I called into the shop because I noticed a squeaking noise when I was backing up. The owner told me to bring it in so he could check it out. Everything ended up being in good working condition, but the owner still did a full review of my brake pads and took my vehicle for a test drive to see the brake s responsiveness. The owner took the time to fully explain everything to me and was unbelievably kind. He didn t even charge me a dime! I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone and I ll certainly be back when my vehicle actually needs work done!

My brakes were acting up and it was nerve racking driving around knowing they were going bad so I gave Island Brake & Alignment a call and without hesitation they took my car in right away! The owner Derick was very concerned for my safety and even though the shop had appointments from other customers he managed to squeeze me in because of the safety factor which I appreciate so much! He explained everything up front as to what they would do and gave me the cost up front as well without any hidden charges. He didn t try to sell me something either and did exactly what needed to be done for my car. I m glad I gave them a call because I ve had bad experiences at other shops so it s hard to trust these days. You can trust the guys over at Island Brake & Alignment cause you know we all need a brake from shady companies

Took my car in because steering wheel was shaking when braking downhill. Derrick and his crew found rt caliper was defective and replaced front rotors,calipers and pads, CAR runs like new, prices was lower then competitors, would recommend for excellent work and fair pricing. No hidden fees,prices quoted upfront!

I wasn't an actual customer. The owner Darrell was honest and kind enough to advise me to check for tire separation first, after my front end got wobbly and I thought it was an alignment issue. He was spot on and I got tires (thank God the separated tire didn't blow out!) and problem solved. We can use more ethical auto repair shops such as his!12/7/23 Came in for my pre booked appointment for an alignment. I was seen right away and it took less than an hour. The price was no more than any other shop, and here I know it's done right. He's been in business for 32 years so you know there's quality work. Received a detailed print out of the measurements and adjustments. Patronize our local business!

These guys are well versed in aligning lifted trucks! This was my third time for three different lifted Toyota trucks over the last two years. Took just over an hour as promised. Thanks Derek

A+++ Shop that provides quality work for a reasonable price. Great customer service skills and communicates with customers well. Give you a rundown of what was performed on your vehicle before taking payment. They did an excellent job for my wheel alignment for my lowered Audi on 20s. Highly recommend this shop for any alignment needs

Highly talented and consummate professionals at their craft. The Team at Island Brake & Alignment are the absolute best!I ve taken my Tesla Model 3 to them for multiple services to include: lowering springs & wheels/tires. The level of meticulous care they display always exceeds my expectations.Their prices are fantastic & I ve always had a pleasant experience when talking with them. I lowered my lexus on coilovers and Derek let me know what he could do to help with camber ware without a camber kit which it would be ideal to get but they adjusted it for longer tire ware till I can buy a camber kit excellent shop & staff I'd recommend them to anyone.

After another shop told me they couldn't do the work, one of the mechanics I spoke with recommended I contact Derrick at Island Brake and Alignment. Since my wife and I both work long hours, having a Saturday morning vehicle drop off available was a big plus for us! Derrick is a solid guy who is very attentive when the customer describes his/her vehicular problems and he offers several solutions. When the final bill came, he was more than fair with the labor charges, and didn't balk when I supplied my own parts. (I had previously tried to do the work myself) He and his guys keep the shop immaculately clean and well organized, and we are very happy with the quality of work. Final Note: What's more important than my business is my repeat business.....Island Brake and Alignment now has a completely satisfied customer that will now take ALL of his brake, suspension, and alignment needs to Derrick and his accomplished staff. Island brake is the only shop I trust with my truck now, after many failed attempts at other shops Derick listened to exactly what I needed and even had some advice and suggestions to make my truck ride it s best. I highly recommend these guys for their customer service and great work. Especially if you have a modified truck that needs alignment these guys know their stuff. MAHALO GUYSService: Wheel alignment

Highly recommend. Brought vehicle in for alignment and to straighten steering wheel. Shop is very clean and organized looking. They started working on car at appointment time. Done in a half hour.Car drives great and steering wheel is straight.Owner gave me a lot of info on the alignment and about answered questions I had about brakes and was very courteous.Great price.

Derek & James found all problems with my worn and misaligned suspension done somewhere else. Advised me on what components needed replacement. Afterwards they performed 4-wheel alignment. Car rides like brand new. I will go nowhere else. Full trust in Island Brake & Alignment.

Best shop on the island!! Can not overstate this! I brought my car in today to get a mystery squeaking noise and my brakes checked. They informed me that the brakes are still good and there was no need to get new ones just yet. Any other shop would have ran up my bill and rolled in the dough.They didn t even charge me for looking it over. They also informed me of the wheel well splash guard was out of sorts and it was in need of some maneuvering around.Bear place around. They have my complete trust with my lowered mustang. Incredibly rapid and professional completion of work at a price I found to be more than reasonable. Would highly recommend for all categories of auto repair they are willing to take on - they referred me to Nissan for CVT fluid change as the only place I should go to have that done correctly.Also expressing appreciation to Eddie's Auto Repair for referring me to Island when Eddie's schedule would not permit timely completion of work.

I'm never a fan of going to the car shop because...well...we all know the stereotypes. They came highly recommended by multiple people. I've never had such a pleasant experience. He was honest about what's wrong with my car and what can wait. Very fair price and his daughter is very friendly also. I'm all about family businesses :) All 5 stars!

Received an alignment inspection before my recon on a 2009 Jeep Wrangler. Appointment time was at 1100, I got in about 1040, drove out about 1115. Super quick, Derek is awesome. Highly recommend taking your vehicle here! He even fixed the alignment on my jeep at no extra cost.

The best wheel, tire, suspension and alignment shop in the 808. Just had my tires installed and the best is that I shipped my tires directly to them which they stored till I could get my car in. The care they take is great as I have expensive aftermarket wheels and not one scratch on them. I have used Island Brake and Alignment for all my automotive needs for the past 8 years and never disappointed.

Made an appointment super easy on the phone and when I arrived they were right on time with the appointment. It was less than an hour and they were so helpful and professional. I have a lifted vehicle and needed it to be in certain specs for the Recon inspection and they got it done! I'm so thankful for them and their great service.

Had my 05' Lotus Elise aligned here, after every alignment shop I went to turned me down. By far the BEST service on island, in my opinion. They are very courteous in answering all questions you may have and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend Island Brake & Alignment!

Aloha is alive and well with Derrick and his crew. Got new pads and rotors all around on my 06 ridgeline. Driving home the truck feels brand new. Got me in and out quick so I could pick up my wife from work on time. Overall amazing experience. Google reviews brought me here and did not disappoint!

I have used this place a couple times for alignments. They are professional and keep a tidy shop. The parking lot small. With an appointment they had me in and out in 30 min. They can handle lowered cars which is why I used them. I would recommend them for your alignment needs b

An amazing business with amazing service. I took in my lifted truck to have them align it for a recon inspection and they got me in the green to get it passing. The workers are super honest and happy to answer questions. I'll be going back!
