My experience with Maaco in Tucker GA was the worst experience I have ever had with a body & pain't shop.I left the car on May 3rd 2023 and was told it would be ready in 2 weeks. Car was not ready for over a month and a half. Called many times and never a call back. I called corporate and they said each Maaco is individually owned and all they could do is contact them and nothing changed. Finally contacted Maaco and they said the car was ready. Went to pick it up and the work done was incomplete and the paint job was horrible. There were many dark spots and air bubbles and flaws in the paint. There were some small dings that were not fixed and were on the work order to be fixed. They said they would fix it and I left the car with them.This time communication was horrible. Could not find anyone to call back. After several attempts I was contacted and they said the car was ready Again I go to pick up the car and there was Mt. Vesuvius in the middle of the hood and flaws in the paint. They had to fix it again. They said it would be done in a week. Not done in a week. Finally I was called to pick up the car on September 1st 2023. I Arrived and went to get the car and there were visible dirt spots in the hood of the car and top. I was furious. I asked for monetary restitution regarding this debacle. They refused.When they returned the car I had new keys handed to me not the original keys I left them. I was concerned by this and they refused to give me a reason. I paid the bill and would never recommend this company.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Save your time and money. My car sat here for almost 3 months. They finally worked on it after I had to call everyday after the 2nd month went by. The last week they had my car is when they did majority of the work on my car and it still has scraps, scratches and marks. They even put the wrong parts on my car. Valerie was rude she has the worst customer service. My experience was terrible getting my car fix was the worst part of my vehicle being damaged. This shop is very unresponsive to phone calls. Told me my car would be ready in a week and it ended up taking 3 weeks because someone was out sick which seems to be a reoccurring thing at this location. She also chooses to close the shop whenever she wants. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I ve contacted corporate & even though the young lady left a note she stated each shop is operating as one it s own entity but the title of maaco should be taken from them as they do not uphold the reputation you would except. Then when she told me to come pick up my vehicle at 330 I get there at exactly that time & she has locked the door on a Friday with no notice this trying to get me to pay an extra $75 a day fee. We wait outside for over and hour to no avail. Then we find out from the mechanic the car isn t even finished! Never coming here or recommending to anyone EVER.

I am pretty much plzd at the work done to my daughter's car/ SUV .....BUT there are a few things that need "touching up"!!! You forgot to put the hydraulic fluid back in the trunk lift and the gas cover was NOT painted on the inside!! I have to bring it back.....but I'm going out of town on the 12th and won't return until the 19th!!! I WILL be bringing it BACK on the 21st to get these things taken care of....thank you so much for your service!!!Service: Painting

Please listen to the reviews and take your business elsewhere! Firstly, there is a huge lack of communication, they don't ever answer the phone. The blonde closes doors whenever she wants to not accordingly to hours posted. They pick and choose if they will email you back. My vehicle came out worse than when I left it. I had white scratches around my bumper looks like they hit it up against the gate or another car. I went in with the issue of my front bumper being a different color than the rest of the car, the guy took notes and they returned with half my car now the color of my front bumper. Making my small issue of just the bumper into a bigger issue. I brought it back and blonde was rude and pushing us out with no care to my situation, little did she know I have her on recording the whole time. Then I came back on the day she scheduled us in and I met with the older guy and reviewed my car, told me it was easy fix and we agreed to meet that Monday, he handed me paperwork with his signature. Here comes Monday, blonde has the door locked stairing at me from her desk for an hour. Never came to see why I was here or anything. I had the paperwork from this guys to come in as well as he was recorded as well telling me to come back because it was a easy fix no problem. I recorded them because they are sketchy people with no type of customer service. I missed work to come in and get my vehicle checked in for drop off just to have old blonde stair at me from her desk. She was rude and hated on me because I had to call corporate to find out the status of my vehicle. She was complaining to my husband the whole time that I shouldn t have done that that was wrong she didn t have to go that far ima show her . She doesn t need to work with customer PERIOD. So now I m left with a two colored car and large scratches around my vehicle. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Avoid this place at ALL COST!

Please just do your self a solid and read the reviews. Trust me no one there wants your business. They only take it if they have to. Just try walking in the door and 2 minutes later after talking to the blond lady everything will be clear and you will take your business elsewhere. Hope this helps.

The owners (M/Ms English) were SUPER. They honored the estimate. The repair required locating difficult to find parts and they did the hard work. The truck (2000 Nissan Frontier) looks better than when I bought it. I am VERY pleased and would highly recommend this establishment. Thank you for fixing my truck in such a way that if feels like a new truck.

I attempted to call this location several times, and was sent to the same voice-mail stating that I was calling after business hours and to leave a message. I've called everywhere from 9:30am to 3pm and still no answer. I decided to drive here since it wasn't too far from my home, only to walk up to a locked door instructing me to call the same number that has been not answered the previous times I have called. There isn't anyone here to give any directions, and after not being able to get anyone on the phone I would not want to leave my car here for service.

Great experience! Booked an appointment online. Shows up for a quote that was very reasonable. They were able to take the car that day. Said 3-5 business days but it was done in 1.5. Jim was very friendly and great to work with.Service: PaintingService: Painting

Was very disappointed with my service took it in for some rear end damage insurance repair work receive my car back still marks from the bumper impact where they tried to fix it water left in my trunk also my key electrical lock pop does not work no longer very unsatisfied with the service really feel like I got ripped off do not go here

I had great experience at this maaco. I was nervous after some of the negative reviews. But they gave me an estimate made suggestions for repair and type of paint after asking me what I would like first. No pressure to upgrade just professional opinion. My car came back looking great. I wish I would have taken a before and after picture. Great customer service and price. And they finished the job when they said they would. I would suggest to anyone I know to get there car repaired and painted there.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had a sideview mirror hit a trashcan. Who knew that would cost me a whole mirror? A friend recommended Maaco. They did a good job for a reasonable price (about $360 for parts and labor). The people are nice. There is definitely room for improvement concerning communication. I had to call serval times to follow up. They may be short-staffed. But again, they were pleasant to deal with and corrected any issues I had.Service: Painting

How this place is sitting at over 1 star is beyond me. Had I read the yelp reviews beforehand I would have gone elsewhere. I took my car in at the end of June. My car is still in their possession. They continue to send for supplement cost. It the only thing they have repaired is my door. My entire front end looks just the same as it did when I brought it in. The head mechanic always says we need another week .why. If you tell me all you need to do straighten the frame. Why has that still not been done? Why when I first brought my car to you did you not do a full evaluation, even with the estimate from my insurance. A full evaluation of the damage would have prevented all these delays. How about we talk about communication. I have YET to receive a call about the status of my car. When I do call this location I get no response. So, I am them forced to drive there in the rental that i keep have to extend because they keep delaying my repairs. They left and took a family vacation with no communication to their customers their office will be closed. What even more appalling is calling their corporate office is joke. No response there either. It s really showing signs of insurance fraud at this point. I want to my car fixed properly and in a timely fashion. This continued run around is disappointing. Their slogan is uh oh better call maaco it should be uh oh you called maaco .

The paint job looks superb. You cannot see where it started or ended. That was a plus for me. However, the front office lack professional business sense. If you bring your kids to the office they should not be sitting in the chairs where you are supposed to be handling business. I stood while I was there and the child sat in the chair. You are supposed to treat your customers with upmost respect. That was not acceptable for me.Service: Painting

This was the only car body shop around to take my car for pre-sale body work in a short period of time. Right now it's hard to get any repairs done for cars due to lack of employees and some parts. Despite the difficulty of reaching shop via phone, I would like to leave 5star, because the work was done in 3 weeks, excellent quality. Car looks like new. Owner is very polite and friendly. I's definitely recommend to use it.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I was basically OK with the work done, except for one thing. There was some overspray of white paint spatter on my black car, on the passenger side mirror. I called about this THREE times, and was told every time that a tech would be calling me back to arrange a repaint of that mirror. Nobody ever called me back. I went to the location on Saturday, but nobody answered the phone and the door was locked. Oh, also, their door states that their hours are 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, but actually nobody even gets there until 9:30 AM to open the door or answer the phone. Do not go there they are very dishonest they tried to rip me off.. they were already paid for some of no the services that my car needed and they didn't even replace somethings.. I had to go up there numerous of times trying to get then to fix the issues.. They had my car fir days and caused me to loose money waiting for them to fix my car . I go up there and see my car still sitting because they had a person out.. it's needed mechanical work and they could of took it to get fix and just not have it sitting They are very dishonesty.. They probably gave them a fake supliment for more money. Too much stuff going in today.. and you ripping people off.. don't go there..Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I wish I could leave negative stars! Do not go to this Maaco (tucker)!!They never answer the phone. When you call during business hours the recording says you re calling after business hours even tho they are open. I dropped my car off on a Monday to get my bumper fixed. Said it would only take 2 days to fix. On the 3rd day I called all day to see when my car would be ready because I needed to know if I had to give the rental car back. Finally someone answered with attitude saying that my car would be ready the next day between 3-4. I didn t get my car back until the 4th day and they hadn t even got done painting it, so I had to leave and come back at 5. Then I finally get my car back and the screws are missing from the bumper and the bumper is flimsy. I called back to speak to someone the next day and of course NO answer. Don t waste your time or money here!! Horrible customer service. BUT the lady who does finally show up to the front desk was nice

Gotta be the worse maaco ever. Never opened, never answer the phone. Look at the other reviews and don't waste your time with this location. Hopefully maaco gets better people at this location SOON

Worst worst worst experience ever!!! I am extremely disappointed and upset about my vehicle. I took my vehicle in for minor touch ups. But I got it back with damages that was not there. My vehicle has scratches all over. Deep digs on my passenger door which was perfect prior. The hood of my car has scratches that they tried to hide with paint, after washing my car when i got home the undried paint came off.Also the interior of my car was left dirty with paint residue, there was marks on the ceiling of the car.They called me and said it was ready but when I got there the guy was spraying down the vehicle with soap and water, they gave me the vehicle wet with soap residue, therefore these issues were not visible.My car is a bmw and was in prestine condition, now it isn't.DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Jim & Valerie English are great owners and did a fantastic job painting my Father-N-Laws old 1988 Dodge Ram 50 farm truck. The truck was in very bad shape and they were extremely professional in painting and body work. The time that they took to complete the job was unacceptable. They had my vehicle for over a month and I received little to no communication. The receptionist was rude. She was confrontational and argued with me and my wife then abruptly hung up the phone over an error that she was responsible for. The work wasn't complete until I spoke with the owner who attempted to explain the reason for the delays. The owner is professional and moved things along once he got involved. My stance remains that it shouldn't have taken over a month to complete the work requested.

I was very pleased with the work and also the price I'm got for my car repaired I had to get someglue removed off my driver door along with getting part of my driver side door handle glued back on I went to other several places that couldn't remove the glue and I went to another Collision place that quoted me $1,057.50 But not Macco they're very reasonable it wasnt even $200 for the great work They were quick and courteous. I've used them before and have them please with previous work and price and their professionalism

They told us that our truck would be ready in a week. It is almost a month. You call, they never answer the phone. Then to top it off, after the paint job.. they realized they messed it up with spots and had to go back over those and it would be ready in 2 days. Here we are on day 4 and still not ready. My gf called from her number and they answered. Now they are saying tomorrow and that they will call us. BAD BUSINESS!!Service: Painting

I have been to three other body shops to get estimates to fix the front end damage from hitting a deer and to paint the truck and camper shell. The three other estimates ran between $7,000.00 and $8,000.00. There was no way I could even consider that as the truck is not worth that much on the market. I went to Maaco that I pass coming home from work and stopped in for an estimate. Bodywork and paint came to around $2,000.00. I jumped on it and was thrilled with the way my truck looked. Jim English was who I spoke with and I am very pleased. Thank you Maaco! I now have a brand new 2002 Tacoma with only 304,000
