Awesome service! First dealt with Lena, and then finished off the job with Shane! They both were incredible! Shane especially made sure I was taken cared of- and that I was Up to date on my vehicle details! It was so awesome to have him be thorough, answer all my questions, and then ensure they honored the pricing they quoted me for- even though it took extra work on their part! The entire service team is awesome! My trucks leveling kit turned out beautiful! Highly recommend the team here- especially Shane! Hit them up for all your vehicle needs!

I had service advisor Shane and he was super fast and friendly. He answered all my questions and was super professional. I like how he stayed in touch with me and gave me quotes on different prices for new tires and brakes. The courtesy shuttle drivers were nice, friendly and professional. We scheduled a routine service. We got there an hour early because we came in from Waimea. But they took our truck in immediately , no questions. They were so accommodating and friendly. Shane was our service guy, he was awesome! He explained everything about the service and went ahead and scheduled an appointment for us to come back for some work on our tire sensors. We always bring our truck to you guys because we always get great service.Thank you for that !Service: Oil change

I went in for my 6 month routine maintenance which I have been going to for the past three years. Shane was a great help upon arrival, did all protocals necessary like inspected my vehicle, etc. and determined what additional services needed to be done. It was quick and easy and they were able to get a shuttle for me (at 7AM). The service team was able to order a part for me that I needed and when I came back the following week for the install, Shane greeted me by name after having just one inital interaction with him a week prior. Thank you KM Service team for all you do, I love my vehicle three years later and it couldn't be possible without the support from KM in Hilo!Service: General repairs & maintenance

We brought my 2019 Jeep Compass in for its first oil change today. Shane, who originally sold me the vehicle back in August, helped us through the process as it was our first time in the Service Department. He was fast and efficient (both as a salesperson and advisor). Overall, everything went well and we are looking forward to Kamaaina Motors continued support in ensuring my vehicle will remain in great condition! Service: Oil change

Lena was wonderful to work with. Very thorough, detailed oriented. Went over everything that they would be doing. She scheduled the shuttle to and from the mall so I did not have to wait in the waiting room. They were very efficient, done in under two hours and a complimentary car wash!!! Alex was very professional and polite and did not make me feel like the dealer was trying to gouge me.He was very helpful and tried to save me money wherever he could. I'm very satisfied with the work that was done on two different occasions. Car performed better than when I took it in. To be clear this 5 star review is for Alex! NOT the rest of the service department, dodge/Chrysler/ram, or MVP (mopar vehicle protection). My ram 2500 went in for the same repair as it did 13 months ago when it was under warranty. Long story short, Alex helped me through all the problems I was having with this situation and displayed courteous and professional customer service the entire time. He went above and beyond the normal customer service you would normally receive. Although my situation wasn t remedied in my favor his customer service made it that much less painful. His management, MVP, and the other agents I spoke with should all take some lessons from him.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Kamaaina Motors were really nice when we called for service. They explained how long the service would be and was able to complete this service on time. We were pleasantly surprised and happy with how they accommodated us especially during this time of Covid while waiting for our car. I was greeted by Lena whom I recognized from my previous warranty service. She checked the outside for any obvious scratches/dents and sampled the Jeeps fluids. I was given a choice to wait in the lounge or have a courtesy ride home. I chose home. About 1-1/2 hours later I was called and they offered to pick me up. I ve used this service before but today I had a friend drop me off. My Jeep was ready and the annual safety check had been done. I was presented with a written report of what had been done and an appointment for 6 months from now. I am grateful to everyone who worked on my Jeep today.Life is an adventure best experienced in a JEEP!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have been servicing my vehicles with Kamaaina Motors for over 19 years. On every occasion, I drive a minimum 58 miles one way to have it done. That is to say, I trust them and appreciate the courtesy of all their Service Advisors. The last two times I have been there, Jocelyn was the Advisor assisting me. She like the other advisors, kept me informed of the status of my vehicle was always available to answer my questions. Keep it up, we appreciate it. From start to finish Eric took great care of my Jeeps needs. Nice girl name Lena helped me out! Great customer service! And super friendly. 4 stars bc their device that checks the car said something was wrong with my car battery, my hood did have rodent droppings in it so the only way they could check the battery was if I get it disinfected/cleaned, and it costed $150+! Come to find out my battery was fine, something was wrong with the device that checks the car Still had to pay the $150+. Wish I didn t because I for sure could have cleaned the hood myself, but it was already done with. Overall still had a great experience thereServices: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change

The staff were very friendly, informative and helpful. Service was excellent, I was given constant updates on the services I need. Our family truck was acting weird, and suddenly did not start. After getting the truck to Kamaaina Dodge Hilo service Center, Braddah Shane helped our Ohana out. He even pushed us up from January 13,2021 to service that day. Even though it wasn t a big issue to fix, Shane took care of us. Mahalo Nui Kama aina Dodge for having understanding advisors like Shane on board, and taking the time out of a busy schedule to help everyone who comes through those doors. We ve been servicing both our vehicles at Kamaaina Motors Hilo since we bought our new truck their in 2018. Advisor Lena helped us with our last three services. She is welcoming, attentive and a pleasure to work with. The experience last week was great that we brought the truck back this week for extra care services and also inquired about suspension lift installation. So far I ve only come in for oil changes and warranty work. Oil changes are pricy for diesels, but that s the usual because they use so much oil, and it s a dealership so they always charge more. It s a nice place to be though, good waiting room with coffee and tv, free shuttle to just about anywhere in Hilo. Friendly people both on the phone and in person. Lena was In contact the whole time the Pacifica was in service! Texting about my warranty coverages n even ordering the part that will be coming in 2 weeks!Also just letting me know from the get go what was going to be covered n what wasn t! This made me so comfortable knowing my van was going be taken gods care of! This was my first time here at Kama aina motors, but my parents had a dodge van n is still going because my mom was adamant about watching the mileage, to have it serviced! This year my family n I lost both parents but the van still living!Thanks Lena! My 2015 dodge Durango went in for a regular maintenance check and upon being returned to me I noticed an unusual noice when I made turns. I contacted Dodge and spoke with Eric in the service department who had me bring the vehicle in the next day and the service manager, Crisiree, would take a look at it. My Ram developed the dreaded "hemi tick" so I made an appointment to have it serviced. Shane, in service had the problem diagnosed, repaired and appropriately covered under warranty in a very reasonable amount of time. On the positive side, the staff is always welcoming and professional. They ve always found the problem.On the negative side, two dashboard alert lights means two diagnostics at $150 a piece. Changing a light bulb and updating the software in a control chip cost $400, which seems absolutely egregious to me. I long for my days on the mainland when the guys at Midas would change bulbs and run diagnostics for free. There s needed repairs on my car I can t get done just because I can t afford it. There s unneeded repairs that I won t get done because I have way better uses for the $450 a new thermometer sensor would cost me.They do good work here, but good heavens it will cost you.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Took my car in for a safety inspection. I was asked if I wanted an oil change as well. I wasn t sure as to when the next maintenance was due. The service person looked up my records and told me about my warranty, what was covered and when it will expire. I gladly accepted the oil change. They replaced a defective headrest. Great service - pleasant, efficient, timely and professional. Neat, clean shop. Comfortable waiting room. Clean restroom. Entire staff was very courteous. I definitely recommend their service department.
