Best place for auto repair in Kaimuki. Quick, efficient and down to earth employees. I m an idiot when it comes to cars and they always take time to explain things to me when I ask questions.

These guys are awesome! Just got one of my tires plugged from them and was in & out in about 5 minutes! The price was was less than I thought it would be too. Overall great experience

First off Mahalo to Ross the Owner and Manager who at the last minute was able to take our car in. The check engine light came on and while my wife was driving, it stalled on the freeway, fortunately she was able to restart it and get home safely. I called Ross and he said to bring it in and they d see what they could do, I also asked if they could change the spark plugs as I haven t done that since we bought this used car.I brought it in early today and got a call back several hours later, saying they identified and corrected the problem, it turns out that the air intake manifold needed to be repaired and a part replaced.Like I said I got a call back that it was ready only a couple hours after dropping it off.The car runs great, the service was phenomenal and the cost quite reasonable.It s really nice having a well qualified service station in the neighborhood. It s a small shop but they really hustle. Other shops you may see cars there overnight some likely taking days if not weeks, here most nights their lot is empty, meaning owners got their cars back that day!Can t say enough for Palolo Auto Service, Manager Ross and his crew.I remember my own Dad taking his car there years ago and it being worked on by him. I really like coming here to get my car serviced! The guys there are so friendly and courteous, and do the job quickly and efficiently. Hubby and I keep coming back for both our cars because the mechanics there are so great. Recommend!!!

Got my safety check here no problem. In and out without a fuss. Hats off to one of their younger male employees. Not sure of his name but works Saturday's. Kind, friendly and a hard worker. I will be using these guys a lot more now.

These guys know their stuff and the price is the lowest on island that I found so far. I took my car there and when I picked it up it sounded and ran way better than it was when I took it there. They even topped the fuel. The guys are professional and friendly. This is a spot that's like a hidden gem. I had a flat that morning they took a look at it and couldn't find a leak but to be on the safe side he had me come back a day after for a follow up, just to be sure it was ok. Idk about you? But I know that that act was out of kindness and they are professionals who go the extra mile for their customers. There are businesses that are in the community and there are businesses that take care of the community. This is a business that takes care of the community. I'm gonna be a regular. I trust them with my car.

My second time here in 2 months...the first time I didn't leave a review, but after coming in for another maintenance check I wanted to leave a stellar review of this business. All the employees are exceptional and friendly, especially Jake. I know virtually nothing about auto repair and they took care of me and my ride. Price is good and service too!

I regularly get my oil changed and I just replaced my air compressor. They got a cheaper rate on it passed the savings on me. Very quick turn around, just half a day. Great service

Great last minute service just before closing on a holiday eve. My battery was dead. I replaced it in the morning. Later in the day I noticed that my break lights were on even when my car was not running. Didn t want my new battery to die. It was 4:20 on July 3rd. Yikes. I searched for mechanics close by and gave Palolo Auto Service a call. The gentleman I spoke to said he could help. I rushed over. $15 and 10 minutes later my break signal switch was replace and problem solved!

I needed my safety inspection updated, and I decided to come here because they were open. I ended up chatting with the owner, who's a great guy, knows his business inside and out. I made an appt and was in and out in 30min, no hassles.

Got friendly and efficient service today from Ross and his crew after my car broke down and I had it towed here... Ross took the time to listen to my concerns and what I had observed was wrong, and then he walked me through the solution and what the price of the repair would be. Very quick turnaround!

Jim and Ross and their people have serviced and repaired every car my wife and I have owned for 22 years. We have sent them all sorts of customers over the years. Absolutely trustworthy, honest and professional.

Called to ask if they could do a safety check on my truck and instead of a simple yes or no answer, the guy began to lecture me for waiting till the end of the month to get my safety check. Told me I dropped the ball and shouldn t forget about safety checks . I ended up just hanging up on him. I was absolutely dumbfounded. Who the hell does this guy think he is to berate me like that?! TERRIBLE customer service. I will never give Palolo auto service my business ever again.

Yeah, since my elderly mom doesn't know how to go on here and give feedback, i'm doing it for her. She is very nice elderly lady and said they treated her with horrible customer service and even will hang up when you ask questions on the phone. Come on, apparently you guys know a little about mechanics, so why not pair it with some friendly customer service or just keep the stick up arse and continue to get these reviews, your choice

Jim and Ross are by far the best, most honest mechanics I've ever met. They explain everything and always give very competitive prices. I trust them 100% and send referrals to them whenever possible.

I ve never written a review on google before but here it is. These guys have competitive prices and always go above and beyond. My battery bracket broke so I bought a new one but didn t have the time to put it on the same morning. So I asked if they could throw it on cuz it s suppossd to be simple. Well this bracket didn t fit the battery. Without question one of the mechanics cut a piece metal and I gotta say looks super professional so the bracket would fit my battery on top of changing my alternator for me. Much mahalos to these bradahs keep up the good work.

I called just to ask some questions and whoever answered the phone asked to make it quick because he was with a customer. I understand that, but it doesn't mean he had to be rude about it. I told him I will call back because I wanted to have my questions answered uninterrupted, and he hung up. Clearly customer service isnt their strong suit.

I had a leaking tire. They fixed it in 5 minutes. No waiting. Honest, friendly. I didn't even have an appointment. This is one of the few full service gas stations around. Reminds me of old times.

No Ka Oi....Called for appt. for safety check and got one for the following morning. Showed up about 5 minutes early, they started checking immediately and were pau in just a few minutes. Super efficient; nice... It's my new go-to service station. (and if you should have to wait, they're right across the street from Kaimuki Longs and other places to spend time).

Probably the worst customer service I've ever had in any business/service. If you're looking for a place to be talked down to and reprimanded for "cutting it close with the safety check date", please by all means get your service here.
