My new tire caught a nail rather close to the sidewall. I already shipped my tools off island so I stopped in here to get it patched or replaced. The shop owner took the time to advise and patched my tire for free, even as there was plenty of work being done. Couldn t recommend enough!

Second time coming to American Tire on town side and they took care of me same day no appt to repair a tire with a screw in it. Great customer service, muchas gracias and much mahalo to the American Tire Co Team.

My car had a bumpy/twisted tire that caused vibration when driving between 20-35 MPH speed so I brought it here. They spotted the faulty tire right away and replaced it within minutes. The cost was very reasonable. Not only that, they gave me a warranty for the lifetime of the tire, which is a real plus!

I called American tire company for a quote on a couple tires. I spoke with Ray and he was one of the most helpful people I ve ever spoken on the phone with. He took the time needed to assist me and didn t try to rush me off the phone. He was very polite which is hard to find these days. Thank you Ray!!

Amazing Service and Great people. A family run business that has always helped me with great customer service. I use American Tire for my small business with a small fleet of commercial vehicles as well as my own personal cars. They always say what they are going to do, and within a very reasonable amount of time. The roadside assistance is a great resource as well as being open a couple evenings a week so I don't even have to lose a day for basic maintence and repairs. Best shop in town!!

Was bummed because I hopped a curb and ruined my tire on my car. Visited the Honolulu location. Raquel gave me a quote for 2 passenger tires and set me up with an appointment, same day in 2 hours of talking to her. Just an hour after dropping off the car, she called to say it was ready. Great efficient service and told me to come by should I have a flat or to rotate tires should I need it. Mahalo gang!

Great customer service. Came in because I saw a nail in the tire. Rep pulled the nail but it didn t pierce the tire so they double checked with water and found a leak in a different place. Very friendly and they were able to take me in right away.

Inefficient and rude go elsewhere. I had an appointment for an oil change at 9:15am; they didn t actually start until 10:30am, and did not complete the work until 11:30. They told me hey just going to rotate the tires 15 more minutes, and half an hour later oh there s pockets on your tires so we couldn t rotate (which in my mind shouldn t have taken 5 minutes to establish), then ok going to be done be right around with your car 5 minutes, and 20 minutes later still no help. The front desk lady was VERY rude, I was like hey I am in a rush have an appointment and she is like "well, what do you want me to do about it?" Guess I shouldn t have expected her to pretend like she cared or anything. Bottom line, ignore the 5 reviews written below by employees and family members and pay attention here this place is terrible.

This was my first time purchasing tires... All four (4) of them. I called around and was shocked at the total cost to put tires on a BMW!! American Tire Company to the rescue!!! Thanks to Moani for all her help. Ands Mahalo to everyone who took care of my car...
