Y all! There s no other shop in town and around Athens GA area that you would trust the most. These guys are amazing and above all they are trustworthy. Whatever you have, a vintage car or sport new car, Wendell and TJ are really cool guys and they are willing to help you with the mist of information possible and honesty. In this car environment, that is all we need to have, a mechanic that we can trust and honor their word. They have absolutely done a beautiful job on my 2010 Mitsubishi lancer GTS Sportback. So, bring all the cars to them. They will take care of you in a style. Thank you so much boys!

Always had a hard time finding a shop that would work on my 67 Ford F100. Either they didn't want to work on something that old or they would only do it if I wanted a full restoration. Vintage Shift was excited to work on my truck. These are true car guys that love all makes and models including newer stuff. They have kept me up to date with the progress of my truck with pictures and let me know if they foresee any problems. I even brought in my newer Buick to get the brakes done. Super nice guys. Would trust them with anything on my cars

What a great place. I have struggled to keep our old pickup truck running. These guys (both of them TJ and Wendel) left me with the feeling they cared about our truck as much as we do. With constant communication, I couldn't feel better about leaving it in their hands. Our Dodge D150 is running the best it has since we have owned it. Thanks again Vintage Shift Garage. Gregg

Hands down I'll give give this shop 5 stars and recommend it to anyone. Wendel is very attentive, meticulous, and honest. He explains all the details about possible issues and the best solutions for your car, while charging a fair price for it. When I bought my car, he performed a complete inspection and has been always helpful ever since. A friend recommended the shop to me and I know many people who trust Wendel to be their primary mechanic! Go for it!

Take your car here! The owners, Wendel and TJ, are knowledgeable, professional, and principled, and they will treat you with honesty and respect. Another shop told me that my A3 TDI needed engine replacement and should be scrapped, but a friend recommended I get it towed here for a second opinion, and they brought it back to life! They did not upcharge me and did not push any unnecessary work. They also took the time to answer my questions and explain each step of the work as they did it. I am impressed with their ability as mechanics and their integrity as people.

Thank you Wendel for being so professional, so trustworthy and so caring. He and his crew replaced the radiator in Mazda CX9 2009. There were no surprises. He kept me informed every step of the way. The price was reasonable and the work was stellar. It was hands down the best experience ever! I would definitely recommend Vintage Shift Garage to everyone. I'm a customer for life!

I bought a VW New Beetle 2007 a couple of weeks ago. Through a friend's recommendation, I took it to the Vintage Shift Garage, where Wendel, TJ, and Jacob did an excellent job finding the problems with the car. The service was reliable and honest. They only fixed what was needed. These guys are not gonna bs you when giving you feedback on your car. They offered me several solutions to the problems, aiming to fix what was urgent first. I chose to exchange the brake and wheel parts and fix an oil leak in the Beetle. I took a week and a half to complete the work once there were some tricky situations with the delivery of the parts. Although the company does not specialize in VW, Wendel told me he owned new beetles before, and the service came out outstanding. I also returned the car a few days later for a checkup, which they did not charge me for. I 10/10 recommend Vintage Shift Garage for anyone who wants a reliable, friendly, and non-expensive experience with car maintenance. Thank you guys for the service!

Very high quality and fast service, with honest and qualified people. I'd recommend Wendel and TJ for all car related situations. My car broke on the highway, I towed it to their shop and it was fixed on the next day. AWESOME service! I was about to be scammed by a dealership in Athens when my friend recommended Wendel and TJ's shop and I'm SO glad I took my car to them. Saved me literally THOUSANDS of dollars from services I didn't need (and they identified a problem that they "conveniently" forgot at the dealership... with a high chance they did it themselves!!). Fast, honest and good quality service, highly recommend!!

Wendel Doneda did a great job of servicing my newly purchased 2011 F150 Lariat Limited, all the fluids were replaced using OEM equipment at my request along with plugs, wires, and 2 idler pulleys which he recommended.He doesn t try and up sell anything and only repairs what is needed, he also kept me updated on the progress of my repairs. ( He sent me pics of the bottom spark plugs showing that they were never replaced by the previous owner or his mechanic, the 6.2 has 16 spark plugs like the Hemi engines ) He and TJ Jones are hard working honest mechanics and you can trust them to fix it right the first time! I know the name sounds like they work on classic cars but they work on newer cars as well, give them a try you won t be disappointed.Services: Transmission, Carburetor cleaning, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Oil change
