Can't really say one way or other. I was only helping drop off someone else's truck for repairs. I can say that it was a higher ticket than expected. I give them credit that they didn't hold the truck waiting on the mirror for drivers side. The other issues were fixed and they had it back in like 2 days. Would probably use in the future if I was in that area.

I am updating a previous review of this shop. My car's break lights were constantly staying on and draining my battery overnight. I took my car to this location as I was thinking that my break pedal was stuck and keeping the lights on. They charged me between 150-200 dollars and fixed this problem. I drove 1 mile back to my home and before I got there my car began to misfire. Over the course of 10 months I eventually had to replace all 6 of the coil packs on my car, with 3 of them being under the intake manifold of my engine. I understand that parts go bad but it is unacceptable for my car to go in with less issues than it came out with. I ended up fixing most of the additional problems myself or with the help of mechanically inclined people. If you find yourself in a situation where you actually want your car fixed instead of being turned into a repeat customer because they caused a problem that would make you return to their shop, beware. I had others that were happy to have my vehicle serviced without the hassle. Also, I got my front break pads and alternator replaced for 250 labor only (parts not included). Marks would never offer you a deal like that.Edit: Marks is definitely lying on the price of those repairs. Considering they charged me 150 to replace a break pad sensor there is no way they would have done an alternator and front break pad replacement for 250. Please stay away from this place. Go to The Shop instead. I have heard good things about them from family members. Do better Mark's, it was better before the founder passed away.

Took truck back to verify if problem was still under warranty, never received a phone call with diagnosis, (4 weeks) .. Informed issue wasn't covered under warranty... Asked for a quote for new or used engine to be installed... Again, never received call with quote... Was told i would get a quote by the weekend, it was Wednesday, no one ever called... Finally decided to have truck towed back home..tow fee was $250 each way... Didn't have any problems the first time i had repairs done, everything went great...not sure what happened, but was very disappointed !!

Takes a little bit of time to get the vehicle looked at but the otherwise great service.

I really do not believe that this mechanic did a good job on replacing parts on my do not suggest taking my little red wagon from childhood to this mechanic shop

I took my van in to get the thermostat replaced and they kept it for a week. They didnt change it at all but charged me $150 and kept the new thermostat I bought. Then told me to come back the next day if I wanted a receipt because there computers where down. I had to take my van to another shop where they changed it and said the housing was nearly rusted in two. so he did absolutely nothing but charge me. And Kept the part I got for the job.Service: Engine repair

Great customer service. Great and timely work. They always give me, what I think to be, a fair price for whatever work I need done to my vehicles. They are upfront and and straight forward and always go above and beyond to make sure my vehicles are up to par. I recommend using them for all your repair needs.

Had some major work done to my SUV at Marks Automotive. My car is running better than ever! Would recommend this shop for all of your mechanic needs. Sasha and Trey are the greatest! Awesome fast service for a great price and I even have a warranty on the work!! Very pleased!

From my first phone call to Mark's I was kept apprised of the repair, the cost and the progress. Absolutely the best and quickest repair I have ever had done to a vehicle. Being from out of state I was afraid I was going to be gouged on the repair. Not so! The repair was extremely reasonable and the staff could not have been any nicer. Mark Fowler was an awesome mechanic and amazing guy. His family is continuing his legacy by providing great service at great prices. The best part for me, a very busy working mom, is they offer pick up and delivery!

I was looking at a used vehicle for my mother in law and called the shop to see what they would charge to inspect the van for me, I spoke with Grace and she said it would be free!! I went on later that day, meet grace in person and Dillion did the inspection, they were personally great and went the extra mile in doing my inspection writing us out pricing etc. I'll definitely go to them for any of my motherinlaws vehicle needs

Mark's Automotive is the best shop in the area. They service our Class C Motor-home and do a fantastic job every time!! They are also willing to deal with the third party when warranty work must be done. Trey and Sasha work hard to give the best customer service!!

This place is amazing. They are knowledgeable and they are so sweet. I am new to the area and was calling around from help with my car over heating. What I thought was the problem wasn t but they found it and were able to not only get it fixed for me but did so today. I told them i had to have it fixed ASAP cause I had no other way to get my son in the morning if I didn t have my car. I had a break down when I found out it was more then I thought was wrong and they listened and not only fixed it but comforted me in my break down. I will continue to use them in the future and recommend them to anybody. Thanks again guys y all were my saving grace.Update: I left out for Tennessee Saturday morning the car did great up there and back today. The temperature stayed in the normal range even with the ac blasting. Thanks again guys yall were my life savers. I've got my son back home from his visit with his grandparents thanks to yall. And I will be seeing yall again soon to get the codes fixed.

I want to thank you for the work you did on my Subaru Forester. There was some issues with the quoted price and the final bill. Some things were changed to make it better. Matt the owner was kind enouph to explain the difference. It was still higher than the quoted price but the car is fixed and i trust the work. Thank you guys. Now i can finnish my journey.....joe

The best of the best in Thomaston and surrounding counties. If you are looking for excellent top notch care for your vehicle and trustworthiness this is where you want to bring any vehicle. Trey and his staff are amazing and work extremely hard to get your vehicle fixed with the best care. Sasha is amazing at the front desk makes you feel welcome . I brought my "new to me" 2013 Prius to Matt and his friendly team this morning to get the oil, radiator and inverter fluid changed before I take a long road trip. They also installed a trailer hitch I purchased (for a cargo rack) online but could not install myself. The Prius doesn't have a temperature gauge and Matt explained the process to me and also said if I wanted one installed he'd be happy to add it. Knowledgeable and professional, I made the appt. Friday for Monday at 8 am. The work was done quickly for a great price and I was driving home by 9:30am. They also have a comfortable waiting room and I am extremely happy with their work. I will be back when my other vehicles need repair. Thanks Again Matt and to your team. (Note; My "Certified" used Prius is still under warranty and the dealer in Atlanta told me it didn't need all the fluids changed except the oil until 100K miles, although I wanted it done. Hopefully I will never see the dealer again.)

Very kind people and once you pick your car up don't plan on it being back in the shop for a while cause these folks know what they are doing!
