Absolutely the best for my boat's maintenance! Their inventory is top notch. You won't find a better dealer in North Georgia! And by the way, if you ever need work done to your boat, it will be stored and worked on inside the facility. Not sitting outside in the weather waiting to get worked on, then brought in for repair and put back outside waiting for you to pick it up. Nope. Stays inside from start to finish. Thats important to me because I keep my boat inside out of the weather, which has contributed to its longevity.

As seen in my previous review, this company commented in a way to show they do not care if they fix your boat. Very unprofessional and lacking of customer service skills. The day before I took my boat to another place they quoted a distributor for $450 of which was just the part. I took my boat to a better company and they replaced the part and did other things for less than what Boats and Motors said the distributor itself would cost. They also made sure it would run good on the water. Boats and Motors is very shady, unprofessional and incompetent. Boats and Motors doesn't care to fix your boat.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The worst! They thought my boat had a dirty carburetor before I took it in. Over 6 1/2 weeks of them having the boat, they worked on it for 3 hours and did work that was not authorized or what I was expecting them to do. They do not call you with updates and when I called them they gave vague answers. After trying to repair a discontinued distributor they realized by my suggestion that the entire part should be replaced. Was supposed to get me a quote to do that on 7/12 but they did not get it together. I would not recommend this company unless you like to waste your time and money!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Chuck put bearings and brakes on my trailer, changed my impeller, changed the shaft seal that was leaking, added a remote drain plug, and changed the lower unit oil. Work was done when promised, kept me informed along the way, and bill was what was quoted.Chuck/ Boats and Motors of Dalton will be doing all the work on my boat moving forward.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Boat trailer service, Oil change

Disgusting people to deal with.Didn't quote work they did, Didn't do work we expected. Charged over $500 and still didn't get the boat running right. Acted like they could repair the boat at first but after they had the boat for over 320 business hours it still runs like before I took it to them. Will rip you off...these people are crooks!Argumentative too. Making excuses for why they are incompetent and untrustworthy.This company does not care at all if they fix your boat, look at the image of a comment from them. Thankfully Freeport Motorsports does! They are very knowledgeable, caring and fixed our boat. Even paid less than we paid these crooks. Already had our boat on the lake multiple times since Freeport Motorsports fixed our boat. They even tested it on the water to make sure it was good to go. Boats and Motors of Dalton, Inc are shady, unprofessional crooks. Gave me estimate of 450.00 to 500.00 for cleaning carburetors . Over a week later called carbs needed rebuilt at a cost of 1075.00 . Took it to lake the day of picking it up still have idling/low speed problem . Called them told me it was some other problem it ran good with them .Would have been happy paying if they had fixed problem or they were willing to help.

Rebuilt my engine never worked right he kept saying it s vapor locking wound up blowing motor again a week after warranty refuses to work on it and fixes the problem wouldn t take my dog over there to walk around the building. He s very hateful too. (Mr. Eddie)

Boats and Motors of Dalton recently serviced my Yamaha SHO on my Skeeter FX20. Also had both bow and dash electronics updated to the Lowrance HDS Live along with adding ActiveTarget. Always professional and quality work along with very reasonable pricing for both service and electronics. I have been doing business with Boats and Motors of Dalton for many years and will continue to do so in the future. I even bypass several other dealers/service to come to Boats and Motors of Dalton, so should you! To repair a small hole in a bass boat they estimated me $2500. I could purchase a good condition bass boat with outboard motor with that amount.
