He was professional and cared about our situation. He made sure we got home with our car in a timely manner after noticing that the tow truck we was waiting for hadn't come in hours so he took the tow for us and got the payment from the service we had. I would recommend him to everyone. 5 stars for his company.

%100 PRO.Never thought I will leave a positive review for a towing company but Steve deserves it.Cost me almost $1000 to get my friends car towed from the very top of Mauna Kea to mechanic in Hilo but that is the price of adventure...;))FULLY RECOMMENDED. HOPE YOU WILL NEVER NEED IT ;P

We ve used Pacific Island Towing twice and were happy each time! Steve is a really nice guy. He s friendly, yet very professional and willing to go that extra mile to help anyway he can. We called Pacific Island Tow to pick up a Jeep I had just purchased on the other side of the island. Unbeknown to me, the Jeep was left parked in the worst way for a tow. It was parallel parked between a house and a tree. Steve spent an hour pushing the Jeep (it wouldn t start) to get it cleared for a hook up. It must have been grueling and I felt terrible, but Steve was willing and able to make sure I got my Jeep as planned. He kept me informed every step of the way too, which I really appreciated. The prices are very fair and reasonable too. Zero complaints and super grateful.Mahalo Steve and Pacific Island Towing!

I called Pacific Island Towing after my tire blew out on my way home. Steve was fast in his response, professional, and personable. He provided me with a reasonable rate and went above and beyond. He made sure I was ok, that I had adequate photos for my insurance company, and delivered my car home safely. He even took my tire off for me. Though I hope to not need a tow again, I would absolutely call him!

Had a wonderful time just right after a terrible incident. Our car(Jeep rangler) stopped in the middle of the road of a mountain unexpectedly, so I was waiting for towing service at the ranger s center.Steve was so fast to help us out, and tried to contact us as enough as he can so we could know exact ETA and when to finish.Thanks to Steve and Oscar(the ranger of maunakea), I fortunately finished the trip in kona with great memory.I really appreciate that.Service: Car towing

Great communication! Steve is full of Aloha, very thoughtful and kind. He called to warn me that he might be a little late, which I didn t mind but he wasn t. He was great with my 7yr old son and he gave me a price lower than the other guys. Nicest tow truck driver ever!

Steve was great, he kept me advised of his schedule. After he took my van off the Highway and got it to the house. On his own time he looked at the problem I was having.He gave his best idea of what I should do, that allowed me to successfully complete the repair. As they say Bob s your Uncle

Broke down on the side of the road late one night with a leaking transmission. We called Steve from Pacific Island Towing, and he came to get us in a timely manner. His truck is the kind that loads your vehicle on the bed, so your vehicle is not getting pulled behind. In all a great experience. We felt safe and well cared for, and his rate was very fair. I highly recommend. Mahalo, Steve!!

This was our best experience with a Big Island towing Company ever! Our SUV had lost the rear tire, stranded on a jungle road near Pohoiki, night was approaching. The competition told us no way, they wouldn t come to pick it up until the following day. The SUV would have been picked apart or torched by then. Called Paradise, Steve answered promptly, had clients with him in route to the airport after dropping their damaged car. He communicated every step of the trip and advised us once finished he would be on his way. He sent the invoice via a website, we paid, he arrived in Pohoiki, and delivered the car to our home. Kudos to Steve for his willingness to go beyond expectations. This experience was so superior to his horrible competition that AAA contracts with, Steve will be our go to guy.

I Would like to share my personal experience with Pacific Island towing LLC I had locked my keys, purse, phone, etc. in my car at my residence in the p.m. I called for their services they responded promptly did it wait long and professionally they were able to unlock my car I highly recommend them, and I have added them to contacts in my own phone for towing services

Steve was very efficient and timely with his service. I booked a key programming appointment days out to give me some time to find a towing company to get my car to Toyota. I had no luck as other companies were unable to schedule me or could not accommodate me as I have a driveway that is steep and narrow. Pacific Island Towing had proper equipment to accommodate me and Steve was able to move my appointment with Toyota a day earlier thanks to his towing relationship with Toyota. So grateful for his help! I get to have my car back sooner than later!Service: Car towing

Had a completely flat tire, I was in a highly trafficked area and tight parking lot. Not an easy place to do any kind of mechanical work on a truck... Or to be able to find good parking for their flat bed. They arrived 40 minutes early, which was awesome, found a way to make due with the high traffic and limited working space. The fun didn't end there, my truck requires a specific tool to remove the spare tire which I didn't have, so they then did everything they could to find some way to remove the tire by coming up with many different parts of their own, it was getting dark at this point and the mood never felt anything less than professional and uplifting. I drove out of their relieved and on a solid tire thanks to Pacific Island Towing. MAHALO

My car -- with a dead battery -- was parked in the long-term parking at the Hilo airport. He came out right away and gave me a boost. Speed and customer service were equally great! He even showed a trick to boost my car. Because it's a Volvo, the idiot designer placed the battery under the back (truckish). He showed me how to boost it without having to crawl through the car. Yes, crawl, because the backdoor and tailgate do not open by key, only electronically. Another stupid Volvo design.

Called 3-4 towing companies but they were all busy to go up the mountain. Made one call Pacific Island Towing and they were on their way right way. First great thing: he answered my call! While I called other tow companies, Steve was the only to answer and respond quickly and professionally. He was clear in communication and very friendly when he picked up my car. Nice flat bed truck. I totally trusted him with my vehicle. I plan to call him every time we need a tow!

Wow.. I was impressed with how above and beyond the service was. This man was reassuring and went above and beyond in kindness and even helped check some basic things on my car, tighten some bolts on a leak and gave me great advice. He kept a lot of alert for our safety for my son being away from traffic and appreciate the warm hearted presence and knowledge. Despite my wreckless mishap of locking my keys in my car and being far from home with my son.. I drove away feeling good about the unfolding of life, even grateful.
