It's a dealership and any repair is expensive as all get out. Choke dollars even for the small stuff. Drop off is pretty painless. Was told the job was two hours. Dropped car off on time. Called in afternoon to see expected completion time so I could plan transportation. Was told car would be done the next day in the afternoon. Not sure what the hiccup was but we finally paid the $1800 bill and car is fixed.

I had Awesome customer service from Thessica. My car needed repairs and she was quick with getting on the horn with my warranty company and getting me a quick quote. Repairs might have seemed long, but it's a good excuse when we live on an island and parts take time to get in. The Mechanics always does an excellent job. Awesome Job Team, Keep up the Great Work!!

We went to them with badly damaged credit thinking that like everyone else they would turn us away or try to sell us something we really didn't want. They listened to us, found us financing, and the perfect car for our current needs, all while being friendly and respectful. We will be buying our next car from them.

I don't write many reviews but feel compelled to write this one. I blew the transmission on my truck. I felt like it was the dealerships fault. I dealt Reyn the service manager. I wasn't very nice, and pretty angre. He deescalated the situation, great people skills. We came to an arrangement and he repaired my truck at great expense to the dealership. It still cost me a lot of money but I was treated fairly and my truck was fixed right. He just called me a few days after I picked the truck up just to see if everything was working correctly. Very impressed.

It took 6 weeks from when first called to get my a/c fixed on a 2019 vehicle. I do understand that having more than one thing wrong takes longer, so having to leave it there overnight wasn't a problem to me, but having to wait another 3 weeks for an appointment to get the parts put in and then spending 7 hours (waiting people being given priority) in the waiting area where the WiFi is rather limited (never got my Chromebook to work, so the few times I got on I had to deal with email and a Zoom meeting on a tablet, dealing with 250+ work related emails in the process). The service staff were nice to deal with, and I'm sure they can't do much about what is missing there.

First, the lady in the service department was very friendly and nice.I brought in my convertible after someone stole a lighting harness off it. She said she would call me in a day or two, after she checked with the mechanic.I never heard back. I figured they just got busy. So I called. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone didn't have a clue what I was talking about. I explained who I spoke with and what she had said when I brought the car in. I left my name and number with him.Again. Never heard a thing back.

I brought my vehicle in twice for service. Both times they didn't fix a thing. The first time, they tried to flash the abs, but said they couldn't and offered no solution, but charged me still. The second time in they said they couldn't do an alignment because I needed the new tie rod ends replaced. Turns out two nuts needed turn to be tightened, but that didn't stop them from quoting me almost 900$ to replace them. Maybe their sales is better, but don't waste your time with their service department.

I had a blast going to Orchid Isle Ford! The service was amazing and the staff friendlier than I could ever imagine. They helped me understand everything I needed to know about the car I was interested in and even helped me find the best car loan available with my credit score, I even got to leave with the the very car the same day! I want to bring attention to both Chuck and Jamie for their stellar service. They went above and beyond to make sure to get me the best deals and service and for that I am forever grateful, especially since it was my first car ever. Thanks guys! Trust them, they will get you what you want.

There was no pressure. Orchid isle had my second choice. I stopped by and spoke to Kristian. He was great. I felt that they took to heart on why it was so important I get a new car. The price was right, mileage low and most of all Kristian and Jamie were great. Thank you so much for putting my son and I in a safe vehicle.

I want to take a minute to rate my recent experience at Orchid Isle Auto Center. As you can see I gave it 5 stars. I was in the market for a new/used vehicle that needed to have a 3rd row seating. My Salesman, Charles Paulino, and Sale Manager Jaime Kerr was very knowledgeable, thorough, and detailed oriented throughout my whole buying process. They went above and beyond what I expected and then some and for that I am truly and greatly appreciative. They found a way to make everything work in my favor and I couldn't have asked for much more than that. If you're a first time buyer or in the market for another vehicle, I would definitely recommend Orchid Isle Auto to any one who is ready to purchase a vehicle.

I needed a part of my car and they had to have it shipped in from the mainland. They contacted me in a timely fashion when it arrived. The representatives were kind and helpful. They are even keeping the part safe for me until the installation date. Thank you.

I have purchased many vehicles both in Hilo and Honolulu and I can honestly say that Orchid Isle Auto Center is the best place to purchase vehicles. This past month I purchased two vehicles from Orchid Isle Auto Center and both times the service I received was outstanding. When you go there, ask for Chucky Paulino. Not only is Chucky very helpful and friendly, he is honest, sincere, and trustworthy. He will get you the best possible deal and work hard to get you into the vehicle of your dreams. When your car needs repairs or servicing, Chucky will be right there to help you. If you are in the market for a new or used car, go down to Orchid Isle Auto Center and see Chucky Paulino (he's the best!).

Their service department is the worst of all on this island.Every time I called them, they said they are with customer and tells me that they will call me back as soon as they got their hand open. Which never happened and I have to call them again and again.I finally realize that they won't give me an update after more than 5 calls within 2 days so I decide to call the manager instead and finally got the update. And this is 2 weeks after I brought my car. (Also they only did diagnosis and never even started on repairing it).If you are bringing your car to their service department, don't expect them to give you update of your car. You may have to wait until they finish the repair.

TLDR: 11/10 do not recommend.Reserved a bronco, and was eagerly awaiting Jan 17th to place my order. Once the time came, I reached out and spoke to a few different sales people who all told me a different story. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe they were swamped with orders. I kept trying, but no one would let me place my order, even when confronted with articles PUBLISHED by FORD stating all reservations can now convert. I contacted them for WEEKS by phone (because they refused to answer any emails) and a majority of the time got the run around, and a "oh we'll call you back"- which btw, they didnt. Finally gave up with their BS and switched to an oahu dealer.. Fast forward to today- I get a missed call from the dealership, and a VOICEMAIL THREATENING to cancel my reservation unless I call them in 2 HOURS to place my order. Like I didn't go above and beyond to try and work with them. Also, per FORD, I can hold onto my res for '22 production, dealerships shouldn't be canceling because their panties are in a bunch.. What the hell?! Gas light much? Good luck in your sales carreer Mike. GLAD TO HAVE DODGED A BULLET HERE! Trash attitudes, trash service.

I have a 2015 F150 at ~60k miles that had an issue with the windshield wipers not shutting all the way off. When calling Orchid Ford I was quoted $600 before tax - they needed 1 hour of diagnostic time, 2 hours to resolve the issue due to them "needing to tear the dash apart", $150 for the part itself, and I couldn't make an appointment to wait while it was being fixed but could drop it off so they "would get to it when they could". My 13 year old son found the online forum discussing how these multi switches need to be replaced every 60k, watched a YouTube on how to do it, got the part from O'Reilly's for a whopping $54 and had it fixed in less than 20 mins with only touching 4 screws on the steering column!

Purchased a car from them along with the extended service package and now they are saying that they dont have the tools or equipment to service my car.. wish sales spoke to the service department to get their facts straight.Update: 8/2/18Ford dealership is taking care of my car because it's still has warranty but they have to send it to Oahu. They provided me with a loaner.. Duke was very helpful along with jamie (hope that's his name). They made this less stressful. I adore their professional attitude and the way they get things done in a timely manner.. thank you.

Liars. If I could give negative stars I would.I recently had my van for sale because my family and I are moving off island, and was contacted by a salesman at Orchid Isle Ford. He told me that he was looking for a van like mine and that his dealership would be willing to buy it. I informed him that we had already shipped my husband's rig off, that we using the van daily to get my husband back and forth to work until we left in 3 weeks. I asked him if he would be willing to wait to take possession of the van unti the day before we left since rentals are expensive here on the island. He informed me that is was for a customer and that he had to have it that day or the next day, so I asked him to check with his manager and while he did that, I would make my decision depending on what kind of deal I could find on a rental. When he called back, he informed me that his manager had said they would buy it at slightly less than I owed on it if I were willing to pay the small remaining balance. I then talked to his manager and was told the same thing again. So I went got a 200.00 rental that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to afford if I weren't selling the van, went to the dealership with the van and was told nevermind. They said that because of the few small scratches in the otherwise great condition paint on my 2014 Dodge Grand caravan RT that only has 55k miles on it,they decided not to buy it outright and wanted me to consign it to them overnight to show to the customer in the morning. Since I was already knee deep in this mess, I decided why not. I was told they would contact me the next day about what the customer had decided and they would detail the van beforehand to make it look really nice (mind you, it was hardly dirty to begin with). The salesman told me that he needed 3 vans and was having a hard time finding them in good condition. I was told the next day that the customer said no and that I could come pick up the van. Mind you, my husband had the rental car at work and I was home with my 4 kids and my husband didn't get off of work usually until after they closed. So I had to get a ride to town to go get the van that I had been insisted to the day before the dealership was going to purchase. Now I have a rental car I can't afford because they didn't hold true to their word and buy the van like they said they would. 200 for the rental would have been more than covered by the sale of the van since then I wouldn't have to pay to ship it. There's nothing wrong with the van, it's fully loaded, has low miles and looks good for its age, I just didn't want to have to go through the hassle of shipping it. So I show up to the dealership and ask to be reimbursed for the rental car they caused me to get under false pretenses and was told that "because they weren't going to make any money off of the sale, (the sale that they didn't make) that they would not be helping me with the cost of the rental. WTH? How can you refuse to make a situation right based off of deal you didn't make in the first place?? Now I know car dealerships can be professional liars and manipulators, but never in all my dealings with dealerships have I ever been told "yes, we've already got the paperwork done, all you have to do is come down and sign" only to have them back out and not even bat an eyelash. I trusted them, they knew what I needed and promised to make it happen. THEY approached ME about my vehicle. They agreed to a price and told me come down to sign, knowing I have kids and had to get a rental to make it all happen. When I got the van back, (THAT WASN'T EVEN DETAILED LIKE THEY SAID IT WOULD BE!) I told them that they were screwing me out of $200. They just showed me the door and said "sorry". They claimed that the "condition" it was in made it not worth the $11,250 THEY offered ME and said that they can get 2019 vans for 14k. I asked why they even bothered me then if that was the case and they had nothing to say. I left. Never have I been so insulted or flat out lied to! AND I USED TO SELL CARS MYSELF!! Shame on you Orchid Isle Ford!

The salespeople at Orchid Island Ford are some of the best salesmen I know. They have no problem letting you decide what you need in a car and don t push you towards anything else. I love working with them and would not go elsewhere.

Took Ford Ranger in for the airbag recall. They gave a waiting room or you can take the shuttle to the mall. It was raining hard so I stayed at the dealership and read a book. The work took less than 2 hours and they brought my truck to me under the awning so I would not get wet. Great service!

Just got a quote for a transfer case. They had to get it from Napa and they marked it up eight hundred bucks. Beware , do not buy parts from them if you don't have to. Then I took it in for diagnostic test and they wanted to charge me a full hour for everything they looked at. Meaning if you had ten things to get looked at you would be paying fifteen hundred dollars just to get it diagnosed no matter how long it took. I told them they were crooks and then got it diagnosed for free at Mike's in pahoa. Beware they will nickel and dime you to death and charge you for stuff they shouldn't. Also be aware, if you make an appt. It it will not be looked at at the time your appt and they don't tell you that. A bunch of crooks.

This dealership sales department is low class, or at least Weldon is. I called in about making an offer of 43k for a f150 2018 lariat. Weldon spoke disrespectfully, I am taking my business out of state. Good luck selling that truck you paid 35k for 54k. I can get a brand new truck for 54k on the mainland with 0 miles.

Orchis isle has extremely long lists for service. Their customer service people don't address you even to say they will be with you in a moment. They also don't call when they say they will to give updates. Don't try to make appointments online because after 3 months and multiple follow up emails still haven't heard from them.

Disrespectful scam artists. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with dealerships like this. Can t believe how they take advantage of the people on the island. It s cheaper and easier to buy a vehicle on the mainland and have it shipped here. Not sure how they are still in business.
