Great place specializes in jdm vehicles. Awesome owner and knowledgeable lead tech. I had the pleasure of working for them for a week but wasn't a good fit due to my lack of shop time. Still I would work for them again if given a chance and will probably buy a kei van from them in the future.

Adel was quick to help me and get my truck headlight fixed immediately! I was lucky and got the last available headlight and he made sure I was comfortable waiting for the fix. He even threw in a complimentary headlight cleaning! I felt very welcomed into the environment and left very happy with the service. Will be recommending to all my fellow truck owners.

My experience with JDM Repair service was incredible. I ve been dealing with a problem regarding my car s Horne and while other car repair shops told me it was an impossible issue and they didn t want to deal with it,Adele took care of my car and repaired the issue in less than 30 minutes. It became my go to place for repairing my vehicle for sure!!!

So glad we have Sky Auto around!Went in for a tire replacement. They do specialize in JDM vehicles, but they were able to perfectly accommodate my Mini regardless. Had the job done efficiently and at a fair price. I ll definitely be stopping by here next time!

Fantastic service and all the staffs were super friendly. We won t go anywhere else.They even told us to watch out for our increase in insurance price since we own a Range Rover which is supposedly a very easy car to steal with digital theft.

He has a very good knowledge base on all things automotive...he helped with referrals and repair...6star treatment for providing the .50 cal antenna replacement ;)

This company posted multiple pictures and videos of my car online without my approval or consent, they also proceeded to cut up wires going to my engine computer and replace with speaker wires without my consent or knowledge.They posted videos of my car driving out of their lot even tho I never approved anyone to test drive my car only to get it started. They also replaced my fuel pump leaving the fuel pump cover completely unbolted and every bolted loose causing fuel fumes in the cabin at all times. I also found the new bushings I installed in my front lower control arms with only 20 miles were sliced with a razor on both ends. I emailed the company about my issues and was instantly blocked without any response or email back. I received my car with a vacuum leak causing my car to run lean and not idle correctly yet they took my car out on a test drive even tho my car is not registered to drive on the road in Hawaii. They responded finally saying they would help but blocked me from emailing back which makes no sense. Also multiple reviews state they specialize in Japanese car repairs but have not provided any documentation of any degree stating they are ASE certified in Japanese auto repair. I only had my car worked on because the shop stated they have over 70 years of experience yet I'm still waiting for them provide any information or documentation of the ASE certified mechanics they had servicing me vehicle. Also their website states a 5* review status but does not show any 1* or bad reviews posted on Google. They replaced all my injectors and spark plugs without providing any evidence, information, or pics on parts they replaced stating all my injectors were bad without showing me or providing any proof or information about them testing all of my injectors so they charged me and replaced all of my injectors with any proof they were faulty. Also what makes no sense is that they say they provide warranty but state in their website that "Incidental or consequential damages or loss caused by breakdown of covered parts (or otherwise) including property damage, personal injury, inconvenience, loss of vehicle use, damage to a covered part is not covered" and in short terms any part they replace if it breaks or fails and causes any damage to your vehicle they are not responsible so pretty much if they fic a part and it breaks and messes your car up they arnt responsible which preaty much means anything you pay them to fix or replace if it breaks its your fault and they will jot replace.

Throughout my troubles with Insurance, the staff at Sky Auto has been transparent and are willing to fix my vehicle. I value their great customer service. Definitely will continue working with them in the future.

You know, be wary when people want your review before they've actually done anything significant for you. These guys didn't even have the air filter for my oil change service and still asked for my review BEFORE my nearly $1500 of work and thank God... they took my car in Thursday morning, we started texting at 8am that day because he had said I would get a quote Tuesday by 5pm... still no quote by Thursday morning when he had said I should bring it in. He said I needed to bring it in early Thursday but took by mid- morning to get me the quote. I bring it in as soon as I sign the quote and the only way I haggle him on the quote is by buying my own parts (and thank God I did because not only did he not know what boots I needed but he also was charging OEM prices for napa parts)So, because he claims didn't listen to what I said about when the 2nd bunch of parts were arriving ("by noon Friday" they actually came in at 8am) and I dropped the car off with a trunk full of parts AND needed work like degreasing the engine which doesn't require ANY parts but does require a lot of labor time... they didn't do anything to it all day Thursday. So I was without a car all day and night Thursday for nothing and his response is "I'll have it done on Saturday"When I pointed out that degreasing the engine doesn't take any parts to be in stock and could've been done yesterday or I could've kept the car yesterday and just brought it back in he immediately was like "I'm gonna pull the car"Frankly, this place should reimburse me for all the ubers I had to take while they did NOTHING to my vehicle and got all touchy the second I pointed out that they are, actually, not perfect. They had an opportunity to make things right by me but they cut and ran instead. Bring your car here at your own risk.Edited to add: resolving this could've been as simple as discounting me the cost of the ubers I needlessly took on Thursday. But instead of wanting to make things right you, Adel, the owner, threw a tantrum and made it so I took all those ubers for NOTHING. You took my car for a day and a night, had me throw my money away on ubers for nothing. As I was walking out on Thursday you said "we'll get on this right away." That was a bald face lie, apparently. I got there at 10:30am Thursday so I honestly don't believe you thought those parts were getting there in 90 minutes or less. Did some sucker walk in after me with a bigger quote?you are the reason people don't trust mechanics. In so grateful you threw this tantrum and I only wasted money on ubers and not your business cuz who knows what shenanigans were in store. when we were talking about the work in store you said "I can tell you want to invest in this car. " no... you want my money. Sketchy, sketchy, sketchy. Shame on you.Here's the funniest thing: I think to try to get me to feel good about all this he pointed out that one of his guys dropped me off right by where they had to go get parts on Tuesday. Ummm... so that was convenient for you and then you immediately asked for a review... at the time I thought it was Aloha spirit but then you pointed out how you're "really trying to get more reviews" and then you tried to throw it in my face today. It was literally a half a block from napa. Shame on you, dude.

My truck stalled at a stop light (as they do). I called Sky Auto to ask if I could have it towed in, but since I happened to be just a few minutes away, they sent two of their techs and towed me back to their shop themselves. A kei truck towing another kei truck was a sight to see! They diagnosed and fixed the problem in an hour while I waited up the street, and now my truck is as good as new!

Slater was very nice and helpful in buying my vehicle. Until I contacted him shortly after buying the vehicle about mechanical issues, the first time he agreed to pay for half the cost. And the second time he never responded and I was left to repair my new car. Still having mechanical issues to this day.

Slater and the team at Sky Auto were awesome! After hitting a few dealerships and dealing with thirsty auto salesmen,, Me & my fiance found a nice truck advertised on Facebook at Sky Auto and went to the lot to view it. The truck was listed at a very good price, but they wound up showing us another newer truck at an even better value that we wound up purchasing. They treated us very well, and the buying process was so fast and easy. Never once did I feel like just a sale or like my financial requirements were belittled. Slater & team worked with us to get the numbers we wanted and into our new truck asap! Thank you Sky Auto team!!

I had such a good experience buying my car from Sky Auto Hawaii. Slater + Jackson both took care to make sure the process went smoothly for me as I was preparing for my move to Honolulu. They were gracious enough to house the car for me until I arrived and even picked me up from the airport when we flew in! Excellent service, great guys, awesome car.

I can t say that I ve had a more pleasant car buying experience than buying from Sky today. I dread the weird, pressured atmosphere I usually get from dealerships and was totally expecting the same today. I found Slater to be a very genuine and likable guy. He didn t ask a bunch of questions and didn t try to drive the sale. He didn t hover, and totally left me with the car to look at it as thoroughly as I wanted. I was able to test drive on my own and really drove it around.I picked up an 04 Pathfinder that seems to be in really good shape. It was one of the older, if not the oldest cars on the lot. Ironically it was exactly what I was looking for and I doubt I would have found one in better shape on the island. The rest of the cars seemed to be in really great condition and were newer. I m pretty sure he chose the Pathfinder because it was in such great shape.We agreed on the down payment and I was able to arrange to pay the balance off directly to him each month. He was very casual about the whole process. Usually I d be drenched in sweat but he never made me feel uncomfortable.If you want to have a great experience buying a car and he has what you are looking for, give him a chance. I have no reason to believe he d treat you any differently than he treated me and business owners like him deserve the chance to earn our business.

Absolutely fantastic! Honest, fair, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend buying from here. I traded in my old car to get my new 2015 Audi A4! So nice not going to the dmv. Slater was great and he took care of all the dmv paperwork for me right there in the office. Price was extremely competitive as well. A++ :)

The team at Sky Auto Hawaii was awesome. We went in, look at the car we were interested and it was almost time to close. Told them we ll be there next morning at 0900. They received us, have us do a quick test drive and by the time we were back almost all the paperwork was done. Painless and stressful free process. Super friendly staff. I recommend them hands down.

I came across a Jeep online that I fell in love with and with Jackson and Slaters help, they were able to get me behind the wheel!! Super fast friendly service, Slater even took the time to take my license plate frames off my old car and onto my Jeep for me!! I had to go to another site to sign papers and Jackson took the time to have me follow him there so I wouldn t get lost! I highly recommend Sky Auto if your w looking for a used vehicle!! Mahalo guys for all your help!!!
