I went by the shop and Jason was very nice. He informed me that he would look into some things and get back with me to get me on the schedule. Further he gave me his card and asked me to shoot him a text. When speaking with him in person everything seemed well and I was excited to get my car on the schedule. That in person conversation was the last time I ever heard from him.I shot him a text and never heard back from him. Further, two weeks later I tried to follow up with him again to see about scheduling and still no response.From the other reviews, he seems to do great work, but from my experience, if you don't have a major project that he can make a lot of money off of, he's not interested. He did not work on my car and is yet to follow up with me three months later. If you are looking for someone to follow through, be prompt, and conduct business in a manner of which they will just tell you they are not interested, than I would continue to search for another shop.

I am beyond impressed with the work from Jason. He went the extra mile to make sure my car met my expectations and I couldn't be happier with the results. Customer service, timing, and the actual work is top notch. Thank you!!!! ( before and after pictures posted)

Don't bring your business here if you have to deal with a guy named MICHAEL. No matter how small the job can be if it's less than $200 he will tell you that he needs an approval from someone else and promises to call you back but he will ignore you forever and will never return your phone call ever again. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH MICHAEL. This guy is driving customers away.

Blown away by the work that Carnes Customs does! If you want an award winning custom car this is where you should go! No detail is missed and quality is top tier. Highly recommend.

This is a crazy place, they're so nice people, the owner helped me to change my breaks he do the job personally, nobody in winder helped me except this place. My family was in the car with the hot weather, this man and his place save my day. Thanks guys and blessings.

Great business and the owner is a really good guy, willing to help when I couldn t find anyone else that would. I haven t heard from them in about a week and a half now though for an update on my car. Do t know if there s an alternative number that I ve been calling. Would be good to hear of any progress or decision that was made

My A.C. went out 3 days ago! After going to 4 Different Mechanics in Winder and them all giving me the run around and ultimately stating they didn't "deal with that" left me frustrated. * At this time I didn't know Jason Carnes had Carnes Customs in Winder.* I was frustrated to say the least. After I posted for help on FB, Jason immediately reached out to me to help!! I brought my car to his shop that day and he FIXED my AC that afternoon!! His shop was busy, but he knew and understood my urgency since I have a baby and couldn't go without AC nor could I leave my car somewhere for days to get looked at. (Which is what the other shops said I would have to do). Also, the cost was very fair and affordable! It didn't cost near what I was afraid it would. Highly Recommend! I will be taking my Maxima back to Jason for ALL further needs!!!Service: A/C installation & repair
