My car wouldn't start last night and when I went to Autozone to have them check it, they told me it was my alternator. I called and spoke to Paul this morning and in a few short minutes, he told me it was the battery, but he wanted me to bring it up to make sure. I was there less than 5 minutes and he confirmed that my alternator was working just fine. He gave me feedback on where to go to get a good deal on a battery and even offered to put it in for me.I will definitely bring my car back to him whenever I need service. 100% recommend - Paul is an extremely friendly person/business owner and very honest. I have never felt as though he was taking advantage of charging more and he s actually more affordable than other places we called before finding him. We take both of our vehicles to him (oil change, maintenance(fluid flush? Paul Mize is a good Godly man. I had a problem in my engine. Paul told me it might be something cheap or it might be $1200, he wouldn't know until he opened it up. The next day he called me and said I've got good news, it's only $261. I was thinking it was gonna be way more than that, and he could have pulled one on me and charged me more, but he didn't. Paul is an easy person to communicate with - very professional and knowledgeable about the cars he cares for. Gets you in and out! Prices are reasonable. I enjoy working with Paul and bringing my 2011 Lexus to him for regular engine maintenance and the occasional issue! He was recommended by someone who used to work with him in the car business - so we thought he was going to be one of the best and he has proven that over and over again!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Honest and fair prices. Fast and Efficient work and repairs. I brought my car from Conyers. We used to live in Winder and first used this garage service and it was the perfect place to bring my Hands Fit back for it's AC problems. No run around just straight and honest service. Still had the records from my first Honda fit over 6 years ago. Speaks to the character of the owner and company.

Took Toyota Sienna in with check engine light on, error code P012. They changed oil and put an additive in the oil. Light hasn't come on since. Great service and honest and friendly folks.

I took my Tundra in to get serviced and they informed me of some things I hadn t even realized needed to be done. I am glad I listened to a certified professional because now my truck drives better then ever! They were very professional, honest, and affordable. Stop looking for a good shop, there is already Mize auto in Winder!

For years I had been using a mechanic in the Buford area, the most trustworthy and honest person I knew to service our cars. When we moved to the winder area It was hit and miss trying to find that same type of service, until I came upon Mize Auto Service I have the comfort of knowing I'm getting the same reliable and trustworthy service I had previously.The funny thing is ... it turns out Paul had worked at that same shop in Buford and it shows in the way he takes care of his clients.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

We have used Mize Auto for my wife s car several times but decided to take my car to have the brakes done. He is very professional and upfront with everything. You don t have to worry about being blindsided with additional unexpected costs. His prices are very good and I will definitely use him with all of our car repairs. Paul and his team are always so honest with all of his work. I much rather have a mechanic tell me that he things that I should buy a new car then having to fix an old one when he knows soon enough something else will be malfunctioning. I appreciate his assertiveness, honesty and his professionalism. I would most definitely recommend Mize Auto Service.

My AC was not blowing cold. I called to ask what they would charge to just look at it and see what it could possibly be, he told me that they would have to do a detailed Diagnostics and it would be roughly $85. I said that was fine. and that I also needed an oil change and my sensor reset. So when I went back the next day I dropped my car off and he told me he would call me and let me know what the issue would be and how much it would be. When I got the call he said he went ahead and replaced the relay and the compressor had started working. And he noticed a few minor things that needed tweaking that he did FREE OF CHARGE! My total came out to be right at $200. And my AC is blowing very cool I was so happy. On a side note... my brother-in-law is a pretty good mechanic and I will forever continue to do business Mize Auto Service.

My husband and I had our vehicle checked by another auto shop to see if we could get a quick diagnosis of a sound we were hearing from my Scion (we were in a hurry).Unfortunately, they stated that they did not know what it was and they did not think it was a big deal-- given the noise wasn't as present/loud as it had been. My husband and I decided we would take the Scion to Mize Auto on Tuesday (knowing the great and thorough work Paul always provides-- surely he would know what was wrong).Little did we know, my Scion would completely break down in the middle of nowhere. We had to tow it, but, we knew we were towing it to a wonderful Master Mechanic!End result: Paul and his team diagnosed the issue(s) quickly, provided a detailed report to my husband, and, as always, gave a great and honest price. We are grateful to have Mize Auto on our team!God is good.

I've been going to Paul and his team for several years. I recently moved to Woodstock, GA, and will continue to drive to Winder to have Mize service my car. Was able to get my car looked at and serviced the same day in under 5hrs. I had issues with the dealership so I took my car here. They fixed the issue that the dealership couldn't find. Paul and his crew do a fantastic job. They have worked on my vehicle, plus my sons and daughter in laws cars. Always upfront about cost and delivers on when he says it will be ready. If you have a Japanese brand of car this is the place to go.

Very helpful, price was a little high, especially when 2 days after repairs were done it started doing the same thing we paid over $800.00 to have fixed. We will be taking it back on Monday to see what he says now. I always give people at least one time but have sometimes given two or more times to mess things up or just plain get things wrong, before I get really upset with them. Because I always want others to give a break and let me try to fix things when I mess stuff up. I'll let ya'll know what happens.
