Napa is always good for brake rotors and the like. I had to take back the battery I bought a couple of years ago and they helped me. Good place for tools. Some of the parts are a little weird but that's Napa. Usually fit fine.

This Aluminum Rim cleaner they suggested works amazing, way better then anything I have ever used in all the past, and best of all it's just spray on and wash it off.

Came right before store closed on a Saturday and uncle Ronne front desk guy helped me with my windshield wiper purchase and helped me install it. Great customer service with aloha and much mahaloz for the help when needed.

Always on point. The staff has been great and knowledgeable. It's hard when you go into a parts shop and you have to explain everything to a clerk- these folks are on it and seem to always double check things before sending you out the door. Still great. The clerk I usually deal with tells me the pricing as he scans things in. Which is super helpful when things can get mislabeled.

Always able to get what you need here, they re friendly and helpful whenever I may need something. I appreciate the staff taking precautions because each person s health is a different story and has different needs whether it s the employee or the customer. They re obviously following what s required legally by the state protocols as well despite other s opinions. Good for you Napa and your employees. Thanks for being a place that services and provides community support.

Excellent customer service by Randall and Romo, the paint experts! Answered all my questions and were happy to assist me in choosing my paint products. They were both cordial, informative and a credit to the NAPA team! Kudo's to both of them! A very happy customer!

I find this place to be very well stocked ,organized , & clean. The associated at the store have always been friendly & helpful & I have been there on several occasions. This time I was looking for an uncommon size battery for a generator. Unfortunately they do not stock this particular Item. The associate researched for possible alternatives but there were none. He was more than helpful in referring me to another company that he felt certain would have the battery I needed. Excellent!!

Always a great experience here. What they may not have in stock due to age of vehicle, they are relatively quick at ordering it in. The plus here is that there are other stores on the island. On many occasions, going early in the day, I've been able to get a part that afternoon - delivered from one of the other stores. Staff here is always friendly and helpful. There's almost never a long wait for service.

Notably the friendliest auto parts store I've been to. Way nicer than anyone on the mainland. Not only was helped finding a few odds and ends for and oil change, but two different employees actively helped and found lower priced versions of what I needed for me.

I needed a radiator hose for my wife's car. I gave the part number to the man behind the counter, and he had the part within two minutes. Super fast, super friendly, highly recommended!

Absolute scam business. Selling you a product they assure you can return if any issues and or if its the wrong item. As soon you walk out the door and or find out the part is made in china poc and or it doesnt fit etc, they will be very hestiant to offer you your money back and at the most accept it with fees associated even if in brand new condition. Dont expect good customer service here they clearly dont care. Save your money and go to oreillys autozone or possibly another napa.

I am very old school and new. Thanks NAPA for providing me with the purchase of a replacement battery for my 2012 Nissan Rogue Special edition. I had it service @ my local dealer in Keaukaha did a good job diagnosis of battery. Much Mahalo.

I ordered and paid for an oil catch and when it came in they forgot to call me. I went to get it, and they had my receipt, but they didn't document something right and couldn't decide if I had already picked it up. They didn't want to give it to me so I called the police and wrote this review. Results TBD, but this is absurd. Terrible

I've been here several times now and all the staff remember me, I get smiles and waves. These guys are great! And usually cheaper than there competition!

I m writing this review as a comparison between Napa and O reilly and will be posting it on both stores. I m a gear head and have used both these stores extensively and the difference couldn t be bigger! This is coming from a white dude so it s clear I m not getting any special treatment as a local or a cute girl! Also I used to work at a large auto part store so I not only seeing things from a customer perspective.Friendliness and helpfulness is probably the biggest defining factor. At Napa, several guys have gone above and beyond the requirements of professionalism. I ve been amazed repeatedly at how helpful they are offering help and advice before I even ask. On the other hand, O reilly s guys seem to hate their job and are just waiting to clock out. I haven t had any terrible experiences other than waiting forever in line but at the same time I ve never had a remarkable experience either.The other huge factor is PHONES! As an auto parts store you gotta be on it with the phones. Sometimes I m making a special trip from an hour away just to come get a part and I need to know if you have it in stock. Out of all the times I ve called O reilly, I think they ve answered once. I ve even had them pickup and then hang up several times just to make it stop ringing. WTH! Napa has never failed to answer the phone after several rings cause they know that s a vital part of business.So why do I still visit both stores? I will always choose Napa whenever possible but they don t stay open in the evening which is often when I want to stop in after work to grab a part. Also, O reilly has a specialty tool lending program that is extremely helpful. I just wish Napa would offer this like every part store on the mainland does. Also, sometimes O reilly s prices are too good to pass up if it s a part that doesn t require Napa quality.So basically, I wish I could never go anywhere but Napa but sometimes you gotta.

Even when few people are in this store, there is always a wait for one of their cashier's, who are also the folks advising, going off to find parts, and doing inventory. Inefficient, but they do have the most parts and accessories under one roof. Patience, Grasshopper.

Well stocked. Most employees seem to have great attitude compared to NAPA in Kamuela. Not a complaint, because who knows what's going on with those guys, it's just a fact.

Jake, an employee there probably just saved my job going above and beyond- broke down on saddle road simple fix new radiator cap. Spent 25 minutes trying to call Oh-really s, couldn t even get anyone to pick up. Jake had me squared away in 3 minutes. Mahalo!

Napa always has the parts you need. Anything I've needed auto wise they have. And quality parts, friendly helpful staff. You might pay a little bit more but worth it

I'm an auto mechanic based in Hilo and I wrench/repair cars & trucks for a living.. Went to the Hilo store, to pick up a few truck parts for a truck and shop for electrical hardware. First thing there is I was told to stay out side the store and for me to call by phone and speak to a parts clerk to get my parts that i needed well I did... All I got was negative feed back from the parts clerk I was speaking to... : ( NAPA has gone CHINA & TAIWAN anyway & I've found that a large variety of their OEM Metal automotive Parts don't actually fit half the time & their parts rust out before your eyes in a few weeks.. Their prices for parts went up ridiculously " Taking Advantage of Price Gauging the people, while this China Flu bug is over played by most merchants through out HiloI WONT BE GOING BACK TO THIS NAPA HILO STORE UNTIL THEY GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER and get Better Parts Clerks to Service their Customers ... Big Mistake NAPA, Lose Money!

NAPA has improved a lot in the last 5 years. Now you have knowledgeable and helpful parts guys at the counter. Parts are higher quality than elsewhere.
