Saw an ad on Craigslist for a part I needed, but was having trouble locating for an older GM truck. Talked to "Shawn" on the phone to confirm the availability of the part and was quoted a price including the electrical switches I would need to remain on the part. The price was quoted at $40 and I confirmed this included what I needed and told Shawn I would be driving over 50 miles and didn't want there to be confusion. It was confirmed. On arrival I was greeted by a pleasant lady in the office and directed to find "Shawn" out on the yard. He directed me a couple of miles up the road to a salvage yard to find his son, "Little Shawn," to get the part we'd discussed. Everything went well to this point. I even found a few other pieces I could use and had them removed from the donor car as well. When Little Shawn told me the price of the parts, the original part requested had gone up 50% to $60 dollars! The rest of the parts were a reasonable price and I felt it was fair, but the extra $20, while it won't really break me, was a complete rip-off! Bait-and-switch is bad business. If I'd been local, I wouldn't have completed the purchase, but the fuel to find the parts in good condition elsewhere would likely have cost more that this rip-off. Be careful.Edit: Little Shawn broke some tabs on the dash shell making it impossible to quiet the rattles. My bad for not checking more closely before I left.

Shawn is serious and hardly smiles, but his prices are reasonable for cars and get the jobs done on any repairs. 4 stars

I take all my cars to Shawn. His prices are very reasonable. He will tells me the truth about if my car needs to be fixed now or if it can wait. I refer many people, especially women to him because of his honesty and knowing that he will not take advantage of you to make an extra dollar.

BUYER BEWARE, 0 stars on this one. I didn t want to write a bad review but I have to be honest. I gave them 3 separate opportunities to work on my truck and I was less than satisfied every time. First I needed a new motor. The price was good, but after they put it in, the truck started sounding like an 18 wheeler sometimes (like the motor has a wind tunnel sound in it or something). I took it back and he said it must be the catalytic converters. I ordered those and he put them in. After they did that, now the truck has a loud metal rattling noise when I stop at red lights or go through drive thru. It s pretty embarrassing. I wasted about $800 on the catalytic converters and that didn t fix the noise and he didn t even apologize for misdiagnosing the problem. Lastly, so I could at least have something good to say about them, I had them try to fix my drivers side window (it stopped working when it was at one of these mechanics shops but nobody is saying what happened). I ordered the switch for the window, that didn t work. I had them put a new motor in the window and that didn t work. His explanation was that it must be some kind of electrical problem. That s it. I m thinking, if you are a mechanic, should you tell me exactly what s wrong and tell me what it will cost to fix it? Instead he just told me that the motor didn t work and he basically doesn t know what s wrong with the window. The one positive thing that I can say is, my truck was broke down and I needed a new motor, and they did put it in and my truck is running again. But now I sound like a wind tunnel when I m driving it and it sounds like a noisy rattling truck when I come to a stop. So all in all BUYER BEWARE, they are not very good mechanics.

I purchased a car from Copeland's Auto sales and my experience with Copeland Auto was one of the best experiences of purchasing a cash car from Mr Copeland Auto sales was a very exciting experience. I purchased a car from Mr Copeland the owner work with me with my purchase on my Chevy Impala if I need to go back and purchase another car I would I recommend Copeland's Auto sales to all my friends I give him five stars on working with me. My son was looking at the 98 Mustang GT that he saw online. The hood was already up, when we arrived. Not a good sign! Took about 12 mins & 19 secs to start the vehicle. It sounded like it had a blown head gasket to me. I got out the car to tell my son, "we're not leaving here with this mess! You will be walking 3 miles dwn the hwy bcuz it's going to break dwn!" Then the slick talking seller told my son, "don't wait long bcuz my phone is ringing off the hook." I told my son, "nobody's calling for this junk! Let's roll!"

Worst place to buy anything. Sean Copeland is a scam artist! He sells junk cars! Frame damage! He's lied on several occasions and bullied me into signing fraudulent documents! Read everything! Don't buy here!

This is a family owned business, first time dealing with a repair shop for my vehicle other than the dealership, this place is a blessing. Every ones attitude, from the front desk to the mechanics, made me feel I was in the right place. Thanks again!!

Good experience with Shawn and the guys at Copeland's. Needed parts from one of their wrecked cars. Great on price and they even took the parts off for me which is a huge plus.
