I was referred to them by a coworker who is close friends with one of the Big Bosses there.I remember going there to buy a 7-year-old used German car and the Manager telling me, It is AS IS! Then being a grown man, I made the decision to proceed with the purchase. They even had me sign 3 different forms acknowledging that I was aware the car was AS IS.A month later my battery died, but its not like a car dealership or anyone without super natural powers can predict that a battery is going to die in a month.I may have even left the lights on overnight!I had a few issues but then I remembered I had agreed to buy the car as is. So, I just dealt with it. I guess next time I decide to buy a 7-year-old used German car, I will think twice! In short, I guess I could be a jerk and write bad reviews but overall they were great! The Big Boss Eric Hofer is really awesome too!

Had a great experience with Brian at VIM. If you want a salesperson with no pressure he s your guy. I watched prices on vehicles for a couple months before purchasing this vehicle. Prices are competitive and they have a bunch of vehicles. The gentleman in finance and the ladies footwear are also an added bonus. If you want to experience some aloha go check out their Ohana.

Service department is the worst. I ve dealt with them for over ten years but I m finally done since my warranty will expire this year. I brought my f-250 in for a safety check as I ve done every time needed for registration. Noah tells me I need an exemption because it s 10,000 gvw which I never needed, and I bought it in 2019. Even after I checked and verified it s over 10,001 pounds. Finally he says they might be able to do it, but not sure if the system will allow Then after long debates about how he never had a record of safety, which blows me away. Ultimately they refused to safety my truck saying my name isn t on the insurance card. Even though I brought it for a safety in November and there was a n ink error from the dmv kiosks that was the problem then. Overall, I ve wasted too much time for a basic safety inspection. It s unfortunate they lost another customer.

Aloha to whom ever may read this review.I recently purchased a used 2018 Audi A3 from Valley Isle Motors on February 18th 2024. First and foremost, I understand that a used vehicle will not be pristine (that's a given). However, a few issues have come up with the vehicle that I fully expected Valley Isle to step up and assist me in repairing.#1) The day I purchased the vehicle was a bright sunny 82 degree day. Upon the visual inspection of the exterior I noted a few dings here-and-there and I accepted them. What I did not notice was that the DRL's (Daytime Running Lights) were not fully illuminated, again being that it was a hot bright day everything looked fine. I only found out about a week later when I saw my vehicles reflection in a store front (at night) to my surprise.I proceeded to e-mailed Alex with Valley Isle of my discovery, and after a few days he got back to me that the manager Erik Hofer, stated that he could not help me. I was very upset as new Audi headlights cost $1700+ for my model.#2) Upon visiting a gas station for my first fill up I depressed the gas tank door and it did not pop-out like is should, so I was forced to insert a key in the small separation space from the car body to get it lifted enough to open it. I couldn't believe that the gas tank door was faulty! I was not amused...# 3) Just yesterday 3/19/2024, about 30 days to the date of the purchase of the car at 6:30am (trying to go to work) I pressed my engine start button and the battery was dead!As you can imagine I was extremely upset and started to think this place just sold me a lemon...and thinking what else did they not inform me of this car... A battery should not be dead after purchasing a car a month ago, coincidence or not, that is just not right.Fast forward to today 3/20/24... I emailed Alex for an update, as I had asked Valley Isle to pay for my new battery, and Erik the owner has again refused to assist me at all. This is just bad business. It's not right. If these issues were disclosed, I would have purchased another car I was looking at, which was a BMW 330i from a private seller.DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THESE PEOPLE. BUYER BEWARE!

I am extremely pleased with Alex with Jim Falk. He listens to what we re looking for and has always kept in contact with us when it came to what we wanted. I was on the look out for a Toyota, and each time something came in, he let me know immediately. I like that I feel comfortable with him and don t feel the normal pressures you get from salesman. I highly recommend Alex M

Avoid this dealership at all costs. The GM Matt Hicks and service department are scammers. I took my truck in after Ford issued a recall on it. I read the code and it came back fitting the recall. Took it to the dealership, they kept it for over 24 hours just to read the code and tell me it doesn t fit the recall. They then charged me $280. $280 just to read a code for a recall that Ford issued. Believe the other reviews and avoid this dealership.

This review is for Rondi in sales! She s an amazing sales lady and will definitely make sure you are assisted on your vehicle purchase. I shopped salespeople at valley isle prior to proceeding to my purchase and she was the one who checks all the boxes that anyone would need while making a purchase! Just go straight to her when you re ready to purchase something and she will make it happen! Oh and Brian the sales manager definitely goes to bat with the banks and gets you a spectacular rate! Thanks again Rondi will definitely be working with you again!

Great service. Justin and Briley was really great. They really helped us get into a vehicle. After losing our car in the lahaina fire, they really pushed for us to leave with a car. I highly recommend seeing them if you need a car. They will try their hardest to get you into something before you leave. Just ask for Briley. He's the same guy. Tell em I recommend him to you

Didn t plan to buy a car today, just check out the Broncos. Briley Akina met with us and answered our questions, no pressure. I knew Briley from when he attended, and I worked at, Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui, many years ago. While we were talking story, we noticed a nearly new Mustang Mach E. We ve been looking for an EV for the past year, and this one was perfect! We walked out with it a short time later.Briley is easy to work with, was quick to get us an offer on our trade, and made us a good deal. Guyson in Finance worked quick to get us out of there too, Overall a very pleasant experience. If you need a car, new or used, ask for Briley!

This shop is honestly shady. I recently worked with a mainland dealership which only validated these feelings. They do not work together as a team and when trying to get answers, they just refer you to whoever got the commission on your sale. They sold me third party warranties for much higher amounts than direct Ford ones. Once my sale was complete the sales person dodged my calls/texts/emails. To cancel said warranty, the finance manager told me I had to track down the guy who worked there when I signed my paperwork. I would say, avoid at all cost. Buying from the mainland is a much better way to go (I recommend Gresham Ford.) Jim falk group are greedy, lazy and are only out for themselves, not their customers.

The service agent I had (Teddy) was really good. He really listened to understand what the issues were with my Ford. In any business, service, communication and follow through are everything. Unfortunately he and the other agents seem swamped, so it s on the customer to persist in contacting them and to do the follow through. The vehicle drop off and parking/parking lot is a whole situation / a circus. All workers there look stressed and so don t smile or greet anyone. Workplace environment seems very unhappy, miserable. Even though the technician/s did a good job on diagnosing the issue and servicing my vehicle, I don t see myself going back there unless I need a specific part or repair that can only be through a Ford dealership. Also, for some reason the hubcap fell off while being serviced at Ford and it was just left inside the vehicle....wow...

Over two years ago, I ordered a Ford Lightning for over here on Molokai. Did it all online and built the vehicle to be in my budget; a little over $53,000 for base model. Put down $100 when process started and when they began to build I confirmed and committed $1,000 more to process. Tracking the build and getting excited and they even sent me a picture when it rolled off the line. I was sent by Ford to Valley Isle motors to receive it and they tacked on 35% telling me they want $77,000.00 for it, since that's what they think they can get for it. Mainland sales guys trying to blame Ford for the price increases when I have the MSRP right in front of me to this day.Mainland sales team ripping off local people.Follow up: the head of sales took over two months to send me back my $1,100.00 that Ford held. Required me to call them three times to finally get my money back. I also looked at my notes and realized the mainland sales team marked the truck up more than I recalled.I recommend buying cars from Oahu if you live on Moloka i. This Jim Falk Valley Isle business is run by people who don t value repeat business, IMO.

On August 26th during the Hurricane Lane, we managed to get one of our vans knocked out by a rock flushed into to the roadway. It punched a hole into the transmission case, bend transmission mounts and caused all sorts of other minor damage in the undercarriage.Low and behold, our Transit has been sitting at Valley Isle Ford in Kahului ever since waiting for a new transmission. Mind you, this is a gearbox that goes into over 50 models between Ford and GM. We are talking thousands of these being put into new cars every day.Yet here we are, two months later, unable to even get a delivery date. Apparently, they have to build one for this van to be repaired and transmission factory is waiting for itty bitty tiny gear wheels to put it together. How utterly ridiculous. We've purchased four Transits Connect over past three years and there is no way in hell we will buy another Ford product. Yes Ford, our next van will be Mercedes Metris. Just atrocious service by Valley Isle Motors and Ford Motor Co.

Ordered a Bronco in 2021 and it arrived 2022. Was NEVER told of the additional dealer mark up. When asked, was told that all dealers do this. Not true! I called the mainland dealerships and were told they do NOT do that to their customers. I was trying to buy local and support our Maui businesses but never again. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from Jim Falk ever. I will buy from mainland and pay the shipping fee. I have told every person I know about this and most told me they feel the same and will never purchase from their dealerships either. Horrible business ethics.

My electric vehicle went into the shop the beginning of 2021 because my car stopped holding a charge. No one could figure out the problem for a month. Then they said they needed to change the big battery. I needed my car so they put in a small battery so that I could use it while they wait for the big battery to come in. Not even a month later my car turns off in the middle of me driving. So scary! So I sent it back to the shop I'm November 2021. I've called multiple times to get updates and been getting the run around. They finally said that it's been shipped or something. I even filed a claim and emailed the manager to do his part for this claim and he has never called me back. It's June 2022 and I have yet to hear anything. I'm so frustrated!

Customer service was great. I was greeted by Michelle, who was very attentive to my presence, as soon as I walked into the door. Anthony, my service adviser was courteous and made me feel cared for. He was very attentive to my needs and treated me like family.Steve in the body shop was also great to work with. He too made me feel welcomed and important. This was one of the best days i have experienced taking my car in to service at Valley Isle Ford.

Recently in for repairs and was greeted by service writer who was cordial, astute, professional, competent re: work needed on my car. He was patient and thorough in explaining my repair process and went above & beyond when I ran into some complications. I meet with the new manager, Matt, who was also helpful, attentive, and quick to address my concerns. I can confidently and sincerely recommend them in regard to customer service AND workmanship. Thank you, Valley Isle Service staff for epic customer service and help with my car!! 5* Service in every way!!

Well. I feel the price is a little to high( for to wait 5 hours to have your car taken care off). I do understand that I did not have an appointment, and did have car problem. Also, when I had to have a family member take me down to the car dealer, because there were no phone call to say my car is done.Ans yet when I did ask if every thing was taken care I was told yes it was. then I did fine out not all things was taken care off. Good thing that your sales person who did help me(Mr, James Weaver) took care of me.

Set up an appointment and took my car in so they could take care of a warranty issue for me with my battery. Took longer than I expected but no problem as long as they fix the issue, except when I got back to pick up my car it was sitting there and after a 1/2 hour I went to check on it and they told me it'd be little while longer. So I went and checked under the hood and saw that they had already finished up. I went back in and they were like, Oh they just brought the paperwork in. I think they weren't in any hurry because I didn't have to pay anything due to it being under warranty. They were cool to me I guess but seemed kind of inconvenienced to help me.Update(changing rating from 3 to 4 stars): I've been back a few times and have had oil changes, a recall issue and other minor work done. They've tried there hardest to save me money when possible which helps because like most everything on Maui prices are higher than other places I've lived with my vehicle. And James Weaver in particular takes customer service to the next level. He's always treated me fairly and done his best to help me leave satisfied.I'm leaving a 4 out of 5(and it would be 4.5 if I could) because on almost every trip the interior of my car comes back disheveled and messy(footprints on my door, dirty steering wheel, haphazardlytossing my personal items out of the way). It's not a big deal at all but I wish the mechanics would take a little bit of extra care in that area. Otherwise the work they have done for me has been outstanding.

have to say it was the best car buying experience I have ever had! It was the exact opposite of my experience there last time. The salesman Brian was very knowledgeable and didn't give me the usual sales routine. He presented me numbers and when I said they were too much the new sales manager Eric said " Just come in my office and let's make this work"! He got me to where I was comfortable and 1 hour later I was on the road! The new staff changes made me a fan again. I'm hoping they have made the service department run that smooth ! I'll know in a few months. Go see Eric the manager or Brian and just say make it easy and I'm sure they will !

I took my Ford transit work van in for routine service, and was very pleased with the service I received. The staff was able to accommodate my needs to have my van back to me quickly, as my van is my primary means of functioning for my business. The staff was very kind, honest, and courteous while answering all my questions and helping me. I had a concern about the transmission of my van, and the service crew was very helpful to determine that the concern was noted, and nothing to be stressed about. Overall, I am very pleased with the service that I received, and will continue to bring in my vehicle for routine maintenance. Thank you, Ford team. Aloha.

Took my high mileage Ford p/u to Valley Isle for service. Another mechanic was unable to locate the problem. The Service Tech was very positive and the mechanics located the issue and repaired it quickly. They addressed some other issues that needed attention. The price was comparable to other shops in the area. The service was completed quickly, without any issues. I was hesitant to take my truck to Valley Isle because of the service I received about 4 years ago. They have obviously improved things, as I am very satisfied with the service I received this visit. I will definitely return to Valley Isle for any other service I need.

Had my F150 towed in overnight, they called me at 8am and had a diagnosis the same day and repairs complete the next morning. Problems all solved at reasonable price.BUT, the standout is the customer service. The service department people are just cool. 100% would recommend and would return.

I ordered a new bronco two years ago online with Ford. I was given Valley Isle Ford because of my ZIP Code. When my bronco arrived the dealership marked it up $12,995 on top of MSRP. It almost seemed illegal they told me every dealership is doing that which is not true many dealerships on the mainland do not mark up your vehicle if you ordered your own it will stay at MSRP. I love Maui and want to support locally Jim Faulk Ford is a mainland company. You re better off ordering from the mainland and pay for shipping will save a ton of money.

Making the service appointment was easily done on-line. Dropped the car off at the appointed time, was told what the dealership was going to do and how long it would take. Since the service was going to take about 90 minutes I waited at the dealership. James Weaver, my service adviser cane to the waiting area to tell me the service was done within the estimated time. He went over what was done and that everything was in order. Paid for the service and the car was brought out to me. I was thrilled with everything.

My boyfriend and I both had wonderful customer service experience from the valley isle motors team. They're very friendly and they helped me out a lot as well as didn't give me the run around. They took good care of me and you definitely feel the aloha spirit from everyone. Best customer service that I've had from any dealership.

James Weaver helped me tremendously with my car. He was very friendly, had great knowledge of the car (escape hybrid) and shared valuable information with me. He gave me some tips that will save me a lot of money in the upkeep of my car.I found him very client oriented, professional and empathetic. I had a great experience at Valley isle motors and I am glad to know I have a good place to go, when my car needs attention.
