I was reffered to fix my brakes here. At my first visit to drop my S.U.V. off the lady in the window pointed to the gentleman to speak to him because she doesn't speak to well English. He told me we very busy we don't have any space to do your vehicle. I thought wow how rude, then he told me where is your vehicle I said I parked it down the road because there is no available parking in front of your shop, he told me to park your vehicle here, so I did exactly that. I was so lost at this time!He then said I cannot do it until 3p.m. and I just got there at 11:50a.m. So I went in his office and he told me to write my name and number on a composition book he had provided and leave the keys and he'll call me when it's done! I then looked around his shop and office and thought it is a shady spot. I hesitated to leave my keys, but worked my way up to it. I gathered my personal items from the vehicle and walked down the street to keep myself busy for the next several hours.Time past and it was about 3:50p.m. So I figured okay I should go back and check on my vehicle, I couldn't wait anymore for his phone call. To my surprise he told me you vehicle won't be ready until tomorrow, the parts will come in at 12p.m. So he told me to leave my vehicle over night, damn I just bit my tongue, because I was worried my vehicle might get stolen or broken into...Today was tomorrow and to my surprise he calls me at 12:12p.m. to inform me that my vehicle is ready??? What!?! He tells me again your vehicle is ready, you can come and puck it up! I was on the next bus from Waikiki to kalihi where his shop is located, I get there at 1:40p.m. pay the man and jump into my vehicle and the brakes are awesome, my vehicle runs a lot smoother than it did before. This shop may not have the best customer service , but they do some damn great work with passion like your vehicle is their own! They really treat and repair their customers vehicle like it is their own! With a lot of pride!Now this is on Hawaiian who would definitely go back to these guys and give them my business! The shop may look rundown, they may not have ample parking, their office may not be inviting, and the social skills may not be the best, BUT! Their work is the BOMB!!! Highly recommend this place, they are very straight talk and to the point and they get the job done and done well!!!Mahalo piha Sam's Auto Center for all your kokua and Malama! I truly appreciate you all....never judge a book by its cover and never judge a car repair shop on their customer service or shops presentation especially when their work is 100% Aloha and pono!

He is a very honest mechanic with great skills and heartfelt care. He also charges very reasonably for his services. Awesome!!

Sam is da man when repairing my truck. He is reasonable in prices and does a very good job.

Every time I went to a dealer for repairs, the repair costs were too high, so I contacted this place and they repaired the car at a much cheaper price, so I became a regular shop. It's not a fancy shop, but Sajin's skills are top notch. It's nice to know a conscientious car service center that will forgive you even if you go out of your way to change things and tell you to keep changing more.

I fixed the puncture here, but the wind was strong again so I had to fix it somewhere else.
