Great stores. Close proximity to the beach , surfing and surf lessons. Shopping , collectibles , dinning , shaved ice and more. Haleiwa is a must visit Hawaii destination.

I was out selling my unique one of a kind . Christmas bags! In Old Town Haleiwa is a bit busy now because of the winter swell. Alot of surfers and tourists. But so festive and fun to actually see peoples faces and smiles enjoying themselves. Some had masks but for the most part it was an awesome few days handing on the North Shore Market Place. Cool place with the coolest store on Oahu. Love Matsumoto's! Good shave ice at a good price. The bathrooms are a little ways off and the parking requires a short walk but all in all not bad. We were able to park a large vehicle easily.

A must visit while you're on Oahu. The variety of stores here is amazing - everything from local handmade goods to touristy shops to really good shave ice. Make sure to set aside a few hours!

This is a really neat district with a lot of cool surf shops. Lots of places to eat. Saw some people jumping into the water off a bridge.

Cool, friendly place. We went for shave ice, ended up getting some shell necklaces. Husband did his homework about Sunrise Shells Hawaii. No stress shopping.

Spent an afternoon with my 14 yo daughter, and we loved it. Easy parking even on a crowded day. Great variety of shops. Friendly vibes. Lots of benches and cute shops and foodie spots. We had a great day, highly recommend this North Shore oasis! And there is shade!

I used to live on the north shore many years ago and always loved the lil town of Haleiwa... cutest lil surf town. Nowadays it is quite flooded with crowds which takes away a bit from its charm... wish there was a way to balance the mass volume of visitors to our islands. The crowds diminish a lot of its appeal... as much as I love it... I won't be visiting it for a long while because it's just TOO over run with crowds and traffic.

Good selection of food, crafts, clothing, art and food choices. This is also home to the famous Matsumoto shaved ice! I especially enjoyed the art galleries.

Usually go here for the shave ice but decided to actually look around the stores.I'm so happy I did because I was able to pick up more souvenirs and things I otherwise would never have gotten.Only thing is getting to Haleiwa and getting back home cause the traffic sucks.

Cute chilled town center. They have several clothing stores, Marimoto's Shaved Ice, a mini store, art store, and coffee shop.

Lots of boutiques and great art galleries and of course surf shops. Fun to walk around and window shop and visit the stores and galleries. Great dining and food options abound too. Easy to spend a day walking and sight seeing. The cemetery is fascinating too. Friendly people. Watch the roads and traffic though. They are a bit dangerous.
