I can't even get Craig Conner to overcharge me or do unneeded work if I want. Seriously, how valuable is it to have a mechanic who you can tell on the phone (this is me 2 weeks ago) "Just check if any fluids need service. You don't need to call me for authorization, after 10 years of never being displeased, I trust you." Note, we were discussing 2 differentials, transmission, power steering flush, and brake flush, oh and whether or not only 1 or both front wheel bearings need replacing on a Nissan Armada... all very costly. I end up being charged only for the work done, with only one hub replaced and the transmission flush, and a recommendation of when to have him recheck. My cost out the door with tax for a wheel bearing replacement and transmission flush was less than anyone else's price for just the single wheel bearing.And best of all I am supporting a local small business, and he provides valuable jobs to the market. Craig is just awesome.

The quote that was emailed was nearly $700 less than what they charged when the work was done. Stated they forgot to add labor costs in the estimate. If true, the correct thing to do is call the customer and tell them BEFORE the work is started, not afterward. I've only had my truck back for couple of weeks and the work seems okay so far. But I will not be back as a result of the dishonesty. You have to be able to trust someone when working on your vehicles, and they have proven they can't be.

I brought my special to me 88 fiero gt to have an alignment done, having been to two other shops who turned me away and one of which did a clutch dump in the car trying to get it on the alignment rack.Short story short, dropped my car off, they got it done in a timely manner, and the lowest priced alignment I ve seen in years! Car handles like it s on rails again. Will recommend this business to manyService: General repairs & maintenance

Conner Automotive is now my go-to since I moved to Jackson County. It's worth the drive! Having an honest mechanic is extra peace of mind. They were recommended by a local, and now I'm going to recommend them to you!

If I could give less than one star I would. I took my 2005 Chevy Colorado over there to get a front main seal replaced. Driving it home from the shop the oil light came on 20 minutes later. I pulled over and looked under the truck to see that fresh oil had been blown all over the place. They towed it from the gas station back to the shop and told me I needed a new motor. $400 for literally nothing. After they got it to the shop they told me I had zero compression. they should have checked compression before replacing the front main. And that I needed a new motor. I would not take my vehicle to the shop for anything. The person that referred me to this Place had multiple negative experiences shortly after they made the recommendation. This was roughly 5 months ago. I have tried to call them a few times and will be going to reclaim my vehicle next week. I am not a rich or wealthy person and the money that I gave them refused to be refunded. While it breaks my heart, what am I gonna do? Nothing. Because there is nothing to do.Service: Engine repair

Never going back to this place again. Dont trust what they say. Took them over 6 months to fix my truck and what should have been under warranty cost me $2100. if you go there, good luck!

I have been trusting Mr. Connor with my repair work for several years for the repairs that I am unable to do myself. He and his staff have always been professional, brutally honest and timely. The price is fair and the work is superior. Most recently I had some radiator work done that Alan (one of the employees) told me would not be worked on for a few days due to the amount of work they had. I took the vehicle in anyway. He offered to tow it for me but I was able to get it there. He called the next day with a quote and I said "go ahead" because it was much less than I anticipated. Even better than that, it was done the next day and the bill was exactly what I was quoted to the penny. I took one of my vehicles there in the past that needed a lot of work and Mr. Connor along with one of his mechanics got together with me to discuss the amount of work the car would need and how much it would cost. They told me that the value of the car would not support the price of repair so I brought it home. Like I said, brutally honest. I know they worked for hours getting parts prices etc - the car had been sitting for years - and only charged me a few bucks for their time. For the few negative reviews I read about him, I can promise that not once has he done anything intentionally to rip anyone off or anything like that. There may have been some miscommunication or whatever but not done purposefully. There are times when during a repair surprises come up and it will take more time and material etc to complete the repair. That just goes with the territory. But, when that has happened to me, they have let me know and have always been fair with the additional price. In fact, some places will not even tell you about any of the surprises they find but just fix what you asked for and let you leave knowing the job was not done completely right. I promise you that if you take your vehicle somewhere else, it will cost more and you will not get the same level of work performed. But, if they did drop the ball and not call, you still made out better than you would have anywhere else. I can attest that Mr. Connor is one of the good ones. He went into business to prevent people from getting ripped off. He stamps his name on every transaction and does not hide behind anything. If you don't like something, you let him know and he will do everything he can to make it right.Service: Engine repair

I was in a bind, and Conner took care of me as quickly as they could. Credited me as well where applicable because the initial fix wasn t the main issue. Referred to Conner Automotive by Scott at Watkins Automotive a HUGE mistake! Took our truck in for a couple little things. While the truck was there, we asked him to take a look at the AC as we had had someone else apply the dye to find a leak. Conner said there was a leak under the dash and said he fixed it and all was well. Got the truck back and found that the engine, which had always started well on the first turn now took 2-3 turnovers before it would start. He also replaced two batteries without prior authorization from us and replaced with lower amp batteries than we would have put in. The AC wasn t cooling AND he lost 3 of the 4 floor mats AND the key and FOB for the truck. Had to go back home and get the extra key to even be able to leave with it. As they had clearly done something to the engine and the AC still wasn t cooling, we took it back for him to fix his mistakes. This time he replaced the AC compressor, again without prior discussion and authorization AND charged an additional $600. All told, we ve paid about $2,000 for a whole lot of headache! About $1,300 of that for the AC, which STILL doesn t cool. He did have a new key for the truck made but never replaced the FOB as he had promised to do. Whatcha think? Would YOU take your vehicle to him? Take our advice and DON T! (Only gave one star b/c there wasn't an option for NO star!)Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning

Usually, they have very good prices and friendly service...Recently, I spent more than a thousand dollars on an engine light here. Kept taking it back practically every day for more than a month. I'm usually a pretty loyal customer, and that cost me. Luckily, I saw that the owner keeps a lawn jocky in his yard, which made looking elsewhere very easy at that point.

I always have a great experience there. Never had issues and I always use this place for any issues I have with either of my vehicles. The service is great, the attitude is very good and the price can't be beat for the service you receive.Come here and you will be able to have a simple and easy experience with an automotive shop, which we know is rare.

I've used Conner Automotive for several years. They repaired the AC on one car with a better price I could find anywhere else and they warrant their work! It's hard to find someone these days that will stand behind their work. I'll never go anywhere else.

Replaced the transmission in my wife's Tahoe in 2 1/2 days. Best prices around and does solid work. Great company to work with !! I will be back and I will recommend Conner's to everyone I know !!

Outstanding work. Very knowledgeable, does the little things and fair price if he charges at all for those little things. His work lasts and he stands behind it. Quick turn around and good staff. I send all friends to him without any hesitation. Great work ethic.. you got to have a mechanic you trust.

Greatest shop I've ever done business with. I dropped off an absolute nightmare of a 1992 Ford Ranger 2.3L that I put a huge street cam in and performance valve train. Durring the engine swap, I ran into a no spark issue and did everything I could to diagnose it. Ended up getting it towed over to Conner. Basically the whole ignition system needed to be replaced causing them a boat load of headaches. They got it running and I expected the bill to be double what it was.These guys know what they're doing, they're honest, and respectful. When it comes to old fuel injection engines, it's hard to find someone who really knows what they're doing with OBD1. They've got the right equipment and knowledge to find and fix even the most evil electrical gremlins. I can't thank them enough for going through the trouble I put them through.

This is Craig Conner, owner of Conner Automotive, LLC. We have tried on several occasions to reach Ms. Beck to discuss details about the problem(s) with her vehicle since nothing has been brought to our attention. There is no way we can fix a problem if we don't know a problem even exists. At this time, we have been unsuccessful in reaching her.At Conner Automotive, we provide a warranty on all the work we do. We have always made good on any warranty work and will continue to do so.

He does outstanding work. He is honest, which is hard to find in the automotive repair industry. I took my vehicle to another shop before hand, and they wanted to fix things that did not need fixing.... I would recommend this mechanic to anyone, Turn around was quick, repair was great!!!

Will keep you coming back and charging more for work that should have been included. Poor quality work. Left bolts not tightened on wheels after brakes were serviced....then we had no brakes at all. We could have been killed.

My go to guy for car repair. Good service good price. I hate posting this review because now I probably won't be able to get my car serviced because he will be too busy.
