We enjoyed our stay here at Belles Bluff Campground.Their campground borders the pretty White Chimney River that is off of the Sapelo Sound here in Georgia. So all the sites are pretty much waterfront. The tent sites border the marsh around the back. There is a very nice long dock for fishing, crabbing, or boating. It is peaceful and quiet here. It is just one of those places where you can relax and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets over the water and just chill.

This has it all in my opinion plenty of room for campsites and activities around the property, the marsh and river are right there on either side of you, but you re high enough to where the water level won t effect you. It s honestly beautiful, but the best part is I was looking for a campsite late at night and everywhere around said they were either closed or full, I called past when they said they were opened and the guy who I assume is the owner answered almost immediately and told me that they have plenty of room and would be happy to have me. Quiet away from the city and surrounded by the peaceful water and trees it is worth the stay for sure.

The charts are not accurate, our 6' draft made it no problem. We were bringing out sailboat up the 350NM from Fort Lauderdale and needed a spot in GA to stop and rest. This fit the bill. Docks were nice (almost new), neighbors were great, and Ron the owner was incredibly responsive to phone calls and texts. Website and google information made it clear this was a small place with limited services. We called Ron in advance to confirm what services were available, and get some local knowledge of the waters. We also had transportation pre-arranged but you'd need a car if staying here as there's nothing walkable.

The bugs are bad this time of the year. They need True-Green or Lawn Doctor to treat the area for gnats. The bathrooms are ok... plenty of hot water, more seating area is needed in the showers... the toilets need to be modernized (enlongated)...Noteworthy details: Fix the bug problem and update the bathroom ... it's a nice place to camp...

Beautiful live oaks. We stayed on the long term side. RV sites not well marked and are just dirt - no tables - no bath house - no WI-FI - no amenities of any kind. We have T-Mobile and had no cell service. The worse thing was the stinky water- smells like sewer - grossed me out showering in it. There is nothing to do unless you have a boat. No hiking/biking/walking trails. If you are looking for some place to sit around and do nothing this might be just the place for you.

I'm so late in posting my review but better late than never right?! I stayed here from July-October 2022. I absolutely loved my stay! The location next to the river is so peaceful and beautiful. I used to love watching the sun rise and sitting on the dock to just watch and listen to nature. Ron is such a nice, helpful, and laid back guy. I really wish I could have stayed longer. The only reason I left was to be closer to Savannah for work (I'm a travel nurse it took me 45-50 minutes to get to Savannah). I'm a solo traveler and I felt very safe there. I would definitely recommend! Things to note...there is no laundry facility and the closest (decent) laundromat is about 20-30 minutes away. There is one about 10 minutes away that I used sometimes out of necessity but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The bathroom facilities on the campground are very clean. There is a piggly wiggly & dollar store close by and a few great restaurants as well. There is one pizza spot that delivers food. It took a bit of adjusting for me to get used to the rural area (I'm more of a city girl) but it was nice to get away and be in a nice quiet environment. I would definitely stay again.

This was a hidden little gem. Ron was super responsive and friendly, even let us borrow a kayak paddle for the day and suggested a really amazing local restaurant. We had a blast rafting on the river and hammocking in the beautiful trees. It was nice, quiet, and relaxing. And you really can t beat the view!!! I highly recommend giving this place a stay.

What a special place! Cozy campground on the river with nice floating dock. We were able to paddle board right off the dock. Just beautiful. Harris neck wildlife refuge is only a 15 min drive and Savannah is about 35 min. Beautiful views.

We stopped with our boat in Ronald's place, for a month. This is such a hidden gem!!The docks are brand new, electricity in 15, 30 and 50 Amp available, water and wifi on demand too.The nautical charts to come to Belle Bluff are not accurate, there is plenty of water for Catamaran with 4.5 ft draft, and even monohulls can come here at high tide without any issue. Ronald is always a phone call away to help us to navigate the river, pick up something or fix something. This atmosphere combined with incredible sunsets, and dolphins around is just incredible. If you are on the ICW and want a small break from usual marinas, this is definitely the place to go !

We camped in tents for a week here and had a great experience. Beautiful scenery, super helpful owner is on site and offered great suggestions for anything we needed. Saltwater river with great dock. We brought kayaks and new paddle boards and had an awesome time paddling every day. We will be back!

The site didn't look like the pictures online. The site was supposed to be 15 13. But I dont think my tent would have fit (its 10 foot wide)I was so sad and disappointed. The pictures had it looking like an amazing campground but it was really small with enter at your own risk sign - not responsible for accidentsTraveling to Florida and just wanted some place nice to stay the night .So I lost the camping fee and had to get a motel for the night, because I couldn't find anything else ( memorial day weekend)

We had a great time here, we stayed 3 nights, and it s right on the river. We fished, crabbed, and caught a few shrimp. We were the only camper there, so it was quiet, and enjoyed every bit of it. We got too watch the dolphins swim up and down the river, and even caught a shark. The owner Ron is a sweetheart, and very attentive. We will return.

Great place to go when you want or need some peace and quiet. Everyone is so friendly and outgoing. I stayed there 9mos. Mr. Ron was super helpful to everyone I've ever seen him come in contact with out there. Always willing to help someone with anything. The bathrooms were recently updated and painted etc. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. And great fishing off the dock when the weather is just right. My 7 and 10yr old girls LOVE IT!

Very nice marina along the river, definitely the largest so there is plenty of space to park your boat. Monthly he only charges a 100 to park there!. Very peaceful, Ron is really nice, and every site has a view. The bathrooms are in process of being freshened up. We definitely will go back soon. Enjoyed not having any city or street lights to obstruct the view.

Belle Bluff Campground is a must see if you are traveling anywhere near by! Great stop on the way to Florida for all my Northern traveling friends. Close to I 95 yet a world away! We did a little fishing off the dock (caught a few), watched an amazing sunrise and sunset from that location too! Ron is very helpful with camping ground questions but also very knowledgeable about the area and where to get some great seafood in the area! Can't wait to go back!

Only stayed one night, but it was a confusing process to book. You have to call the number and text him the information.Ron was very nice and he has good scenery for the campground. However, the spaces are tight, my 50 Amp plug had low voltage so I had to connect to another site using a 30 amp, and it s all grass sites so my 5th wheel sunk in the middle of the night against a tree.

Stayed here on our way home, as a quick stop for the night. Just a short couple miles off the highway, but easy off and back on again! It was a beautiful, peaceful spot, and a kind owner! Wish we could have stayed longer! We have 7 children and they had fun and had plenty of things to explore. We loved walking out on the dock they have.
