Colin and his team are the best! It s very intimidating as a woman when you have car trouble. They make you feel comfortable and assured they ll do what they can without trying to add unnecessary expenses. They are busy so as long as you don t have unrealistic expectations about the turn around time, you ll be very pleased with your experience!

I was recommended to this shop by a relative. Went there and stood there for about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. One guy was working on a customer s vehicle, while the other one was on his phone. Once I was finally acknowledged, the guy working on the car told me that someone would be with me, so I returned to my car. After about 20 minutes, a third guy came back from his lunch break and talked about my car issue. Got my information and told me they would call in a couple of days once he got information for parts and cost. Never got a call. Ended up calling the shop after waiting for two weeks. The person who answered the call seemed confused and didn t know what was going on when I told him I was waiting back on a quote for two weeks. The person on the phone asked me to text their number I called my information again and they would get back to me. It s been another three days and I got no word back from anyone from the shop. I m not going to keep calling a shop for business if they don t want it. Going elsewhere.

The crew at Tanaka auto are top notch mechanics! I say this as a 25 year auto industry business owner. Ive dealt with all kind of shops across the island. They are honest, reasonable, and they know there stuff. Hard to fix European cars they no scade! You always treated like ohana down there.
