I am so grateful to find an honest and thorough mechanic. These guys use quality parts and took the time to explain problems with my car. They even double checked a concern I had with a wire which wasn't there fault but even fixed it for me at no charge. If you want it done right and not get overly charged, I highly recommend these guys. The best!

These guys are truly great and I'm happy to give them my business from here on out. After another shop told me that I needed new brakes, I brought my car in to Goldrive for a brake inspection. After just an hour (which was the "promised" time frame), Robert told me that I did not actually need new brakes at all and the ones I had would last me another 20,000 miles! I was so surprised as I had been told I needed new brakes asap at the other shop. I was so impressed by his honesty and integrity, and that he did not try to rip me off by pushing unnecessary repairs like the other guys. He even checked out a few other things during the inspection and filled my air with tires. I will be going to Goldrive from now on for everything from oil changes to new brakes (when I do finally need them). Thank you Goldrive!

Having a mechanic you can rely on truly is gold. Their name suits them well. I ve had lots of experience with different mechanics on the island, and it is such a relief to finally find someone I can *always* rely on. Anytime something is going on with my vehicle, all I have to do is call them. They re busy, but they are so accommodating. What a stressful thing it is when your car is broken down, so to have someone honest you trust to take it to makes all the difference in the world.They re very knowledgeable and transparent, explaining exactly what they re doing. There s never been any surprises. I can 100% rely on them. They ve got the guys in the back who knew exactly what they re doing and they ve got the guys in the front to explain it all to you in layman s terms.They re also very friendly and operate their business with Aloha! I ve been recommending them to my friends in the area actually. I m so grateful for them!

I don t really know anything about cars. This place was recommended by a friend. It can be difficult to find reliable mechanics in Maui. The guys at Goldrive were patient, knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful. I highly recommend bringing your car here if you want fair work done on your car.

Mahalo NUI Goldrive for handling my Toyota Camry s rotor, brake pad and oil maintenance. I called Wednesday, and my car was squeek-free by 5 on Friday, under 48 hours. My bill was a little over $1000. Pay cash or check to avoid a 3% surcharge.Thank you for going above & beyond, saving me time & money by driving the vehicle to my home, since I live very close.I ll return soon with my Tacoma for a minor electrical issue. Can t beat the convenience of you live in Ha'ik .Thank you!!!

Broken water pump and serpentine belt. Called Tomas and he was friendly, knowledgeable and was able to get me in right away. Gave me a solid quote and fixed the problem in one day. Will continue to use them in the future. Thanks!

appreciate my experience with this shop more than five stars...Tom went out of his way to explain issues with my vehicle without making me feel like an idiot. goes a long way for people like me willing to pay for integrity in this realm.Robert went above and beyond showing me what was needed, refused to do a minimal hack job, and delivered the best drive i've had since buying my truck. \gold drive gets my business from here on out. i wish i had more to tip these guys!!

Always great service! I ve been bringing my car to them for the last two years and am super happy with all the work they ve done. I really appreciate how quickly they always fit me in for an appointment and how fast they get the work done. It s very apparent that they care about their work and customer service. I appreciate that they don t recommend work that doesn t need to be done just to make money. Tomaz is always super friendly and helpful explaining things. Definitely recommend and will continue to see them for any car issues I have in the future as well as general service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Super happy I found this place! I needed an oil change and they weren t able to get me in that day but topped up my oil and got me scheduled for another day! They knew I was waiting so got my oil changed fin a timely manner and recomended a body shop to fix the damages to my car from the move! Will definitely be going back here! Mahalo

Robhert and the guys at Goldrive have been wonderful. They are honest and really good mechanics. I have an old 97 Ford pick up truck that they ve been keeping on the road for several years without breaking the bank. I really appreciate them and their care for my vehicles and my pocketbook. We are so happy to know about Gold Drive In Haiku. As the other reviews state, the excellent and kind automotive repair men do what it takes to get your car back to you in short we order. They explained and gave options about why my check engine light was on. They were conservative about what could be safely done now and didn't try to sell me on parts and labor that didnt appear to be needed. Their work is guaranteed for two years!It was a pleasure working with them and they made it convenient for me when both of our family cars would now be getting repaired.

I rarely leave reviews, but this time, I really wanted to. I highly recommend these guys for many reasons. First, their professionalism, then their honesty and the fact that they really care for your best interest. My car had a few issues that had been totally overlooked by the previous people I went to. Here, they took time to assess in depth, found a solution and I ended up not being ripped off and have a car all safe and running perfectly. Mechanics is not my area of expertise or interest and it's pretty tough to know when someone tells you the truth or not, and most of the time, you want to get things done and end up paying more than you should. Here, it's not the case at all AND they tell you exactly what the problems are. Which means you understand perfectly what you are paying for. So don't think twice and just go there if you need to have your car fixed or taken care of by the best!!Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance

Finally a mechanic you can trust. I HIGHLY recommend Golddrive Maui. I've gone to a number of mechanics around the island and they are hands down the best! The mechanics always go above and beyond to deliver excellent service, and make sure the job is done right the first time. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgable, and easy to work with. It's easy to tell they take pride in what they do and I always rest assured knowing they're taking good care of my vehicle, with confidence AND for a reasonable price. They've helped me out a number of times and I couldn't be more thankful to have these guys in the community.

I love this place! Will definitely be coming back!I was prepping my car for car camping this weekend and could NOT get my removable car chairs out. I had friends and neighbors all trying to help for hours. One of my neighbors recommended I come by Goldrive because she loves the mechanics there.I got there just before 4 on a Friday and Robert put everything aside to help me. Something was broken on the mechanics of it, but he eventually got it out and showed me how to do it myself.I am SO grateful! I was thinking about canceling my weekend trip and was bummed. But now I don't need to! Robert was very kind and helpful.Highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back for some other odds and ends I need worked on.Thank you again, Robert!

These guys are awesome and I am very happy to recommend Gold Drive. It s great to have an auto mechanic you can trust. Robhert and his team are always professional, friendly and willing to explain what is going on. We were recommended Robert by a trusted mechanic acquaintance and he has been so great to deal with. We have two European cars (Volvo s), not the easiest to fix and maintain here on Maui! We had a tricky problem on my car, and Robert was able to figure it out and fixed it successfully. He is always so courteous to deal with, answers the phone in a timely manner, rates are very reasonable and will give you an honest assessment of the issue. I am thrilled to find Goldrive, highly recommended by a Haiku friend who just had work done at their shop. I went in for an oil change, and asked for recommendations and an estimate on what needs to be done to keep my 05 Honda Element running for the next 10 years, hopefully. I was very impressed by their professionalism and friendliness, and the shop is clean and organized. Their analysis of needed repairs was what I expected, and the estimate was lower than expected. I had them do the work, and I am so glad I did. My car drives like never before, and I will go to them for all my car needs from now on. I highly recommend Goldrive Maui!

Honestly the best mechanic shop I have ever been too. They are truly honest and have their clients' best interests at heart . Both my fiance and myself take our cars to Goldrive and countless times they have gone out of their way to fit us in even when they are totally full. They always go above and beyond to find us the best deal on parts, which is really something to be said here on Maui, where everything is so much more expensive. At Goldrive you are really taken care of like family, and I know that my family will never take our cars anywhere else.

Highly recommend! We rented a car through Turo and were hearing weird sounds from a tire. We went to Goldrive and they inspected our tire right away and gave us a recommendation. Thank you so much Goldrive Maui!!
