This place is great!I live in Pooler ga and had a tire explode while traveling up to north GA 20221014 around 13:30 and the first place I called: southern tire did not have my size but were nice enough to recommended these guys.A great group of country boys that get it done right and quick!I called and it barely had a chance to ring when Andy picked up and politely let me know he did have my tire size and how much it'd be.When I arrived Josh got to it, changed, balanced and I'm back on the road in less then an hour.I highly recommend this business.

I took my truck in with steering issues. It turned out to be a more complex repair than just replacing the rack and pinion. On and off they worked on it for many days, resolving issues with collapsed hoses and power steering pump, alignment. Danny ( the Owner) had the shop work on it until everything was fixed and it was safe to drive.Thanks for the excellent job!

The Cates family and their employees run a great place and are knowledgeable & experienced. I took in my truck for a front end issue and they took care of it professionally and promptly for a very fair price. Il recommend them to anyone as they were recommended to me.

Do not recommend this place. Having an appointment means nothing. Plan on waiting several hours. Prepare to pay for the mistakes THEY make! After buying three set of tires (1 truck and 2 trailers with 4 tires each) I will never do business there again. They have wasted my time and money. Thank goodness I didn,t have a flat on the side of the road. They overtightened the lug nuts and I have broken 2 breaker bars trying to get a tire off. Also if they loose your $300 truck key be prepared to buy a new one. They might help a little to replace it even though they were responsible for loosing it!

Very kind and fast service. Reasonable prices for tires were a great help in finding a spare tire for my camper. I Will definitely recommend this location.

I was excited to get there as the faces were friendly and inviting, but the service was horrible. They changed my complete exhaust on my F-150. I purchased the exhaust and I know it was the slip in fit however they cut and welded which was ok. But they burnt and melted bolts and instead fix it they grind it off and left a C-clamp under my truck to hold the flanges from the pipe and manifold together. I took it back and instead of fixing the actual problem they then changed the clamp to another clamp and welded the clamp to the exhaust.That cost me 800 dollars. Their service was horrible and not as near worth the price. Plus they kept both of my old Cadillac converters which they got another 200 bucks for them. I WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN IF LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.

I called 30 minutes before closing in urgent need of a new tire while traveling. They dis not hesitate to say come on in . When I got there they could not have been nicer and they were 100% honest about what to do. I wasnt sure if I needed to replace all 4 tires (since it s AWD). They didnt try at all to over sell me. If I lived in Waynesboro this would be the only tire shop I would go to!

We blew two tires on our camper about 20 miles out. Called ahead and they told us to come on in and they would take care of us. Sure enough they were waving us in when we arrived. We were in and out in 30 minutes with 3 new tires mounted and installed all for a fair price. If I'm ever in need in around this area again I'll definitely be back. A+++ service.

Have to support local hometown businesses instead of big chain stores. Had the lowest price around burke county,augusta, martinez,and Evans and more areas. They got me in and out quickly, and done quality work. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Great service. Timely and friendly. Price was right too. Had 4 new tires put on my 1987 beautiful Mercedes 420sel in no time even though not their normal vehicle. Very pleased only reason not 5 star is nobody's perfect. They're as close as you get around here though.. thanks!

Good to know its the only place in Waynesboro that will align your vehicle. Plenty of All Terrain and Mud Terrain tires on hand. Prices are very good and competitive with online pricing. Very nice staff and helpful. They do stay busy and try to work with you but your best to get there at 730am.

I travel for work. Twice in a 3 week period I had issues with my truck. Cates got me in right away, did great work at a fair price. They will always get my work and I will know the work will be done right.

The first time I was here they were very busy but they still got me in quickly for a tune up, changed the drivers side front axle shaft and caliper at a reasonable rate that's why I'm back today to get the water pump replaced and the thermostat. Very dependable fast service.

Left the bottom hose to radiator loose vehicle overheated , lucky I can fix it out hose back on and tighten it like it should have been done the first time

My 2002 Ford Taurus was in need of a 4 wheel alignment and Cates Firestone was absolutely on point with inspection. They notified me that I needed ball joints before continuing the work. They completed the work order quickly. I took it back because the car was still pulling right and they had no problem with me returning to have it redone.Thanks Cates Firestone for your kindness.

I wish I could give negative 5 stars. I took my truck in to get an oil change and to have my spark plugs changed. After having the truck serviced I checked the spark plugs a discovered they hadn't been changed. I took the truck back the owner almost insisted that they had been changed. So I asked him to come out to the truck so I could show him. Once he realized they hadn't been charged he apologized and said he'd get it taken care of. Needless to say when they called to inform me that my truck was ready the spark plugs still hadn't been changed and just the other day the change oil soon light came on. They didn't even change the oil. It's so sad that you can't support local businesses without being ripped off.

Good service, and prompt staff. They were busy as all get out, and there wasn't a single person just standing around. Good work ethic, people skills, and an overall nice experience. Will definitely return. People, dont waste your time and money at Walmart. Give these guys a chance to earn your business. I guarantee you'll be glad you did.

I took my jeep to a Jiffy Lube for an oil change and they told me the drain plug was so stripped that I was going to have to take it to a mechanic to have my entire oil pan taken out so they could fix it. I called Cates the next day and they said they could probably get it out for $25-$30. I was thrilled! I took it to them and was informed that it nearly as bad as they were expecting and was only charged for the oil change. They could have charged me an extra $30 and I would have never known. The staff is friendly and they're honest! I would recommend them to everyone!

I was quoted a price for patching a farm tractor tube and tire. And charged twice that price. Was also treated like I was stupid. Little did they know I have had many years in tire service. I will never do business with them as long as I live. But one last thing. The technician that did the work was extremely professional.

They were able to fix my bent rim and get me back on the road to home 3 hours away. Got it done in 10 minutes and only asked for $10.Awesome place. Thanks!

If I could put a zero for stars I would.My husband left from having his tires rotated and balanced at this establishment. He had only 2 lug nuts on and his tired fell off the truck at 35 mph going down the road! Thank God he was not on the interstate going faster this could have been much worse than a damaged rotor! Please be cautious having your vehicle services here.

Awesome place! Being from out of town it's nice that we found a place that will work on all our vehicles. I wish we could pack this business up and take them back to Arkansas when we leave.

I come to get my tires Balanced granted they were used tires 33x12.50R20 and they told me one of them was bad (not a problem). The problem was they didn't balance the other tires (like they said they did) I took the truck to a parking lot and checked for wheel weights and didn't find not one on any wheel. Granted they didn't Charge me don't guess I can B!#%/ too much lol. Word of advice don't tell a customer you're going to do something and don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to get tire fixed. They said they had to change a tire pressure gauge in the tire. Didn t tell me they were going to do work before proceeding to do so without permission. Charged me way over what the part would have cost me to change myself. Didn t give me receipt on what they did to car. I wrote check for that reason. And have called corporate office. I would never do business with them. I maybe a girl however, I am not stupid.
