I got a good recommendation for this shop from a friend of mine and took my truck there to fix an oil leak. While there, I got a text saying the gas filters (there are two) reminder screen said they needed replacing. I declined because I recently changed the filters. Later investigation showed the reminder at 73%. Truck came back still leaking, which is not the biggest problem any more. The real problems are that I paid $135.00 for an oil and filter change that they didn't do (the oil filter I personally put on the truck at my last oil change is still on it), $127.92 for a crankcase breather filter change which they didn't do, and almost paid to replace two perfectly good gas filters that didn't need replacing. It cost $490 for an oil seal replacement that, if they did do it, didn't solve the problem. They allegedly flushed the heater core, which also did no good, but I can't prove they didn't do that. The rest I have proof of so I couldn't let them touch the truck again. They were not happy that I would not let them touch my truck and called me "hostile" and "sketchy." I wanted my money back so I could go elsewhere and start over. I was told "that's not how it works, there was nothing they could do for me, and have a nice day." I'm pretty sure they weren't serious about that last one. The business has many five-star reviews, which makes my experience all the more curious. Unfortunately, I have evidence that what I'm saying is true so I can't just accept it and move on.

I believe it was Andrew I spoke with about my truck and the vapor locking issue I was having when it got hot. I dropped the truck off with them and had it back less than a few days. They kept me updated every step of the way on what they were doing to fix it. It hasn't vapor locked since I got it back. Will definitely be taking all my vehicles here from now on. Great shop!

From my personal experience with Atlanta Auto Diesel Repair, it has been amazing. My car was fixed in a timeline matter and also help me trouble shoot another issue and fix it as well. I do recommend these guys!

Brought my truck in for a wobble. Got it back 2 weeks after getting told it would be fixed. Technician assured me the issue was fixed after doing a test drive. As soon as i pulled out onto the main road the wobble came back. Charged me $600 (4hrs) to install some A-Arms that would've taken me less than an hour and they didn't even tell me about the rate. Wasted my time and took my money. I definitely don't recommend. Stay away from them!Service: Wheel alignment

Always great service. We use them for our company vehicles and personal. Great work and great price. I had my truck up there and left my stroller. They had it on the lift, asked if I could grab it out and they didn t mind. No issues and super friendly workers.

This place is wonderful. We started using Atlanta Auto Diesel about 4 years ago when my husband needed work done on his diesel truck. He will not let anyone touch his truck except Atlanta Auto Diesel! Not only do we take his truck here, we take my 2011 Fusion. They have always been honest, friendly and quick. My parents as well as my Husband's parents use them for their vehicles too. I can not think of one bad experience ever. Just the other day I was in there for an oil change on my car and while I was waiting a lady from the softball complex next door called and asked if they had an air compressor she could borrow because she had a flat tire and just needed air to get home. They were having a tow dropped off and the tow driver drove next door to tow it over for her so she did not ruin a tire or rim, he did at no charge. Then instead of putting air in it they took 2 nails out and repaired the tire. FREE, did not charge her anything. I highly recommend them to everyone! Diesels or not!!!

I took my truck to Atlanta Auto Diesel for a general tune up and they were able to start work on it right away. Nicole, the woman at the front desk, was very thorough in explaining what all would be done and the prices for each. I got my truck back within two days and it runs like a champ. The whole staff has been courteous and helpful with getting an old truck I bought straightened out. I feel like they're honest people who do their jobs well and know what they're doing.Shop rates seem reasonable and they will get the work done quickly.I've always supported small business, and I'll continue to support this one if the work they perform stays up to par.

We took my Husband's 2001 F150 to Atlanta Auto Diesel and had 2 coil packs replaced along with an oil change while we waited! Excellent Service Dept. and Nicole was very Friendly and Helpful. The Price was very reasonable. My AC is not cooling like it use to, I'll bring it back by and you can do a follow up on the freon. It might be a tad low due to you replacing my compressor on my dodge ram.I enjoyed dealing with you.

Word to the wise. If you get an estimate from this place, get it in writing. Took my car to have valve cover gasket replaced. I was given an estimate of $150, same as I'd received from a couple of other places. Got a call back when repair was complete and was told the cost was $211. Apparently this was not an isolated incident. When I mentioned the discrepancy, the nice lady at the front desk who called me said that T.J., presumably the owner, isn't very good at estimates and that she ends up taking the heat for it. Can't speak yet to the quality of their work, since this is first time I've been there. But based on their customer service, it'll likely be the last time.Service: Engine repair

Had to take our truck back every time it was worked on. They tried to make up for it but still it was a huge inconvenience and loss of trust. They even cracked the manifold at one point. Not sure I'd recommend Atlanta Auto to anyone, and definitely won't be going back.

They are always professional. My bill was always exactly what they said it would be and if they found something else wrong they would always call first and see how I wanted to handle it but that only happened once. As anyone knows once you tear into an engine they could find other stuff that is wrong. I would recommend you give them a try and see for yourself. These guys and the office Manager Nicole are freaking awesome . Had people took al my 2002 7.3 excursion and the 38s on it with 10 inches of lift and scratch their heads how to keep power steering pump from blowing out..not these guys got it in entire new System from hydro boost to pump to pulley and hoses to steering box ..in and out in two days ..drive it with one Finger now..and prices..incredible value. Even did full inspection front to back and listed upcoming Maintenance and repairs and order of priority ..this is THE place to take your diesel Shane

Had to take my old truck back a few times. Wasn't fixed correctly. But they did own up to it and took care of me. This is why I can't give 5 stars. Other than that they're a good shop.

I had a 2011 Chevy 2500 tuned, and the work exceeded my expectations. I was wary of "messing" with my truck, but the care and results have me regretting not getting this done sooner. These guys took great care of me, and I'll be back to have them do additional mods to my truck.

I stopped by to talk about some problems that I am having with my 05 250 6.0, and they were great, They were very open with me and took time to go out of there way and help explain what is happening with my transmission. They really know what they are talking about. I will be using them from now on.

When we need fast service on our document shredding trucks, these guys get it done fast and they do it right. I would recommend them to anyone with any automotive mechanical issue. This place is where trust and professionalism meets mechanics...highly recommend..

I WARN ALL TO STAY AWAY! Complete nightmare all the way around! If it was possible to put negative stars I would. A miss diagnosis turned into months of hell! You will be treated as a problem not a valued customer. Engine ruined, over payed, no refund, and once called out on their actions no attempt to make right. You will be lied to, taken advantage of, and your vehicle will be worse than it was before. I expect a comment with a sorry excuse from AAD after I post this - just like our dispute with the Better Business Bureau.

Despite the negative reputation from some of the other shops in the area, I used this shop. Without getting into much detail, I left that shop still needing the services of a competent mechanic. They obviously have some vehicles they are familiar with so if you don't have a Powerstroke Diesel vehicle, I would advise you to find another shop.

Giving 5 stars here for the folks at AAD. I was referred here by a friend and I was checking around for a shop to provide so.e TLC for my 04 2500 turbo diesel. A couple of the competition didn't even answer the phone as INSANE as that seems, they nonchalantly said they couldn't touch my truck for 3 weeks when they called back.So why even call? Well I'm glad I was referred to AAD and they got me in and out within 4 days. Trucks running better again and I will be a repeat customer!Thanks AAD!
