Took my car for an oil leak check not to long ago. I knew something with the oil pan was up but i only wanted them to repair that as I can fix the other issues. Had diagnosed told me vvt solenoids were leaking, valve cover, and oil pan. They wanted to charge me $1500 just to fix 3 things. I declined the other services and only wanted the oil pan as i can fix the other issues. Which it still ended up being $600 . Anyways pick up the car drove it home, lord and behold the check engine light comes on. Check the code and it was for THE VVT SOLENOID THAT I DECLINED TO REPLACE!!!! Checked my wires going to it found whoever was working on my car crossed the wire leads going to it, and broke my plastic clip that held it together. Not only that but they said they did an oil change as they changed the oil pan gasket. FAKAS KEPT THE SAME OIL FILTER I HAD FROM BEFORE!!! I replaced the valve cover gasket and solenoids myself but I am still having an oil leak. People don t trust these dudes maybe except for a safety check. Just learn to work on cars yourself.

I was on my way to drop my Mother in law off for a doctor's appointment when I got a flat tire. Thankfully, Ewa Beach Auto Repair was nearby. The staff was awesome, very professional and they assured me everything would be all right. Luckily, they were able to fix the flat tire quickly and at a fair price, getting me back on the road in no time. They saved the day and I was able to get my mom to her appointment on time. Thank you so much.

The bad reviews are real. They are very hard to contact. Took them almost 4 weeks for a one problem. Their door posted "overbooked". Then don't accept more vehicles if you're overbooked. So we can just go to other auto repairs instead of waiting for almost a month for a response.AND THE WORST PART. One problem turned into thousands of dollars. They kept stating this is broken too, and this needs replacement. Gave the receipt and work done from them to a more competitive mechanic just cause I felt I got duped. He was furious of how much this placed charged me for such simple work.Edit: Wactch as this business replies with a very unprofessional response. Just like he does with all the other bad reviews.

Ewa Beach Auto Repair was great. Had a broken bolt where the water pump was in my Jeep Wrangler, they were able to get it out and put in my new water pump. This was last minute as a walk in, and they were able to get my safety check done too! Great customer service and did the work fast, very happy with their work and service.

Very convenient walk in for Hawaii Safety Inspection. Called the afternoon prior for appointment, receptionist very professional. Arrived first thing next morning, long line, popular service. Again very professional reception, took my info, quoted 45 min, called me half hour later, done. Impressed by safety inspection service, most especially by receptionist by her promptness, smart appearance, and professionalism.

I would characterize this shop as premium service for a premium price. There are certainly cheaper options, but they do great work and are very well run. They don't take appointments, but I have had no trouble getting in on the same day as long as I arrived early. I also like that you can bring your own parts or materials (e.g. oil and filter).

Called last week to schedule a safety inspection - they only take walk-ins 8:00a-3:30p. Show up today to do a walk in at 1:00pm, they stopped at 10am today and gave no reason why. My appointment with satellite city hall is tomorrow to complete registration, and now i have to figure out where takes walk-ins for initial safety inspections. (read: nobody does)Super unprofessional.

We come here to do our safety. There is usually a line but it goes fast. There is people designated to do just safety. There is platy parking. There is a small waiting room with ac.

Went to change my flat tire. When I got there the worker came to my car and took my flat tire out friendly worker . Then i proceeded to the desk. After dropping off my tire 10 minutes when I got home the manager called me and told me that because there was a lot of fix a fat in my tire that is going to cost me $20 more to fix flat so my total cost was $72 to fix my tire.Always always always always always always do not forget to tell the worker when dropping off a tire. That you have fix a flat in your flat tire.

UPDATE TO RESPOND TO THEIR REPLY:Why don't you folks empty your voice messages? You're the one with attitude bro, just because I complained you don't even answer your phones either? But you want me to keep calling and maybe you folks MIGHT answer?? Seriously, it was a blessing in disguise because I found an awesome Auto Shop that checks then clears their message box, and they actually answer their phones too. Guess what? They been in business at their location 10x as long as you folks, they are busy, I had to wait a week for them to schedule me in but I received really great service from them! Happy Holidays to you anyways, I hope you fix your phone problem (as well as your unprofessional attitude to constructive criticism) Called and no answer, their voice message box is "full and cannot record anymore messages". Called again 5 minutes later and still no answer, their voice message box is 'full and cannot record anymore messages". I guess you folks don't want my business.

Out of the blue stopped by and they were able to get me and two vehicles in for service within 20 mins. Very responsive and knowledgeable about Hawaii DMV and inspection process. I intend on going back there in the future for other services. Prices were very reasonable for Hawaii.

I called three days in a row to get my vehicle safetied. They said their inspector was out sick for the first two days (this is understandable of course). The person who answered the phone told me to come when they opened the next day and the mechanic would do the inspection. I drove almost an hour and a half from north side of island so I could get there when they opened and they told me that they couldn t do the inspection because the mechanic was gone too. Didn t apologize or anything. Just had an oh well! attitude.

Lately, car shops to me have been lacking In customer service and quality auto service. This is one of the best car service and customer service I ve experienced for an auto shop thus far. Maile was friendly and very helpful. JR was very knowledgeable and honest with recommendations and service options. My family mechanic left last year. So I decided to get my Safety check done here for the 1st time last month. Waited in line before they opened. Once they did. Line went fairly quick and smooth. Owner/ front desk very friendly patient and professional. Great 1st time experience so I told my daughter to take her car their the next month. Same great experience. I m taking all 5 vehicles there now as we live right down the street. 4 cars, 1 motorcycle.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Went there for a Safety Check was quick and easy. One of the Girls there that assited me on doing my safety check was super friendly, helpful, and patient, it's a shame I didn't get a name.. That last review from RH was real. I was a witness to it. Now the owner just proved to be a liar! So here is my review I have been meaning to post for a year estimate #11167. $2107.36 for an oil leak repair. Suspected to have been aggravated from someone ramming into my tailpipe. Charge $150 for a bogus estimate I thought was normally covered by insurance. I didn t have payment so he kept my keys and drove me back home 30 minutes so I could get my debit card. Remember me? I could have called in the payment. They claimed 3 leak areas to repair. Another opinion showed the oil pan and valve cover were not leaking. Only the cam plugs leaked ($693 just for that). REPAIRED FOR ONLY $10 in PARTS AND TOOK LESS THAN an HOUR!!! Almost a $1900 overestimate. Not a drop of oil leaked after that. What a scam outfit! These guys work on government vehicles?! I hope, as a taxpayer, these are NOT no bid contracts/estimates. Now, if you think I am a liar then sue me for defamation.. I will be waiting for your usual victim response

I couldn t figure out what was wrong with my car. It kept overheating. These guys properly diagnosed my car and fixed it when the dealership I bought it from couldn t fix it. It wasn t cheap but I have piece of mind now. Receptionist were super friendly too. Aaron

Did my yearly safety check here. They open at 0800, Walk ins only for safety check. Make sure you have your reg.form and current insurance It was quick and staff are very friendly. Will definitely come back and recommend to check them out.

I come here for my annual inspection, I have to say, since I found this place I wouldn't trade them for any other inspection places. Good customer service, prompt, business oriented. I guess I can say good peeps. I approve this message, and haters leave me a thumbs down. My experience is awesome every time. Mahalo

This place charged me $150.00 to inspect my truck because I was having front end problems.I am quite sure that they actually never looked at or drove the truck!!Owner wanted to charge me $4,200.00 to replace my entire front end.I went for a second opinion to a certified mechanic in Honolulu, who actually took the time to look at the truck and said all I needed was a new power steering pump.He changed it out for $300.00It has been three months now and all is just fine with my front end.I strongly suggest finding another shop.This one will bend you over an oil barrel.No question the owner tried to rip me off.

They did a very bad job . We took in our car to put in free on but 2 hrs later after they called it was ready. I picked it up and the AC was still blowing out hot air. So I called them back and they said to bring it back in. But when I picked it up I paid cash $260.00 . The struggle is real just wish I never went there for my AC. Anyways Most definitely going to come to you for my next safety check since y'all down the road. Never knew you guys do safety check.Service: Air conditioning

Dropped my car off cause it was having intermittent starting issues and I just put a new battery in it. They found that the new battery was the issue and installed the new battery my wife brought in for while I was at work.Super helpful and accommodating.
