Rebuilt my starter last year with them ...Tac weld on post broke 7 months later or so , bumpy road or pothole ...Warranty was honored and new post was welded on the spot moments after bringing it back in . Quality work ethic and prices .

I was referred to this company when my starter went out on my backhoe. These guys rebuilt it fast and the price was reasonable.A few weeks later the same starter was overheating and the issue was most likely from over cranking the machine to bleed the fuel lines. They explained the issue and repaired for me at no cost.I'm not saying that they'll do that every time, but good story none the less to tell about customer service, genuine concern, and being part of a community.I would highly recommend bringing them your business before anyone else!Oh, and they like turtles

The owners of this establishment are phenomenal people. It's a family business, and it shows in their attitude, charisma and attention to quality work. They are not only fast and efficient, they are affordable, looking oftentimes for ways to save their clients money.Ask Pat, if you dare, about Covid,Trump, the Gold Standard, or the Bible...hope you brought something to eat! it might be awhile.Great business. Great people. Great Value.....I highly recommend rocky mountain rebuilders for your alternator and starter needs.

Excellent quick service with a two hour turnover to rebuild a starter. Runs like a charm and locally owned. It took me longer to get the starter out and in than it took them to rebuild it. They're on the corner now in a larger building.

These amazing people saved my life literally. They went above and beyond to help me with my car. I can't even exclaim how thankful I am towards them for helping me. This should be your number one stop if you're having a starter,alternator,or charging system issue. Amazing people,amazing service,amazing price! These are the kind of people that remind you there's still good in this world. Thank you guys

The first time I went there with my truck it had been parked in Volcano in the rain for 2 years. The truck would not start and the dash board cluster would not work.Other local shops wanted $700 to replace the cluster alone. Another $1000. to replace the starter. Patrick the owner found a used dash cluster. Replaced another part on the starter and only charged me UNDER $ 200. DOLLARS for the whole job. Meanwhile my door handle broke on my Toyota Prius. Toyota dealership is next door. They quoted approximately $550. to replace it . I got a 2nd opinion from another mechanic. Same price. I called Patrick to see if that was something he could repair. He told me to bring it by. I took it to him about 10am on 5/7/2020 at 11am he was done and fixed it for $80.DOLLARS. It was not broken but had slipped due to my heavy hand. Patrick and his wife and son run the place. If you are tired of being ripped off call these guys next time. I will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After a drawn out effort to revive the starter for an 84 vanagon waterboxer, I consulted with the head honcho and opted to let him and his boys rebuild the old Bosch factory unit I thought beyond salvage. For a great price and in a couple of hours, I got back a powerful revived device beyond my expectations. Nice family biz on main drag in Hilo, Hawaii. Top shelf work.

The owner are very helpful and informative. He showed and explained what was wrong with my alternator. Man of his word, one day service while everyone said 1-4 weeks.
