Very very poor experience. Made an appointment online and received confirmation via email. Get to site on time and during check in they stated I had no appointment and that they didn t have the tires. I showed proof of appointment and they stated I would have to wait as a walk in since there are no technicians available and they will have to find tires on site that would fit my car. After almost two hours I finally got called to the counter to say they will be starting the car soon and that the only tires they had were a higher series of tire (ordered Coopers and they only had Goodyears. Only good thing about this experience was that I got Goodyears at the Cooper price since that is all they had). After another half hour my car finally goes in to get worked on, now 2.5 hours into me sitting in their lobby. Once the car was finished I paid and left. Totaling just under 4 hours. I get home and notice some marking on the wheels, thinking it was just the soap used to put the tire on I thought nothing of it for a few days. Today when I washed the car I found out let s just say it s not soap. There are heavy scratches all around the outside of the wheel on all 4 wheels!!! I used to work at Goodyear and this would never have been acceptable. I am greatly disappointed and upset at this whole situation. If Goodyear sees this and wants to make things right they can contact me. Pictures below are of the scratches on the wheels. Unbelievable

Avoid this place at all costs, particularly if you are female.My daughter, who happens to be a cute 20 year old student at UH Manoa, had a tire that suddenly started losing air. I told her to go to this Goodyear Auto Service Center because a) it was close to campus, and b) my grandfather worked his entire career at the Goodyear plant in Akron, OH, and we have been a Goodyear family for over 75 years.To my extreme dismay, the would be theif, I mean salesperson, tried to tell my daughter she needed new tires because they were "cracked."Her car has 500 treadwear Pirelli run flats that are date coded in August 2018. The tires are not cracked, and the tread is well above the wear bars with at least 4/32nds of tread left. They are somewhat old and worn, but they are not unsafe or in need of imminent replacement. See the photos.She called me and put me on speaker with the salesperson, who tried to tell me the same thing. I asked if he had found a puncture. He said he hadn't and repeated the same "cracked" story he told my daughter.I race cars. I buy multiple sets of tires a year. The guy is clearly not honest and/or incompetent. He is trying to take advantage of customers who don't know tires.I told my daughter to get her tire aired up (they did that for free, so they earned the one star) and go to the Discount Tire on Ualena St. Discount found a nail in her tire, and they patched it for free. They told her that her tires were worn but safe for a little while longer. In other words, they were honest, in stark contrast to Goodyear's approach to customer "service."

Made an application for wheel rotation. I came and they told me to buy rubber pads so they could jack up the car. Maybe I should change the tires myself? They cost up to $30 on Amazon. The procedure also costs $30, but if you change the oil, it s free. I have a Tesla and I don't change the oil. the company could have bought these pads. it's a shame. I made an appointment with the dealer, no need to buy anything.

Very helpful if you go in person but the online appointment website seems to be just for show. Made two appointments on different days and showed up to a paper sign that said it was closed due to a power outage. No where was this shown on this site or the website, how do you allow customers to make appointments if your shop is closed? Very disappointing for a company that's supposed to be reliable and reputable.

Been going there for quite some time now. Mostly for regular oil changed and tire rotations. The service is really good. I make online appts and drop off the car.Reasonable prices and they can do many services on your vehicle if needed.

If only zero stars were an option I would use it here...I made a Monday afternoon appointment for new tires on Saturday and received an email confirming both the appointment and the selected tire. I received a follow up email Sunday reminding me of the 2pm appointment the next day.I called around 1230 Monday to ask if I could drop the car early around 1pm on my way home since I live around the corner instead of waiting til 2. I explained I did not need it finished earlier, but was only asking to drop off sooner to have more time to do work around the house. During this call I was informed that not only were the tires I selected not in stock but that the ones available were ~$60 more per tire which would have increased my service cost close to $250. I asked why I was not notified prior and was told "I don't know. I didn't even know you had an appointment today." When I informed her that I received not one, but two confirmation emails, she responded with "We've been busy and haven't checked the online appointment system."I asked if there was anyway to order the requested tire or something similar to it in price OR see if another store had them available. She told me she didn't know but I could call the other stores. To add she then ask me to "call back to let her know if I still planned to come because they were closing at 2pm due to the holiday."Excuse me, what? Had I not called in advance best case I would have arrived to find out they did not have the tires I needed in stock. Worst case I would have arrived to a locked store for an appointment I scheduled two days in advance!!! Completely unacceptable and an absolute waste of my time. Fortunately I called the Salt Lake location who not only fit me in within the hour but extended the free installation offer on a similarly priced tire that did not qualify for the promotion. Additionally, they had me in and out in 45 minutes.I will absolutely NEVER use this location nor recommend it to anyone.

Terrible. Was told that online appointments aren t really appointments Waited the 3 hours they said would take. Went back hadn t even started. Rather pay more at dealer than give $ to bored and lethargic employees and their company

Made an appointment for tire change. They told me it will take two hours but they didn t even get to work on my car until 2 and a half hours in. Have been at the place for almost 3 and a half hours and they told me it will be another 30 minutes. So an estimate of 2 hours turned into 4 hours. Completely messed up my plans for the day. Had I know it will take them this long I would not have left my car in the first place.

Just went here the other day. The staff is knowledgeable and, more importantly...honest! I took my care in to get the brakes done, and they told me only the front needed work, instead of trying to get me for all 4 wheels. I will definitely be taking my car here from now on.

I made an apointment through the website at 5pm. I waited for my time for 2 hours and when I went to the counter, they told me that they could not accept me because they had a different queue. Why? Why is the information on the website and in real life different???? We live in the 21st century. Synchronize your data. Why did I waste 2 hours of my time?

The staff is nice, and service is adequate, but they will scam you for money. Especially if you book online, expect a significant increase in the cost of your tires. Last time I walked in and the increase was fairly low. I decided to try again and this time I scheduled on-line only to find out when I arrived that it was going to be 50% more expensive! Don t bother coming here if you care about your money.

Working fast good system but I can't remove bad feelingThey just put expensive engine oil without discussingAnd they mentioned that I can take $50 discount after subscription and more than $150 qualified purchaseBut in person, they changed the word only more than $150 of labor fee even we spent $530

I did not check the quality of work because it is too early to say it, I will see, but this review is about the customer service for this store. The cashier there will try to over charge you as much as they can and meanwhile do as little work as possible. I made an appointment online for oil change. I get a list of prices for different oil options, but I prefer to choose oil in store. When I get there and let the cashier people know I made appointment online, the price is higher than the price on their website. So I have my question asked, he did not admit it and ask me what is the price online with an "I don't think so" face. So I thought I made a mistake on the price. After leaving the shop, I double checked online and it turned out I was right. So I went back to the shop to show the price, then that guy finally change the price. So, my advice is that you need to argue everything you can, they try to sell you as expensive as they can and treat you like a fool. Don't try to be nice or polite in this store, or you will get over charged. BTW, they offer free tire rotation and brake check for oil change, and they will not bring that to you, you have to ask!

Spoke to Gary at good year. He was very patient with all of my questions and was very helpful in helping me with what I need with honest feedback. truly appreciate their work and fully trust their service. Highly recommend.

Difficult to call. Often, don't answer the phone. They told me to walk in for service. Was pretty easy and fast. Will go back.

I am so happy I chose Waialae Goodyear. Every time I come in they ve been courteous, helpful, explained whatever I needed clarification on and always finished faster than my estimated wait time. Special thanks today to Ryan Matsumoto who was so very friendly and informative. As one who s experienced feeling degraded and talked down to at other auto centers I am very thankful for his wonderful customer service and courtesy. Mahalo Waialae Goodyear!

At Goodyear waialae location. Ryan was very knowledgeable in what they needed to do. He called me to explain what they need and why they should do the repairs. This is such great service. I hope all yout employees are just like Ryan. If not he should be training the rest of the crew on customer service. He also reminds the customers to give him the keys. There were 3 customers before me and 2 of them were thanking Ryan and getting ready to walk away. But Ryan seemed to be interacting with the customer, but not forgoting the most important thing before starting the repair. Keys to the vehicle's. I would definitely be coming back and telling my friends and family about Goodyear because of Ryan.

The team at Goodyear quickly and efficiently fixed my 25-year-old Volvo 740. The starter failed and I had diagnosed the car myself at home by tapping on the starter with a crowbar and getting it to spin.The mechanics here found the part and fixed the car within a day without a prior appointment. They were also willing to part-slap the starter and save me the diagnostic fee since I was 99% sure about the issue. I think this was a nice thing to do.

Took my Infiniti in twice for a oil change. second time one my valve stems to a tire broke off and I had my car towed to their lot. They tried to fix it and even warned me not to take my car to a dealership because they would charge to replace all 4 tire sensors even though I only needed one. All in all they put a new valve stem on my tire and put it back on and didn't charge me a dime. Great service, friendly and straight to the point.

Goodyear Kaimuki has THE WORST customer service ever! Over a year ago I gave them a poor review due to their deplorable customer service then. Sadly, my recent visit to their store once again found their customer service absolutely appalling! I waited for over an hour for the store to open and was the first in line only to be told I'd have to wait from 3 - 4 hours to fix my leaking tire. Not once was I informed that an appointment was needed, especially when they used to operate on a first come first serve basis. Dave (Manager of Waipahu Goodyear) and a customer svc. rep named Ronnie (?) from Goodyear Kailua are the ONLY 2 people who exude excellent customer service, Goodyear in Kaimuki deserves their reputation of being the lousiest Goodyear store EVER!

These guys are great, especially Ryan. Had to take my car in with no appointment for a flat tire. They squeezed me in and had me on my way to work in under 2 hours. Definitely earned my repeat business. Much mahalo, guys.

When it comes to tire shops this place goes beyond awesome! The staff here are helpful and friendly and went out of their way to fix my tires which was no small task. I own a big E450 and blew 2 back tires and had to limp here on sheer will and a prayer. This location borrowed a jack big and heavy enough from another location as well as found the correct weight rate tires to change and replace my blown tires. They saved me from having to get a flatbed tow truck and saved me money on each tire...needless to say I had all 4 back tires down in under 1 1/2 despite being a VERY busy shop. This shop normal can not handle a vehicle as large as mine, but they made it happen anyways! Thank you Lem :)

I went to three different places to try to get my flat tire repaired. Someone finally suggested I go to Goodyear on Walaiae Ave. They are the best! Super nice and they fixed my tire and didn't even charge me. When the time comes that I need to buy new tires, I'm going there.
