. He a top notch technician and very personable. I highly recommend his services.

My boat trailer failed its safety check for several various reasons, hardware and electrical. Sam came out the next day and fixed everything and my trailer is working like brand new. He also didn t try to price gouge me and was reasonable with his material and labor prices. I m only going to use him from now on.

Sam is the MAN! After shipping our boat from Maine to Honolulu, our boat trailer arrived with a blown tire which in turn caused our bearings to lock and break and our brake lines to jiggle loose. Sam was the first contact I could find that offered mobile repair.His customer service, prices, attention to detail, reliability and the aloha he provides is top notch. He met with me the day after he had traveled half way around the world and provided nothing but aloha and an honest quote. We did have a delay with the parts ordering (by NO fault of Sam's) but he made sure to keep me constantly updated on the status.I highly recommend Sam for all of your trailer repair needs. Not only will he now be our go to guy for any and all repairs, we consider him apart of our Ohana. Thank you Sam for the amazing customer service and great work getting our trailer back to working condition. See you at the Sandbar!

Sam is awesome! He is one of the most supportive and responsive people I've run into. His availability is tremendous! Within a day, he helped me out when my hub was all messed up. He also came down to the dock to make adjustments to my brand new trailer he put together. I cannot say enough about his customer service. Will definitely continue to call him when I need help. Aloha everyone,I came across Sam's number by way of a friend.....I had two trailers that needed some work. I used to take my Trailer(s) to another place prior to finding Sam....now I realize it was a real blessing in disguise when I found out that the other place wasn't repairing trailers anymore.In terms in providing services to the small niche Hawaii community of boat and trailer owners....Sam is by far, the MOST PROFESSIONAL, the MOST CUSTOMER CENTERED, and the MOST AFFORDABLE trailer guy on the island, HANDS DOWN. He was responsive, gave me the straight repair costs, was always available to take my call or text when I had a question, and repaired my trailers quickly and efficiently without missing a beat. He's that good. I won't take my trailers anywhere else from here on out.No kidding, Sam is the real deal....if you need work on your trailer....big or small....Sam is your guy.

We had an inoperable trailer for well over a year.After trying to troubleshoot it and repair it ourselves, we reached out to Sam and he replied promptly and gave us quick assessments throughout our interactions, quotes and expected time for repair. He was able to come to our place of business and work on the trailer on site.We are extremely appreciative of his timeliness and professionalism and will be referring him at every opportunity available. Found Sam as a referral from a local shop to swap out the rusted bunk brackets and the rear led strip light on my trailer. After just a few texts, we set up a time that the trailer would be available for him. I was out on the bay for no more than an hour or two when I received the text that the trailer was all finished! When I returned, it was clear that he had done an excellent job, using high quality parts. I highly recommend him for your trailer needs. Excellent communication, quality work, and overall just a real stand up guy.

Sam is now my go-to-guy for trailers. Had a 26ft Glacier Bay on an EZ loader stranded at Ala Wai Boat Ramp with one of the tires falling off. The wheel bearing and hub were completely shot. An emergency call to Sam yielded a response (best to use text) within an hour. Sam arrived about an hour later after picking up a replacement hub. In short order, the wheel hub was completely replaced and cleaned up. I was on my way within about 3 hours of my emergency call. Could not ask for more professional service. Reasonable rates as well!
