Joey Watkins in Winder changed the heater core and A/C evaporator on my 98 Dodge Ram; this required completely removing the dash. The dash in this generation Ram is notoriously prone to breakage and they told me up front they couldn t guarantee it wouldn t break up when they removed it. I was aware of this potential and just asked they do their best; they did an excellent job, one existing crack was larger after their work but still in place. Better than I expected. Their price was reasonable and work done on time. I highly recommend Joey Watkins Tire and Automotive.

Talk about horrible customer service, I was told a service could be done only to wait two hours to be told it couldn t be done. If that was the initial case one of the 8+ employees could ve told me that.Joey Watkins in Larenceville & Dacula have excellent service, they re transparent & nothing but professional.This one dropped the ball. They also gave me misinformation on who could do this service which was false & these are mechanics???

The only place I could find that would do an oil change on my mini cooper and not charge a ridiculous ammount. They were very kind and will definitely be going back.

This is a great place for tires, free tire rotations, etc. Great staff. Comfortable waiting area and they try hard to get you in and out.

I had to stop in to get a nail out of my tire. I had just gotten my car back from the dealership and they didn t tell me I had a nail- just told me I needed new tires. Your amazing staff took care of me and very quickly worked me in because they knew I was in a rush to get my dad to his radiation appt. Your front staff is friendly and kind. Your Amazing mechanic fixed my tire promptly and the cost was way below my dealership! You have a customer for life!! I highly recommend!! I wish I knew their names to give them the proper review! Sweet young girls and a kind gentlemen !

Took my car in because my heat wasn't working properly, The tech came out noti ed the freon was low. He topped it off, and I was on my way. No charge. They really have small town attitude. Highly recommend them.

It s hard to find a Auto shop you can trust. I bounced from place to place for years and finally was recommended Joey Watkins. I have been coming here and only here for the past few years for everything car related and they have been great. Highly recommended.

Had some issues in the beginning. But now I'm editing my review to make it what they deserve!I updated my one star to five stars. The owner, Joey Watkins, called and they say they are going to make it right.They made it right and we've used them several times recently with no issues.

I came in for an alignment for my lowered CL. She was a little too lowered unfortunately for their lift. However, I have had the most difficult time dealing with other shops due to their lack of customer service and was always rushed off the phone. I was also treated like an idiot by these shops. These guys here were extremely nice and were willing to try and see if she could make it on their lift. Also, they gave me suggestions of places that could help align my car so I wouldn't have to keep looking. So for that, I'd recommend them to anyone. Thank y'all!

Excellent service, extremely personable and professional.I had a tire repaired, and was literally in and out in less than half an hour.One of the best experiences I ve ever had with any auto shop.

Our family got a nail in our tire while traveling up I-85. We were in a bit of a panic as we weren t close to home and we could tell the tire pressure was going down quickly. We found this shop online as being nearby. They had us in and out within 20 minutes. Super friendly people and amazingly quick. We are so thankful for them and are happy to highly recommend!

Absolutely the best shop in GA. Staff is friendly, professional and fast. I live in Atlanta but was visiting a family member at the Braselton hospital when I noticed I was having an issue with my tire that had been previously patched. They fixed the patch so fast and even worked with me on where to leave my car keys since I wasn't able to make it back before they closed. Now I will be making the drive to Winder the next time I need a new set of tires, that is how impressed I was with their service!

Been going to Joey's for many years. I trust them with my car and my husband trusts them too! I have known Joey Watkins many years from growing up in Dacula and going to school with his son. Joey and his team were so kind after a horrible experience with another company. The mechanics fixed my truck by correctly diagnosing the issues and didn t just throw parts at it. Great shop!! Took my beater car in for suspension work and when it needed more parts than first estimated they were apologetic when they let me know. When I picked it up they said they actually had to use an additional part (and labor to install it) and didn't charge me. They even fixed my squeaky clutch pedal and I hadn't asked them to! What great customer service!! Definitely worthy of your business.

Rude. Way too much. First come first serve. $60 dollar tire rotation. 30 dollar oil change. Ive been going to the joey watkins in dacula since 09. This place is a joke the winder location. I even bought tires from these scam artist. I went there once at 8 told me my car would be ready by 12. Called five different times rude everytime on the phone. Ended up waiting till close. Told them i had work to do they didn t care at all. Spend the money at a chain or do it yourself. You ll save the money on your first rotation that you would spend on a torque wrench. Then you can do it whenever you need to. Joey should be ashamed. (Edit: By the way took my same car to an actual honest mechanic and Joey Watkins rounded my lug nuts. They where the only place that rotated my tires previously. I can confirm that it was them because i tried to fit the right size on the lug without pressure before taking it to the honest mechanic. They would not catch at all. So not only rude but will do the job incorrectly so you have to spend more money with them.) it s a shame they used to care about there customers now it s about the bottom line. I brought my car there thinking they would at least fix the problem they caused but no.Oh and the bs automated response : give us a call at your earliest convenience nonsense no you had multiple chances to resolve the issue at hand. It s insane to think this time would be any different.

Very nice people, horrible customer service!my car needed a new serpentine belt so I brought it on Tuesday at 7:45 a.m. and it was there for 4 days! Now here's the thing I understand that my car is old after all it's a 2001 so repairs are needed the fact that it was there for 4 days isn't what bothers me what bothers me is in those four days I had to call almost every single time to find out the status of my car the first day I dropped it off it was there till 12:00 in the afternoon keep in mind I dropped it off at 7:45 in the morning! and replacing a serpentine belt is only a 2-hour job I had to call to find out that it would not be done that day because it needed a new pulley! why they didn't call me to tell me this is beyond me! The second day my car was there I called them around 1:45 in the afternoon to see the status of my car (because again they did not call me) only to find out that the car hadn't even been pulled into the shop yet to be worked on! And that it would not be done on that day! the third day it was there I had to call them to find out that not only it was the pulley not only was the belt needing replaced but the tensioner needed to be tightened again they did not call me to tell me this! Then at the end of the day they finally called me to tell me they had the wrong belt and it needed to stay another day this morning they did call me to tell me that the car was done however all the times they did not call me does not make up for it! Not calling your customers to tell them the status of their cars is absolutely unacceptable I guarantee you they have lost a customer

They are the absolute BEST at what they do, which apparently is pretty much anything automobile-related.They have the most amazing customer service you could ever hope for.Not trying to make this into a 'gender equality/inequality' issue but, being that I'm female, sometimes we can feel like we're being taken advantage of when it comes to our vehicles--if we don't happen to know much about auto mechanics, etc. So, when the list of "here is what's wrong, and here are the needed repairs" comes out, we can get suspicious.However, at this shop, I do not and have not ever felt that way...not with these folks! They are always 100% upfront and 100% honest. They don't try to gouge you for everything they can get and their work is always top notch!My husband and I won't ever take our vehicles anywhere else!

I brought a used car to Joey Watkins for a pre-purchase inspection and immediately felt like they were on my side to help me decide about buying this car. I waited for them to do the inspection and noticed that with anyone that came through the lobby they seemed to be just as friendly and courteous as they had been with me.The inspection was thorough too, with a check-list of what they looked at and quotes for repairs/parts they recommended. They're great! We've had to take our vehicles to them for numerous repairs and they've always done a great job.I'm fairly knowledgeable about vehicles, so as a female it's nice that they don't sit and try to 'mansplain' everything me.They listen to my concerns, or to my oftentimes ridiculous sounding reenactments of what is going on with my vehicle .They always give me a straightforward diagnosis and let me know the cost of repairs, etc.We will always use these guys for our vehicles.

Staff is always sweet, welcoming, and straight forward. They'll let you know ahead of time what shop fees, parts, and mechanic laboring fees are! They'll even give you the choice to bring in your own parts or oil! Definitely not like most places who try to con you into paying more!
