Beware took my car in for a timing chain adjustment they adjusted the timing they charged us $650 they crunk it and messed the head up we spent around $5-$600 to have the head rebuild along with new head bolts, gasket,seals and 8 valves for them to turn around and mess that head up they replaced the second head and charged us 997.00 for a head redo they said the phaser we ordered was for a 2010 regardless if we got sent the wrong part or not any experienced mechanic would have known this from the start they had our car for 3 months when we got it back and they claimed it was fixed the check engine light was on and was throwing a camshaft crankshaft collision code which is to do with the timing they said it was the VVT and that we had them backwards so they swapped them they put the exhaust VVT in the intake VVT spot so we had to replace those it s a 2016 equinox that has NEVER had a check engine light on till now the valves are clattering and the chain is slapping I m writing this because I don t want this to happen to anyone else

We took our car in for a diagnostic on 2/18. The fast talking lady told us it was the brakes and caliber and they submitted the info to the warranty company . We were unsure because the lady seemed really pushy about getting everyting done so we asked can we pick up our vehicle but she said the car was already taken apart so we agreed to have them fix it. When my husband called 2/21 to make sure it was ready for pick up a Man ( Joe,Owner) told my husband there was something else wrong with the vehicle. When my husband called back 20 minutes lady another man said the car is ready for pick up. The pushy lady calls my husband back and tells him to bring JUMPING CABLES because our battery is dead!!!!! All she said is " Maybe they left the door open while they were working" On the way to get the car two family members called to tell us our windows are down and our car is in their parking lot in the rain. When my husband got there to get the car it was squeezed between two cars. The fast talking pushy lady offered no assistance. All she was worried about was getting our permission so she could submit another claim to the insurance company for more work. She was extremely rude and unapologic almost like she was doing us a favor by fixing our car. Well we now have the car after jumping it in the rain while she watched. And after all of that the brakes still are doing the same thing. We have to take it somewhere else to get another full diagnostic because we dont know what they fixed or broke at this point. I would never recommend anyone to go here. This small town mehanic takes advantage of people due to their apparent ties to law enforcement so PLEASE BE AWARE!! They never worked with our warranty company before and tried to get so much money out of them for our car. Luckily we are not dumb and they couldnt take advantage of US. DONT BE DUMB !!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!Service: Brakes

I have been there a few times before and never had any problems with different vehicles but last time I took in a vehicle to get repaired paid got in vehicle was doing same thing took it back got attitude from the mechanic I do not recommend this shopService: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance
