These guys are great. I have used them a few times and each time have left with a feeling of being taken care of. Most recently I had a simple 'nail in the tire' flat tire situation shortly after purchasing tires from them. I was not in town and went to a competitor in neighboring city. They dismissed the issue, saying it couldn't be fixed and a new tire would be needed. After calling Rick, he told me to bring it in and as soon as I got there, got me in and personally fixed it himself within literally minutes. I have nothing but great things to say about these guys!! Mahalo for amazing service and expertise.

This was my first time taking my car here and I am so glad I did! They were friendly and professional and very helpful. Having had a different mechanic shop be dishonest with me before, I was nervous to take it in, but they 100% were fair and honest. I had a long list of things I wanted checked out and they easily could have taken advantage of that, saying I needed a lot of work done. But I ended up only needing one thing fixed and it was simple and thankfully not too expensive. My car is running great. I definitely will continue to go here and I recommend them.

This is the place! Ricky and his team are great. They give fair prices and do excellent work. They charged us $500 for a job that another mechanic had charged us $900 for, and saved us another $2k by properly identifying the problem that another mechanic completely misdiagnosed. It's been 3 months now and the car is still running great thanks to Ricky and his team.Bottom line: If you want your car properly fixed/maintained at fair prices, this is your place.

The owner and staff are so awesome! They really care. They live in this community and they re working with/for their neighbors. Safety inspections are quick and easy; i prefer to make an appointment but they ll take walk-in. This is the #1 place I trust with my car, which has over 100,000 miles.

Dropped off car in the morning for a check engine light issue. Called me in the afternoon saying car ready for pick up. I asked how much am I looking to pay. The lady on the phone just instructed me to come in and the technician will explain. Never a good sign. When I came to pick up our car, I was told that damaged gas cap was causing the check engine light being on. They fixed the problem with no charge! What a great group of guys and gals! Definitely coming back for future vehicle maintenance needs. Mahalo Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great experience with Kaneohe Auto Care! Professional guys, I came in for my AC not working properly and I thought I had gone through it all. 5 min they called me after dropping it off and fixed my issue I couldn t solve. Thanks guys!

They are dishonest. I don't mind being charged for extra services as long as they fix the issue. I brought my van in because the A/C stopped blowing cold air. Was told by the mechanic there was a leak and they were going to replace the compressor as well as deal with the leak. (I know they were upcharging me for unnecessary work but I just wanted it taken care of).Fast forward one month later and the A/C doesn't work again. I take it back to Kaneohe Auto Care to give them the chance to make it right and they say there's a leak and they are going to charge me because it's not covered under warranty. I guess their warranty doesn't cover doing shoddy work (or not doing the work in the first place). They're scamming their customers by doing unnecessary work and have the audacity to ask for more money if you want them to fix their mistake. Kaneohe Auto Care is simply Outstanding; Rick and his team of professionals do High Quality work at very reasonable prices! Rick is honest and trustworthy; I appreciate that after he evaluates the problem he offers suggestions as the best way to proceed. Give them a call and schedule an appointment; today my car was in for an oil change and safety check, despite the shop being busy I was in and out in no time. I like that there is seating both inside and outside if you decide to wait; with Covid the outside seating is great!I was impressed that the office area was decorated for Halloween; even had a plastic pumpkin where you can take a treat! Rick and his team have been part of our Kaneohe community for two decades; he has the knowledge and experience, but best of all ... he treats you like family.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

So happy with my experience here. After an experience with a different shop that kept my Jeep a week and a half for a simple fix, I couldn't believe that Kaneohe Auto Care did my repair in about four hours, even when they had to order a part from town! Really great service and really great staff. Two thumbs up.

I brought my car in because the check engine light came on. After examining my car the technician told me that it would cost me over $3000 to fix the transmission on my car and it had other things wrong with it as well. They advise me that it is not worth it for me to fix the car with all the existing problem and that it's a money pit. On top of their advise they did not charge me for the diagnosis much to my surprise. Honesty from an auto repair shop is hard to come by these days and for this very reason I would go back there to have my car fixed. I will definitely recommend this place . I had my safety check done at this business. I didn't have to wait, took my vehicle right in. Safety check inspector, Elaina was very professional , knowledgeable of her job and polite. I would recommend this place to have your safety check done. Excellent Service!

My check engine light had been turning on and off for the past couple months. At first it would turn on for a day or two and then turn off, and wouldn t turn back on for a month. Lately it had been turning on for a few days, turn off for a day, and then back on, and my engine wouldn t start right away. Midas didn t have any available openings and in hindsight I m glad because it led me to Kaneohe Auto Care. I brought my car in to be diagnosed and received a call with a diagnosis within about an hour. Bad battery! Very thankful for Ricky and his expertise. He was very patient with me and explained everything in a way that I would understand. Highly recommend this place!

Super service with a smile! I went there to try & make an appoinment for a Safety Check. Lucky for me, someone was just finished & she was kind enough to ask me if I'd like to be next! So, I waited & drove into the open space & stayed in the car to assist her; as she asked me to do all tasks to check if my car was in working order! I was done in record time & so happy to pass inspection, too!

This place is absolutely fantastic. I can't recommend enough. They have really done am amazing job installing seatbelts, upgrading mirrors on my Jeep, and even doing diagnostic checks. They are honest and more than fair with pricing. Brought my car here for about a year now, and tell all my friends in the area to do the same. Called for a safety inspection. You have to make an appointment, Once you get there, the inspection is very fast. They are busy but they are also very professional. Thank you for the great service.

I came here because I saw they had good reviews. And I m glad I came here. They did not disappoint. Got right to the problem and fixed it. 2010 Chrysler oil leak. And very reasonably priced if you ask me. Everybody was friendly and very personable.Mahalo nui.

Great service, just need to set up an appointment and drive right in. Appointments may be a little tight. but we'll worth the wait. Again the service was quick and pleasant. Will be going back if and when I'm in need of their services.

Again amazing experience with these guys! Was quoted an insane amount to maybe fix the problem at the vw dealer and they had me in an out in a day for a fraction of the cost! So grateful for these guys!

I just needed a state safety inspection and this place was great! Very fast, energetic, and happy to help!Every other shop in the area was rude, and talked about making an appointment, on average a day or two out.Probably because they do not make fist fulls of money off of them, this shop has the best customer service I have ever seen!They even said I could bug them on their lunch break, which I ended up doing, in the rain. And still I could not shake them! At all!Happy to bring my car back there if I'm in the area, and would make the drive for their customer service alone!A really great job!Their small lot sucks but hardly their fault, and they still conduct business very well!
