I usually go to a tint shop in Kailua, because they always do an amazing job. But this time I decided to save some time, since I live in Honolulu and get it done at a place near me that has great reviews. This is how I found Richard from Tinting Hawaii. He did an excellent job. He is an absolute professional, devoted to this business.Additionally, a week after he tinted my wife s SUV windows, she decided that the trunk window tint is too dark for her. I was the one who chose the darkness. Richard offered to replace it for free - super cool dude.Not that I would really take advantage of his kindness and not pay for the extra work, but just saying, he is a good guy, who deserves those top reviews.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I wasn't able to get my truck tinted due to size, not being able to fit the workspace. I'm leaving a 5 star review because of the customer service! Richard gave me a couple of options to try and I was able to get the job done elsewhere. He could've easily said sorry, and send me on my way. I appreciate the honesty and professionalism! Aside from my truck, this will be my first stop for any tinting needs in the future!

Incredible job and very affordable. Richard was fast and did a great job. The price was unbeatable in the area.I reached out. He quickly found a time that worked. Had a waiting area and got the job done at a great time. Super nice and explained how to take care of the tinting.

Richard knows what he's talking about. I've been struggling to find a solution for my house that's filled with windows. Our consultation was quick because Richard already answered majority of my questions as he explained my options for heat control. He was honest, fair, and provided his expert perspective. I felt extremely comfortable with his offer and immediately booked an appointment. The job took a little longer than I expected, but only because Richard and his worker, Mike, wanted to ensure the best quality product while applying the tint against the sun. Both were extremely courteous and down to earth, which is hard to come by nowadays. I wish I took a before and after picture because the quality service is quite incredible. Richard did an awesome job on my van. Work quality is excellent and fast. After calling various shops, learned pricing is competitive. I decided to go with Tiniting Hawaii because of the reviews. They did not disappoint. Finding the place was a bit tricky. They are located on the fifth floor of the Monarch Waikiki Hotel parking lot. Mahalo for the awesome job.

Quick quality service. Richard responded right away and I had an estimate within a couple days of first contacting him. When we were ready to schedule our home window tint he was able to get us in within a week. Installation was done by Richard himself plus one additional very polite young man. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. My windows look great and our house stays cooler now!

Great experience with Richard from Tinting Hawaii. I m not local, so I did the google research and found this place to be exactly what everyone said. Professional, courteous, and prompt service. Had my brand new HRV tinted and I am very happy with the results!

Richard was quick to respond to my request for a quote. I was contacted by phone within 30 minutes of my request. He was eager to get me what I needed and scheduled the install within a few days. He did excellent work with the install as well. All around a great experience. I would definitely use them again.

Richard was very knowledgeable as he shared his years of experience since he started from high school, quick but very well done job on my car windows, and the price just can t be beat, I couldn t be more thankful. Did a fantastic job on my car, had him remove 18ish year old tint and put new tint in. No issues with the tint at all! I would recommend this place to anyone that asks!

Extremely satisfied with the service and professionalism! I was contacted right away when I inquired and was in and out quicker than expected. From the time he contacted me with a quote I felt like a valued customer! I know nothing about tinting and he happily walked me through with the samples for my vehicle. Years later, tinting is still all G. They were prompt and affordable. When I went, there was a new guy training to do the tinting but no issues whatsoever and they delivered within the hour of my predicted time.Their location was a bit odd but otherwise should be easy to find. They take up a corner inside a parking structure.[Edit Jan 2022]Five years later, driver window tinting got weird, looking like ripples on water. Richard was super helpful with scheduling me within a week and replacing the tint in under an hour. They got a waiting room.Service: Vehicle window tinting

Getting to Tinting Hawaii may be a bit of a challenge, but Richard did a very quick and competent job removing tinting from my back window.

Richard, who I believe is the owner, is an attention to detail kind of person. He did the majority of the installation of the tint to every window of our home with meticulous detail. He definitely knew his trade and would share what we would expect to see, what we should lookout for and if there were any problems with the tint film or the installation of the film, that he would come back and install it free of charge. The tint is also lifetime warranted. There was one window that the installation required replacement and Richard jumped right on it. There was an issue Richard faced with starting on the agreed date but his brother stepped in and let us know what the issue was and gave us an opportunity to wait until Richard was available or he could do the work. We elected to wait since we were not in a rush. We just love our tint.

Brought my Mercedes CLA to have the windows tinted. Team was very friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the process. Great lounge area while they work on the car. Tinting Hawaii was solid! I recommend to anyone looking to tint/re-tint their ride. I took 2 cars to Tinting Hawaii, both were done on time and look great!They were on top of all the legalities involved, percentage allowed, etc. For example, I didn't know the rear taillight in the window cannot be tinted over after a certain year, tint has to be cut around the light. Tinting Hawaii did good keeping the taillight area clean, not obvious, no gaps. Very friendly guys. If you're from Hawaii, check em out! Mahalo Tinting Hawaii

Our home overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Four large windows were covered in warped tint material that distorted the beautiful view. We called Tinting Hawaii and they came out immediately - removed the old tint and added the new. They made it look easy and worked quickly. Now we can enjoy the view without the distortion. We recommend this company without reservation.

This is an excellent business located on the 5th floor of the parking structure of the Hawaiian Monarch hotel. They tinted all my windows to my 4dr sedan for $280 plus tax with the ceramic coated tint. They have a less expensive option as well.All the windows were tinted to 35%, legal limit, to include the rear window. Tinting Hawaii even cut out a recess in the tint for the 3rd brake light. All of the tint applied has a nationwide LIFETIME warranty from Solar Gard from blistering, peeling, etc.*** TIP ***Be sure to call ahead of time, that way you do not have to pay for access to the parking garage.

Tinting Hawai i did a great job on redoing the tint on my vehicle, even after Tint shop Hawai i did a poor job. They even removed the bad tint that Tint shop Hawai i installed at no charge!*professional, amazing customer service, and quality work*
