I have a 2021 Chevy Tahoe that broke down due to a faulty fuel pump driver module. I contacted Chevrolet who advised me I would have to pay to have it towed to them and they were unable to get the part so my vehicle would just set there. I got my tahoe home and ordered the module offline but the module had to be programmed. I installed the module in 10 minutes. I called Chevrolet back and asked if they could program it. I was told by them that since they didn't install the part they wouldn't program it. At this point I called a few local mechanics that said they couldn't do it. I contacted Red Dawggs by chance they could help or point me in the right direction since the tahoe wouldn't run. Red Dawgg told me they could be here Friday. I wasn't really sure if they understood what I was needing but Travis showed up on time and had it reprogrammed in less than 5 minutes. He checked and made sure everything was working properly. Really glad I found them! Thanks Red Dawgg!

Great mechanic! Pricing is fair, he's honest and knows his stuff. Helped me out of a bind with my Cadillac. Diagnosed my fuel pump and replaced it. At my home, not sitting at a dealership! Will definitely use again.

UPDATED REVIEW:Front desk lady was honestly the most rude person I ve ever talked to over the phone. Just based off the attitude of the front desk I wouldn t bring my business. They refused to even hear me out on my explanation as to what was wrong with my vehicle.Reply to the owners comment:I did not perform any repair or start any project to my vehicle. The only thing that was done was me changing my cabin air filter which is a simple scheduled maintenance item that can be done by anyone with no experience. As I was removing the glovebox to gain access to the cover for my cabin air filter, a piece of a switch came off. Now the broken switch that has no correlation to the cabin air filter is causing my truck to not be able to start. The problem has not been diagnosed and the repair has not been started, hence the reason I was calling your company. My truck is a 2000 Ford Ranger.As to your front desk receptionist, she answered the phone in a non-welcoming voice and also refused to hear me out and hear my full explanation about the issue I was experiencing. Very short and cut me off mid explanation. I could have caught her on a bad day though.Coming from a business, I would have expected a much more professional response rather than calling a potential client butt hurt over leaving a review about the bad customer service I experienced.I m having a hard time finding another mobile mechanic, and I would have loved to do business with you in order to have my truck repaired.

I have an 06 Toyota that has sat outside and neglected for close to a year without starting or running. Travis came, dropped a new battery and ran a diagnostic check. Luckily everything checked out and ran well. Happy to have a go-to mobile mechanic for the future. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommend. I hired Travis for a pre purchase inspection. Communication was great before hand and when we checked out the car he took plenty of time, explained things and answered questions. Found issues with the car that would have cost thousands to fix had we not caught them before buying. Great service!

I would absolutely recommend Red Dawg Mobile Mechanics and I plan to use their services in the future for all my vehicle needs. Travis was very professional and knowledgeable his prices are very reasonable. I didn t feel like he was pushing me to get other services done on my vehicle just for profit like other places have done. He finished the work in a timely fashion and explained all that he had done. Red dog does excellent work. He hooked up my aftermarket alternator and made it work. I would recommend Red Dog for any car repair you may need. He even can rebuild an engine so there is nothing that Red Dog cannot do. Give him a call.

We hired Red Dawgs Mobile Mechanics for a brake change, everything was fine until we went to drive the car after the replacement, and a weird noise was coming from the brakes. We tried calling and contacting the company and the mechanic but no answer We had to take our newborn baby to the doctors so we needed to get that checked asap, since we couldn t get in contact with the company we had to drive somewhere to get it checked. That s when the new mechanic that checked come to us and said that one of the brakes was placed backwards and that s where the noise was coming from, and we could have gotten in an accident! So we get our brakes replaced AGAIN and right this time. After that we tried contacting customer service and had no answer. WHEN we got an answer, they said that there s nothing they can do about, that we should have called them to fix the problem (even tho we tried many times and couldn t get in contact with anyone). They didn t even apologize for their mistake, didn t want to refund my money (not even partially) and now they don t pick up the phone anymore. I would be very careful with hiring them to do anything. Terrible customer service. And I ll be taking this further if I don t get a response about all this. Was able to come out and repair my car( the starter) the same day I called. Would highly recommend as they were very professional and quick to respond to inquires. Will definitely be recommending and using his services next time I need car repairs.

Travis is extremely professional and knowledgeable and took his time today replacing my spark plugs in my vehicle, let me know exactly what was going on...etc with my car. Very reasonable as well. Very kind and even helped my son with his scooter when needing some screws fixed on it so he could ride it. My parents and I have used Red Dawggs mobile mechanics several times and will continue to do so, definitely recommend them.

I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE. 1ST TO THE OWNER, TO CREATE HIMSELF HIS OWN BUSINESS IS PHENOMENAL DOING WHAT HE LOVES. 2ND I HAD A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE, HE IS VERY BUSY, AND WE HAD TO ADJUST THE TIME ONCEBUT IT WAS BECASUE HE WANTED TO MAKE SURE HIS PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS VEHICLE WAS DONE PROPERLY. I RECENTLY MOVED HERE FROM ARIZONA, AND WE HAVE A LUXARY CAR, AND HE TOOK HIS TIME, FOUND OUT WAS WRONG, ASSESED IT, AND DID IT RIGHT. NOT OVER CHARGING OR UNDER, HE PRICED ON A GOOD JOB AND WHAT HE DESERVES. HE ALSO FOUND OUT THAT, THE LAST COMPANY WHO FIXED MY CAR MADE A LOT OF HUGE MISTAKES, LIKE NOT PUTTING THE RING AROUND BOLTZ, AND MESSIN UP FILTERS ECT..., SO HES AMAZING. MY WIFE FOUND HIS COMPANY ONLINE AND I REACHED OUT. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIS SERVICE AND HE ALSO, CAN TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO HIS SHOP, IF THE ISSUE CANT BE RESOLVED AT YOUR HOUSE. I found him through a friend that used him for mechanic work before and said he was great and gave it a chance. Being that he's a mobile mechanic made me nervous from past experiences. I had to have my alternator replaced and after choosing him for this job, I am so glad I found some like him. He's honest and affordable and this gave me relief. He did a great job and so quick too. I will definitely use him again in the future to help me with anything on my car now.

HORRIBLE customer service!! These people are all nice and responsive with you UNTIL you pay the diagnostics fee (which I ve never seen or heard any company charge sales taxes on labor work ..), after that, you have to chase them up countless texts/calls just to get an update. Furthermore, they are not people of their word. They texted me at 12:10 PM saying that they will be over in an hour to look at a 2000 Honda accord I ve been having overheating issues with and some other stuff, and at 4:43pm they called saying they re mechanic just arrived. And on top of all of that, they said they will have the quote over to me shortly that evening, and then after I chased them up a few times, they said they ll have it to me in the morning. The next day, after I called them couple of times they sent the quote at 8:30 PM. After having some questions related to the quote (as all people do) I had to chase them down once again, multiple times just for them to come back and say that they cannot replace the throttle body because the dealerships do not recommend it since the locking bolts are torqued to a specific spec (as if they can t tighten it back to OEM specs ). So I went ahead and I called Honda mall of Georgia to verify and they said that you CAN ABSOLUTELY replace the throttle bottle. Which is why they and everyone else sells that part. So not only is this business unprofessional, they re also not reliable and untrustworthy. And to add the cherry on top, their manager texted me a lengthy paragraph, (after I told them that I would leave them a bad review for their poor customer service and work) explaining all the reasons why they cannot replace a throttlebody and all the other spew of lies/excuses. Their manager also said to give him a call if I have any questions. And so I did and also left him a voicemail. This was last week and I still have not received anything back from them. These people are just a bunch of lying thugs that just want to take your money, and after that, they just leave you hanging. Very unprofessional business,I should have first read all the negative reviews prior to hiring them for diagnostics. Now I understand now why so many people are frustrated with them. Because most of them had the same experience I did.My recommendation to everyone out there, stay away from these people because they re money hungry and unprofessional!But go ahead red dawg, and reply to this review as you have with the others in the past. Complaining why people leave bad reviews and blaming the Google system why people are allowed to leave one star review. You should be lucky. Google does not allow zero stars or negative because that s what you would be getting from me and many other people. GARBAGE BUSINESS!!!

honestly i wouldn t recommend this place to my worst enemy. i called them because i needed help with my car. i currently LIVE out my car and this is the only thing i have left. i called and spoke to them and they told me they would come out to diagnose it for $100. they then told me they could do it that same day but switched it to the day after at 10:00 AM. when the next morning came around and it was time for them to come look at it, i got a text message saying they wouldn t look at my car because i need to contact a previous mechanic, i missed work for them to come fix my car and now they are canceling. THIS IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL

Second time using Red Dawggs and second time very satisfied. This time called Travis yesterday (a Friday) and asked about getting my alternator replaced as car was dead. He was able to get it fixed in less than 24 hours right in my driveway. Saved me a bunch of money as well by sourcing a compatible alternator for me. Highly recommend.

He replaced the starter on our 2007 Kia Sorento and it was an really aggravating job had to remove the motor mount and alot of other this just to get to it and get it out
