This is twice I've been here and they never open on time the web says 8 store sign says 8:30. Even that stated it was 8:35. I noticed as I was leaving clerk was coming in time was 8:46.

The service Advance Auto supplies by installing batteries or windshield wiper blades is the Best ! Team Member TYLER (Winder Ga location) installed my wiper blades on the F250 (which, in previous years, has given technicians a very difficult time). TYLER accomplished the install expertly - and pleasure to deal with. Thank you Tyler.Once again Advance Auto in Winder Ga. went beyond with service. RAY was about to install the new battery in my Tacoma. Unfortunately, there were complications with removal of the old battery (the terminals were badly corroded and completely covered in deposit ... additionally, the brackets holding the battery in place were dissolved by this corrosion). RAY successfully removed the old battery and replace the brackets. THANK YOU RAY !!

Went in on Friday, part I needed was not in stock in Winder, Ga was placed on order should be in Saturday. Made trip to store on SATURDAY part was not delivered to store, was told to come back around 9 on Sunday morning part still not in, instructed to go to Dacula, Ga location and pickup myself. After spending over $200.00 I will now use a different auto part store in the future.

Yesterday (2/24/2022) I needed a new battery, I originally went in to grab some jumper cables to jump my car, and then drive it up there so they could put it in for me, as I've only got use of 1 arm due to surgery and having a cast. When I arrived at the store I saw the sign that they were not offering that service at the moment. I assume due to staffing. So I decided to just get the battery and do it myself even though it was going to be difficult. The gentleman who helped me was fantastic. He carried the new battery out for me. I eventually got the new battery in, but thought I had stripped the bolt the tightens the clamp for one of the wires. So I went back to Advanced and got a new clamp. It didn't fit the as the bolt was too big to go through the hole. So I took the clamp with me, unfortunate they didn't have a clamp that would fit. I mentioned it was probably a dealer only part and I hated to pay the dealer price. The gentleman asked if he could look at it. He figured out that the bolt wasn't stripped, but had just been loosened too much and the bottom fell out of the casing and I was spinning the whole thing when trying to tighten it down. He was very helpful throughout the day, very professional and I wish I'd have gotten his name. He definitely saved me some money. Thank you sir, you made a stressful and frustrating day much better and I really do appreciate that.

We buy automotive parts here on a regular basis but I was today year's old finding out they are a UPS access point. It was so convenient ! And the employee that waited on me, Rick, was so nice and helpful. And to top it off the UPS driver walked in while I was still there so I know for a fact that my package was shipped today. Thanks Advance Auto Parts.

Lady was very nice and helpful. However shortly after she came out to assist me the assistant manager (RICK) came out and asked her if she was almost done. When she responded with how she had just started helping me and had to run a battery test he responded word for word well hurry it up rudely with an eye roll. He seemed to be in a nasty mood and not wanting to wait on the second customer that had arrived himself. Let s excuse that this is poor customer service and move to the fact that your employees shouldn t be talked to rudely. In front of customers or otherwise. By watching his attitude and demeanor I m sure he speaks to his employees this way often.Let s be more selective of our manager staff from now on shall we?Customers and employees should feel comfortable talking to your managers.Thank you, I will be driving a town over to go to advanced from now on as I no longer feel comfortable at my home location.

I go there for black primer + paint rustoleum. Also i get the mechanic padded gloved, good for using orbital pneumatic palm sanders over an extended period or time. Great store.

The store is GREAT! The 1 star is because they close at 9 NOT 930!!! Just wasted a trip because the times aren t updated in google. Good people; good store. Just REALLY needed some stuff for my truck and couldn t get in 5 minutes past 9

Always helpful and friendly. A couple of suggestions: if you want a 10 to 20% discount order your items and have them delivered to the store. Also, this store is not open as late as AutoZone (by Zaxby's) or O'Reilly's.Store is little dated but the inventory is solid and updated

Went for an oil drain plug. Asked one of the staff at the counter he said I would have to talk with his manager. So they basically had 1 person working and 1 other standing around collecting a paycheck. Smh

This afternoon my car had a dead battery. I got it jumped off and drove to the parts store. A friendly associate named Rick came out and tested my battery and alternator. The battery was bad. I purchased a new battery and a set of wiper blades. Rick installed them for me. He was very polite and helpful. It was nice to see someone smile while doing their job!

Your go-to place for any and all automotive needs. They are equipped with the computer technology to locate the part you need for whatever your vehicle may be, foreign or domestic. Their stores are also always clean, well stocked and impressively organized. I highly recommend this store to anybody with an automotive repair need or anybody just looking for car cosmetic maintenance products or maybe some automotive electronics.

Felix helped me out when my alternator died on me. He was such a big help! He went above and beyond his duties. He could have stayed behind the register, but he kept checking on me to make sure I was able to change my alternator with no problem. He even gave me some tips, to make it easier next time. Thank Felix!

John M helped me with everything I needed to fix my dead truck. I drove there in my car with my dead truck battery and a phone full of pictures of the truck and what I needed to get fixed. I could not be happier with his advice. My truck is operational again. Thank you so much !

It sucked all employees were out side playing mechanics no one in store to run the counter wated 10 minutes with no one in store. Employe walk past me like I wasn't there.

Very good quality items however they're not able to answer some quite basic questions that you can easily find the answers to online, even after you tell them EXACTLY what it is you're looking for, describe the part (in my case an under the hood fuse) and ask them to search for it. My advice? Search with other parts places first.

Worst Customer service anywhere....especially from John. Do not deal with this guy...as a matter of fact...just go up the street to O'Reilly Auto Parts, they are much nicer and the prices are usually the same or better. If I could give zero stars to this Advanced Auto Parts store in Winder I would.

First off the staff I have encountered at this store have been very helpful and polite but Saturday the 25th of April 2020 I witnessed the most rude,obnoxious ,impolite, down right hateful saleswoman I have ever seen. The way she spoke I assumed she was a mgr.

The employees are more concerned on talking on the phone then checking out a customer with products in hand ready to pay. Worse service of any Advance Auto I have visited. So glad we have Autozone and O'Reilly in Winder, GA
