We found this rental agency by accident, but I m so glad we did! The rates were fantastic, the friendly and helpful staff were able to shuttle us to/from the airport, and the car was very clean. Would definitely rent again from them.

I highly recommend Ohana Rent A Car. They're incredibly accommodating and responsive. The car was flawless and in excellent condition. Plus, their prices are very competitive.

I was thrilled with the service provided by Ohana and would 100% recommend and use again. Everything was set up before my flight and with a quick phone call upon arriving the car was waiting for us in the parking lot just outside of baggage claim at the airport. The car was just as described and very clean. Drop off was probably even easier. I doubt I could beat the price and know I couldn't beat the service at a big name company.

Ohana Rentals was great. They picked my wife and I up from the airport and drove us to their off-site office where the rental car was. Since we were renting the car for 5+ days, this pickup was complimentary. The car was clean and in great condition. The Ohana employees we interacted with were very friendly and they communicated very well, including responding quickly to any questions I sent them via text or the Turo app. I would gladly use them again.

Happy to have the personable young lady pick us up, free of charge, at the condo the morning after arriving on the island; taking us back to the office to get the vehicle we had reserved. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The vehicle was comfortable, clean and in sound mechanical condition. The option of leaving the vehicle at the airport the night of our departure (for a small additional fee) rather than returning it to their office before closing, was very much appreciated! It simplified things that much more.I'd be happy to rent from Ohana again! Mahalo!!

Words cannot express how wonderful it was renting from Ohana Rent A Car! When my husband and I landed in Maui we received a call stating they were already at the airport ready to pick us up. Our rental car was clean and ran great. And when it came time to leave (sadly) they even went out of their way to meet us later after regular business hours because our flight had been delayed. Sandy, Tyler and Steven were wonderful to work with. Every time we come to Maui in the future we will rent ONLY from Ohana Rent A Car!

These guys are great!! All the rental cars companies on the island were booked up (not to mention charging $150 a day without any of their insurance options). Ohana quoted 51$/day, and that's all that they charged me. So clean. They just need to see your insurance card from your car in the US, and drivers. And we got a brand new Nissan Frontier. Considering all the extra fees and BS with the regular rental cars this was really refreshing!

During research for our Trip to Maui, I found Ohana Rent A Car online and after communicating with them by email and phone, decided to rent from them. We try to rent with smaller companies for a more personal experience and they did not disappoint. We arrived by cruise ship and were picked up right at the pier and taken to their place of business. Signed a couple of papers as we had done all the pre-work by email and phone before arriving and we were on the road. Using the great advice we were given by Sandee and Tori and our pick up girl, Tiffany, we had a wonderful day driving The Road to Hana. We finished with the car prior to our end time and after a quick call to the agency, we were able to arrange an earlier drop off and transportation back to the pier. Thank you Tyler. Setting up the car rental and the paperwork prior to our arrival and the information I received from Sandee and Tori was great. Tiffany and Tyler were great transfer people and both were very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you to everyone for making our day on Maui a great one. We would definitely use them again and recommend them for anyone who wants more personalized service.

Family (in the a name) run business. You feel like you are borrowing a car from them and they trust their customers. Cheapest rental car I've ever rented in a place where tourism has driven up the price of the major big brands. No credit card required. Many companies limit where you can take rental cars due to road conditions; not this one. The staff is local and eager to help you with directions and ideas for your Maui adventure. They didn't restrict us going to Hana or West Maui; I am now a travel agent and I will be sending my clients to Ohana knowing they will be taken care of.

Ohana Rental Car and Tori and Tyler are "no ka oi!" They really do treat you like family. Best service and prices on Maui. Way better than airport operators. Will pick you up from your flight if necessary.

Really good value for the amount of money spent and outstanding customer service!Thank you Caitlin and Sandee, you're both wonderful!I completed all paperwork by email a few weeks in advance - a fast, easy, and painless process. The communication was excellent, Caitlin and Sandee answered promptly and in detail (by email or over the phone) to every concern and questions I had. What they say they offer is exactly what they offer, and more!The car was at the airport when we arrived. They tracked our flight to know the exact arrival time, and upon arrival Tyler met us in the parking lot right across from the exit and handed us the car keys. Thank you Tyler! The car was spotless and in impeccable condition.Big thank you for being flexible and accommodating with pick up/drop off time and location.Sandee & Tyler - it was a pleasure to meet you in person.Caitlin - looking forward to meeting you in person next time when I'm in Maui.Mahalo!

I have rented a vehicle for the past 3 years from Ohana Rent A Car and they have been fantastic. Treated us very well and a decent price too. Highly recommend renting from them.

Phenomenal company. People who actually talk to you. They answer questions, are kind, considerate, and so helpful. Tori just rocks. What a wonderful young lady. Thank you all so much for not becoming one of the non-human companies that will only communicate with you via computer. Your personalized service goes above and beyond. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I reserved a car from here weeks ago and even called the company to verify since I never used Turo before, and they cancelled it 2 days before we are coming to town because they "overbooked" and were "cancelling other peoples reservation too"

Love these folksEveryone was helpfulPlease please stay away from national chains like budget Avis enterprise or thrifty1. Take care of the local economy2. Flexible3. No crazy lines4. Pick ya up and drop ya off with a person not a bus5. Way inexpensive compared to chains!

Complementary pickup at the airport and they are always available when you call. Price is good for maui and no extra airport fees.
