The guys here at Kamaaina Motors are legit! This was my first time buying brand new, and they made this a hassle-free process getting into my dream SUV, a 2024 Durango RT. Special shout out to Jon Cravalho for making it happen. If you re considering a vehicle I highly recommend coming in, taking a look, and talking stories. They took a lot of stress out of the process for me.

Went in as a first time buyer not knowing anything about buying a car from a dealership. I was not sold a dream that would be unattainable. Donovan Alonzo sold me a truck that was actually in a price range that I am able to manage. Down to earth, he leveled with me and informed me of a lot of things from factors permitting sale to post sale tips. Our very first time purchasing a brand new vehicle. We had no idea what we were going to get approved for. Ed & Steve worked very hard to fit a brand new jeep renagade trail hawk into our budget! Choosing Kama aina Motors for my new vehicle purchase was the best decision. Ed Dela was amazing at helping me find the right vehicle that suited my needs and was extremely patient with me throughout the entire process. Ed worked with Steve the manager there to get the best value on my trade in and an amazing rate with the bank. Both of them were kind and very helpful throughout the entire process. The whole team here, from Sales to Service feel like they are on the same team. The Sales guys complemented and supported one another throughout my entire sales process. And I shopped over 8-dealers in HILO and KONA for a used truck. Craigslist and FB marketplace too. I came back here because they worked with my budget and their vehicles overall were solid and dependable. You llmiss out if you don t go by and at least have a look. LOVE this truck !

I purchased my new Jeep 4-door 4xe hybrid vehicle today from Ed and it was a flawless process!! Ed was very transparent and friendly, answering all my questions and made the entire transaction very simple and stress free. Went in to look at a car I saw they had posted on a Facebook ad, after speaking with Ed I realized that wasn't the car for me. While they didn't have anything on their lot in the used cars that would work for me at the time, he took my number and said he would let me know if something became available. A couple of days later he sent me the pics and CarFax of a couple of cars for me to research and I thought I found one that I liked, the problem was it would take another 10 days for him to get it to their lot for me to come and see. We agreed on that. Meanwhile, I found a 2022 Jeep Compass still under factory warranty at another dealership. I messaged him to let him know what I had found and that I had decided to go with the Jeep instead. He was incredibly gracious and congratulated me on my purchase even though it wasn't through him or his dealership. He also told me that should I need any help getting my new Jeep in for any maintenance or warranty work he would be glad to help me (their dealership is the only Jeep dealer in Hilo). I can't stress enough how patient, understanding, and helpful he has been. I would highly recommend Ed at Kama'aina Motors to anyone looking to either purchase a new or new to you car, he went above and beyond (even on his day off) to help me.

My husband and I have been looking for a vehicle that would be best suited for us and our family. We went to Kama aina Motors with hopes to finally find a vehicle and quickly we were approached by Ed. Ed helped us by letting us know the best deals they currently had and pulled up a vehicle for us within 5 minutes. He was so great with all the questions we had and even took us for a test run! During the test run he made our experience very personal and relatable. We talked about our children, marriage, and even football! Ed and his amazing son took great care of our kids by giving them snacks, juice, water, and even carrying my 4 month old daughter. Ed s customer service is beyond excellent and was very impressive but what impressed us more was his professionalism and knowledge on all vehicle and paperwork. I recommend going to Kama aina motors and asking for Ed he is simply the best salesman.

Ed Dela Cruz at Kama aina Motors assisted me and spouse with purchase of a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2021. We had some special an accommodations needed as far as what would work for us and our Alaskan Malamute. Ed was extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable without any pressure! He really listened to exactly we were tried to accomplish with a purchase for a vehicle. Thank you Ed for all you did for us! I would want to thank Ed and the whole team at Kama'aina Motors this was my first time getting a car and they made it very easy to get the car that I really wanted. Their professionalism and timing were spot on during the whole process, even though I was first hesitant about financing a car for the first time Ed had shown me my options to get the car. He made sure that I was able to understand everything that was going on and making sure that everything was rolling smoothly. I absolutely recommend visiting Kama'aina Motors!!!

Had a great experience at Kamaaina motors. Our sales rep, Ed, was great and really gave us time to discuss everything before purchase. He was very straight forward and answered all of our questions. We also got to work with Shane and Steve for payment and they were great as well. Everyone was very accommodating and kept us up to date for every stage of the process. We ll definitely be back when we need another Dodge.

Ed De Leluz we very helpful from the start. He went up and past my expectations. Very professional in all aspects. Very professional I have a hard time walking right now so Ed made. Buying my new 2023 Ram Big Horn very easy. They FedEx my papers to sign and hand delivered my truck to my residence I m so happy. I fully recommend Kama'aina Motors to anyone that is looking for a great car-buying experience. The staff is very friendly and personable and they go the extra mile at helping you find exactly what you're looking for. I stopped by one day with a vehicle in mind, I met with Ed who set up a test drive, and then we talked numbers. Ed was able to help me stay within my budget and get me the car I wanted. He really made us feel like family. And the Mrs is very happy with her Mother's Day present! Mahalo to Ed and the entire staff!

I worked with Ed Dela Cruz. I initially came in looking for a jeep over 6 months ago and encountered Ed. He was motivated to help me find what I wanted. Between that initial encounter and my recent purchase, I deterred from vehicle shopping due to life changes. Ed reached out a few times over the span of those months to follow up with me, and I basically kept him hanging by not updating him on my needs. All this to say, when I was ready to look for another vehicle, Ed was available and eager to help me out even after my past indecisiveness. If that isn t what exceptional customer service looks like I don t know what it is.Once I was serious on making a purchase on a selected vehicle, Ed worked with me to get the best outcome possible which included the vehicle of my choice, a price that beat all other competitors, and an overall smooth purchasing experience. I made my ask, and Ed delivered and some. We went there looking for a change, a refresh of what we would consider our daily driver. We met with Jon Carvalho who took care of us from the get go. He presented us with everything that they had that was on the table and was able to help us choose the right vehicle and eventually led us to drive off with a brand new vehicle. Jon and is fellow staff members are all 5 star rated. Service department is a joke. Have no clue what they are doing. Quoted me $700 for repair. Week later $1500. Few days later $5000. Thought if I took to dealer for Jeep would get best service, not ripped off. Utter incompetence.

My husband surprised me with a beautiful brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee. The night before he purchsed my car, I was shopping online for a Dodge Durango. He went into Kamaaina Motors to look for one. They didn't have any in inventory of Durangos, but my husband was determined to find me something I'd love. He chose a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 3rd row seating in a gorgeous dark blue color. He expressed his satisfaction with the service he received from Delvin and crew. He was treated with respect and some of the highest professionalism we've seen from any car dealership on the island (we've been shopping around). The staff made him feel welcomed and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, without the pressure to be sold something that wasn't perfect for our needs. The purchasing process was also extremely fast, he was there for 3 hrs tops and was able to look at multiple vehicle options, take care of financing, insurance and leave with keys in hand. We sincerely appreciate the great experience of purchasing our newest vehicle and we look forward to purchasing future vehicles from Delvin and the rest of the Kamaaina Motors Hilo staff. This dealership is approved and highly recommended by my family and I! 5 stars!

We first went to Kamaaina Motors 3 months ago to look at vehicles for our daughter. Ed Dela Cruz came out and greeted us, didn t push just asked how he could help. As a sales person myself, I truly appreciated that as we were just shopping around . He showed us what he had in our budget and wish list, unfortunately, nothing that really caught our attention. Before we left we saw the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 20th Anniversary Edition but reminded ourselves we were looking for our daughter. But we looked anyways 3 months later, I m wanting a new car for myself so I reach out to Ed and he said they still had the Jeep if I wanted to check it out. I did a lot of the paperwork online which was very convenient for me. Ed said that he and Steve would work on it and do their best to make it work for us. They knew what our budget was and our wish list. And they came through with flying colors!!! They checked every box and made the decision so easy! I was amazed!!! If you re looking for new ride, you gotta check out Ed, Steve, Shane .. and maybe Junior Ed (JED) at KAMAAINA MOTORS, they take care and they make it SUPER EASY!!! PS: this is the 2nd time we worked with Steve and both times, just amazing!!! He works wonders!!!

Ed Delacruz was a helpful salesperson. While I didn't end up buying a vehicle there, he actively looked for vehicles that would fit my family's needs. He would send me messages when new options became available. He was responsive, patient and courteous. The staff there is very friendly, patient and charismatic. In the end the pricing was higher than what I was looking to spend.

My son was shopping for a vehicle and this was the 3rd place we came to and the last place we went to cuz they were awesome! Jon Carvalho helped us, made the process nice and showed us all of the best options for him. And he found his new vehicle! Jon is a great guy and understands all the vehicles cuz he was able to show him all the gadgets! Would highly recommend him if looking for a vehicle.

Let me start by saying I usually do my own general maintenance. However, my '23 Jeep Gladiator had a recall on the manual transmission to attend to. I can't do that one on Warrantee/recall notice on my own.I began by calling Kama'aina Motors parts department to coordinate the procurement of the required parts to do the recall service and that went very well. Once the parts were in it was an easy call to make the service appointment. My service Advisor was Crisiree who beyond being a cheerful and pleasant person was very good at arranging my service appointment to accommodate my hours drive to the dealership. Crisiree proved excellent at coordinating the two events I had to get done: one being the recall issue, the other matching my new key fob to the truck. I had bought the new fob on the mainland after my son went swimming with the old one. I appreciate that Crisiree and the dealership did not give me too much grief about not having bought it locally, I am sure I could have without any trouble, but I wanted to be sure I had a new one in hand when I went in to Kama'aina Motors (it was a real Jeep item from my first dealership on the Mainland, not Amazon!).In addition, during the recall work, it was found that there was an oil leak from the valve cover of the engine and Crisiree coordinated the warrantee repair of that leak in addition to my two requests, all within the expected time frame for the original work.Bottom line: I believe Crisiree went above the call of duty to coordinate my service requests, coordinated with a tech to repair the oil leak (and thanks to the tech for noticing the leak!), and on her own looked up the information on my truck and found the issue was covered under warrantee! Pretty special handling for a truck that wasn't purchased at this dealership. An impressive show of care and coordination and great results. I am impressed with Crisiree as my Maintenance Advisor and the dealership overall-every person I dealt with was a professional. Not many places can really impress a tough customer anymore. Score!
