The have some of the nicest knowledgeable staff in town. the parts are low to mid prices. They do have a few jerks that work there you will know when you get them. just ask for someone else to help you. Some of the "older" gentlemen have went above and beyond to help me. I know cars, but they live cars n trucks!

I d like to thank Johnathan, Lance who since transferred, and Reggie for helping me through getting a part through LKQ to O Reilly s Hilo. Very cost effective considering my $800 quoted part at Chevrolet costed less than $200. No shipping costs, just a longer wait time because it came snail mail (a big bumper cover). But, considering the part was not supported by Amazon to this zip code, it was well worth the wait. The O reilly s team came through for me. Thank you!

Very helpful staff. Made my search easy. Told them the make, model, year and what I needed and they did the rest including fetching it off the shelf.I also like that they are open late. I don't get home from work until 7pm and that's the time I have to work on a car.

These guys are incredible! I have a big truck, and they ve nearly always had the parts I need in stock. When they didn t have stock, they had it in my hands in 24 hours. I ve gotten everything from tail light lenses to transmission coolant lines and power steering hoses. Reasonable prices. Thanks guys!

First I called and the girl said that it wasn't in stock and it would be 4-5 days if I wanted to order it. Discouraged I decided to just go get a Sub and figure out something. Sitting there at Subway, I googled the brake master cylinder for my truck and O'Reilly's popped up showing it as in stock and available to pickup. Excited I ran across the parking lot and showed the counter guy a screenshot of their website showing the part in stock. He grabbed it right away and off I went. Now is the unfortunate part of the story, the casting was off and the mounting setup was slightly to big for the reservoir to seat properly. So I still didn't have the part, spent over $120 for a part that I can't use, and they won't refund because it was installed for all of five minutes. So Hate you guys very much and Aloha

The woman who just answered the phone today wed, jan 25, 2023 at 1500 was rude and had a bad attitude. Seemed to have the answer right away to my question without giving me any other options but the higher priced item. She didnt even ask me what year my car was and said "yup" "yup, thats all i have" "yup $182 plus 22 for blah blah blah" mind you, i called 3 times and no one answered before she did on the 4th try. The 3rd try someone picked up and immediately put it on hold without even telling me im being put on hold. It just stop ringing and went to beeping for 10 minutes and no one still answered. Ive been a loyal O'Reilly's customer for more than 15 years going with my father and gfather till i went myself. Its not the first time i experienced bad customer service and BAD attitude from these employees. Sorry not sorry Autozone here i come

Bought a brand new Alternator and Battery and then went to a shop to fix the truck less than a month later. The mechanic recommended that we return the Superstarter battery because it s known to kill alternators, and get warranty on the alternator. So we took the battery and alternator back and found out that they messed up and originally sold us a rebuilt alternator even though we paid the price for a brand new one. Then they rejected the return of the battery despite it being before the 60 days and we had the original receipt. My bf said the excuse for the wrong product was the worker who sold it was new and they gave him attitude. Then proceeded to no longer help him any further and recommended we get help from interstate batteries.

We ordered a generator online to pick up in store. It was a super easy transaction. It was ready quickly the morning after the order. The employee who helped me was great! He was friendly and professional and brought everything out and loaded it up into my vehicle.

Great service by Daylin buying new rain windshield wiper blades; they install them for you. 5-6 people working there made the line go fast (at 4:30pm)$75 for two new blades but I d rather have it done, and I m tired of buying on Amazon.

Staff is helpful, they carry lots of parts and can get parts quick that they don't have. The rewards program is great for people that work on cars often.

Staff is awesome. God forbid you actually need some thing. While in store stock may save you a little time, the in store stock is very limited. Most vehicles on this island are metric, yet tool stock is sae. And just about any part is available at less than 1/3 rd online from anyone else. For example I bought an 8" coolant line for 15 dollars, and it was the worst quality hose section i have ever seen. The hose was the right shape but the ends looked like they where hand cut with no symmetry. Im sure most people already know. Order online. O'Reilly's is unreliable.

Not the cheapest! But, warranty is unwatchable and the workers are the most knowledgeable and helpful group I have ever encountered! A must experience! They are just a tad higher priced but they blow that difference by their total customer service! Clean store and nice people! Go and see it, you'll be happy,happy, happy!

My wife had a silly accident and lost the oil cap at the gas station. John at the Hilo branch was understanding, assisting me over the phone and within 20 minutes, she was capped and on her way to work. Mahalo John
